know what to expect, yet we trusted our friend's word and really liked Erin's photos on her website. I have never been professionally photographed prior to our engagement session, so I was very nervous. Erin calmed my nervous almost instantly when we met up that day. She has such a wonderful eye for making a great shot, talked my now husband and I through the shots, and also let our personalities shine through the pictures. When it came to our wedding day, Erin went above and beyond expectations!! She jumped from place to place capturing the getting ready pictures, beautifully captured our ceremony, and somehow was able to capture the fun excitement of our reception. My husband and I got married in a Catholic Church and there are strict guidelines that photographers must abide by when photographing a mass. Erin was already aware of exactly what she was able to do. She never intruded, yet still was able to grasp the amazingness and holiness of the sacrament. Our priest was even impressed! Throughout the entire wedding day, she never lost focus or energy! Many of my guests told me later, they were so impressed of how dedicated my photographer was throughout the day. She never stopped looking for things to photograph. Specific photos that I mentioned to Erin that I wanted, when I forgot them on the big day, she remembered. When I had a bride freakout moment between the ceremony and reception, she took control and made me feel at ease. She is the perfect mix of everything you want out of a photographer (calm, knowledgable, respectful, nonintrusive, dedicated, focused). We love every single picture! She was the perfect photographer for our big day and will be the person I continue to call on to shoot all of our big life events.

For the engagement photos, she worked with us going through a number of locations and changes of clothing to get a wide variety of different shots, all of which came out very nice. She then spent the better part of the day with my wife getting the bridal portraits complete. For the day of the wedding, she did a fantastic job capturing everything from the initial morning setup to the two of us leaving at the end of the night. The pictures turned out perfectly and she was great to work with from initially talking to her before any of this began to receiving the final pictures. We ended up recommending her both to one of my close friends and groomsman that used her for his wedding, and we used her again to get pictures of a private family wedding just this year. I would highly recommend Erin for any wedding and I am highly confident that she would do a great job no matter what.

She was not only very professional and knowledgeable, but she was also very personable- which was a big thing for me, and paid close attention to detail. Besides the pictures I take on my phone, I generally have no experience with photography and don’t know anymore more than the average person…especially when it comes to wedding photos, and I very much appreciated the guidance and advice Erin offered along the way. She listened to all my requests and really got an understanding of what I envisioned for my wedding photos and executed them beautifully. I had researched and interviewed a good number of photographers in Houston that my friends had used in the past, and compared to them, Erin was very reasonably priced and her photos came out just as good, if not better, than other high-end (and very pricey to say the least) photographers. Hire Aimee at College Park Flowers, who went the extra mile for us to transport flowers from the church to La Colombe d’Or so that they would be used again for table settings. Hire Erin Anderson for photography, who is a no-nonsense professional who surveyed the sites in advance to prepare for the most advantageous shots. Hire Allen of Allen Hill Entertainment who will meet with the Bride and Groom to select a band of their liking. Then he will meet the band at the venue to make sure they are ready to go. Hire Carlos Estela to create a delicious macaron tower instead of the wedding cake. Finally, enjoy the Bride’s special day by hiring Kelly Balforth of Eventology to coordinate all your plans with these wonderful vendors. Kelly was recommended to me by another bride who had interviewed six wedding planners before hiring her and, yes, she was my “angel of mercy” throughout the wedding day and made sure every detail was executed to perfection. The day of the wedding we had a terrible rain storm (hurricane) and she was still on time for everything and got great indoor shots. She was so professional and never got in the way but captured all the amazing moments. I highly recommend her if you want pictures you'll cherish forever.

Erin originally told me that the photos would take 4-6 weeks to be complete but I was surprised to get a link to most of them only about a week after the wedding which was REALLY awesome. Immediately I knew she would be "our photographer". She was so warm and instantly put two people who don't love being photographed at ease. The whole process with Erin was great- she did our engagement photos, my bridals, and shot our wedding. She brought a second shooter to my bridal portraits and between the two of them I have magazine quality picture- they were artsy but warm and very "me". People still comment on the portrait Erin shot that I used at the reception- it now hangs in our house. We have wonderful pictures documenting that immensely important time in our lives. Although she is mild mannered, quiet and calm, she still managed to get our families organized in a timely fashion so that we were not late to our reception.....that was quite the task. I would strongly recommend her to anyone- she will not disappoint.

Erin has a quiet presence but was able to wrangle a 300+ wedding of Mexicans and Italians. She captured all the most important moments and had some artsy shots as well. Erin was easy to work with, always reachable via email or text, and was reasonably priced for all the services that were offered. I have been to over 30 weddings and have seen the whole range of photographers - from the photographer missing crucial photo shots to photographers with incredibly bright flashes practically accosting the couple at the altar in a very conservative church. Erin got everything we asked for while managing to stay in the background and blend in unobtrusively - a true talent indeed! She let me and my groom be the stars and the center of attention during our wedding while making sure we had beautiful memories to last us a lifetime. She was also very accommodating of our church's strict photography policies - no flash during the ceremony and no crossing the center aisle of the church. All our pictures were beautiful, from pre-ceremony to the getaway car. Erin Anderson Photography was the perfect complement to our wedding day and I couldn't recommend her more highly!!!

a thing! We got the "Unlimited Coverage" package and it was well worth it! The Pros: Unlimited time- Erin was the only reasonably-priced photographer we found that had unlimited time allowed for both engagements and bridals as well as the wedding day. It was worth it to be able to squeeze in a couple snaps in our Texans jerseys and his military uniform, in addition to the usual engagement photo wardrobe. Easy to work with- For engagements, she let us traipse all over Brazos Bend. I didn't want bridals, so she let us trade that for a couple's shoot afterward and then let us take her almost to Brenham for some bluebonnet shots. Could not have imagined how smoothly it all would go! Quick turnaround- We had engagements and bluebonnets pictures within a couple of weeks, and the entire wedding less than a month after the wedding. Good value- For the amount of photography that happened and the personal customer service, the value can't be beat. Two photo shoots, the wedding photography, and all the points above... I don't believe another similarly priced photographer could've made it happen. While there are cheaper options out there, remember that after the flowers die, the food is eaten, and the decorations are collecting dust in the attic, the pictures are what you have left to look back on. We couldn't be happier! The Cons: We simply don't have any. I've recommended her to everyone I know!
