We cannot say enough great things about Erin and her incredible band! We had a small 30 person wedding and they had EVERYONE dancing the entire time from dinner until they left. Honestly, I think we almost broke the dance floor we were having so much fun. They danced with us and made it the most memorable night. I cannot recommend them enough! Everyone is still talking about how amazing they were. Erin was also super easy to work with. She made the entire process seamless from the first point of contact. I 10/10 recommend working with Erin and her fantastic band.

Erin and the band brought such an amazing energy to our wedding day. Not only did they rock the reception, they also played really beautiful music at the ceremony. We got so many compliments from our guests on the music. We had the best time and can't recommend them enough!

Hiring Erin was the best decision we have ever made, and she absolutely made our entire wedding. We heard her play at June Farms a year before our wedding and were in awe right away with how she captured the audience and had everyone dancing the entire night. We were not sure of much when wedding planning but knew the whole time that we had the absolute best band. Three of her band members played during cocktail hour, which was wonderful. After dinner, Erin and her band started off with a banger and had the entire room dancing for the entire night. The energy they brought was incredible, and she was out dancing and singing on the floor with us. We started a little late, and she played for two hours straight without taking a break. Our guests are still raving about our band and many have said our wedding is the best they have ever been to, for which we give all credit to Erin! Besides her incredible musical talent and comedic nature, Erin is a really incredible person and exactly who you want in your corner on one of the biggest days of your life. Thank you for everything Erin, we look forward to hearing you again!

Our daughter was married at The Mansion outside of Saratoga Springs earlier this month (10/2022). Emily and Jake, the bride and groom, researched a number of bands and settled on Erin Harkes Inc. What a perfect decision! If they keep making choices like this they'll win at everything in life. Working with Erin was SO easy, and on the big day she was a marvelous emcee, full of energy, comedy, taking the time to give words of encouragement to nervous parents or give gentle behind-the-scenes direction to make everything flow perfectly without seeming overly scripted or too-formal. And then, the MUSIC! Nice quiet background stuff, jazz, I think I heard a classical tune, during cocktail hour, but the main event during the reception... wow. We know a bit about music and this crew has CHOPS. Vocals (Erin, we're not worthy!), melodies, harmonies, rhythm, power and virtuosity (band, we're not worthy!), these folks can play! They have a huge repertoire with contemporary music that the younger guests loved, classic stuff that spans generations, wedding reception staples, and great stuff for the special dances (you slayed the father of the bride with Cat Stevens during the father-daughter dance!). And when the time was right, Erin and crew could whip up the energy to a point of, we don't know how to say it any better, just pure joy. But the most amazing thing was how it truly felt like the band were celebrating with us, not just playing music to entertain us. Above and beyond. We've never been to a wedding where the dance floor was instantly full and stayed full the whole evening. Even the older folks who might have chosen to leave a little early didn't, the energy was just so real and compelling. If felt like "something not to be missed." No one wanted it to end. So, brava, bravo! If we ever need to hire a band again for a special celebration, we won't waste time looking elsewhere. We are so grateful we found Erin Harkes and her band! They made our wedding truly unforgettable. Erin was so sweet and caring, super responsive - and we generally felt like we had her in our corner looking out for us the whole evening. :) She took all of our suggestions and was absolutely phenomenal at each and every one - the band was super friendly and unbelievably talented! Erin Harkes' band was honestly both of our favorite parts of the night. We wish we could have another wedding or event to have them play again because it was such an amazing time. They nailed the music for the ceremony, it was super beautiful and romantic, and then brought so much energy and life to the reception. Oh my gosh I wish we had 100 stars to give Erin and her band! If you are considering having them at your big day, rest assured that they will truly MAKE your wedding. People have been raving about our wedding and the highlight was Erin and her crew. Their set list, brass solos, interaction with the guests and ability to read the crowd were unparalleled. They had everyone from the flower girl to grandma and everyone in between up and dancing! They even let the groom jump on the drums and have his moment in the sun which was an incredible moment for everyone. We've been to many weddings in the past few years and the Erin Harkes Band was far and away the best we've seen. We'd hire them again 1000 times over. Thank you Erin & crew!! You all are amazing.

Erin was truly a pleasure to work with and really made our wedding reception an exceptional night. She was very accommodating, especially considering the restrictions surrounding the pandemic and needing to reschedule. She and the band worked hard to make our night unique and personal to our tastes, and overall a wonderfully stress free experience. Would recommend her over and over again!

Words can not describe how fantastic Erin Harkes and the Band truly are on stage - As firm believers that music can make or break a party, we knew that we needed to have Erin and the entire band perform at our wedding. Absolutely a MUST have - they sound fantastic, and they are interactive with their performances which made a lasting impression on us and all of our guests. Erin was so helpful and responsive while planning and rescheduling our wedding during covid. She is professional, personable, and lovely to work with. At our reception she and her band were so fun and kept the party going. Aside from being an amazing singer, she has amazing energy. Many guests shared with us how great the band was. I HIGHLY recommend!!!

When we decided to get married, the Erin Harkes Band was an obvious choice for us. We have been entertained by Erin and her band for quite some time and love the energy they always give off at their shows. Erin met with us prior to the wedding to discuss everything we wanted and to assure us that she would personally make sure that we would remember the night forever. Our wedding was a bit less formal by choice. We preferred a casual celebration with our favorite people in the yard. With our yard visible to folks in our neighborhood, many set up their own backyard gathering and enjoyed the band from afar. The Erin Harkes Band continues to be the talk of our neighborhood. For months after, anytime we ran into a neighbor while out on our dog walks, we were always congratulated on our marriage and an immediate follow-up question was “wow that band was awesome, who were they?” Lastly, I requested Erin to sing “Stand By Me” as our song to walk out to. Although it wasn’t in the never-ending options of songs that she provided, she shrugged it off with a “yep, I can do that.” She did it exactly the way that I had requested. Perfect! I didn’t want to walk out because I knew she’d wind down the song for the ceremony. They really were perfect. We want to do it all over again!

I cannot recommend Erin highly enough. She has an incredible voice and blew everyone with both her acoustic performance at the ceremony and with her soulful energy at the reception. Her band is just as good as she is. We had a number of professional musicians at our wedding and all of them were blown away by their performances. Coupled with this talent is a very high level of professionalism. She provided recorded music for the cocktail hour and dinner along with a mic for speeches and everything was flawless. I didn’t have to think or worry about a thing. And lastly, she is just a damn good human and someone you want in your corner on your wedding day. I knew she was there to make this day special and I probably owe her money for the mental health support she provided :) The dance floor was rocking all night and I can’t count the number of people who told me this was the best wedding band they’d ever seen. And as others have noted, you must get the horns!!! I’m forever grateful to this band for taking our wedding from good to exceptional.

Without a doubt, BOOK THEM! I seriously couldn't have asked for a better experience that will continue to be a true highlight of our wedding memories for years to come. First: Quality of Service. I have not heard a live band like this in a very long time - maybe ever. It's been 2 months since our wedding and people are still talking about the band! We had a backyard wedding and in the days following the wedding, neighbors were telling us that they came outside, started a fire, lit up cigars, danced, and felt like they were listening to Janis Joplin sing (Erin's voice will give you chills...so, SO beautiful). Since the wedding, I've been asked several times who they are, how to get in contact with them, and I know they are already booked for a 2021 event because of the performance they put on at our wedding. The sound quality, selection of songs, energy and sheer God-given talent of all 7 band members + the sound engineer - 10/10. Responsiveness: Hands down, Erin was more on top of planning than any other vendor. We got lucky with an opening on her calendar! When we initially contacted her in January 2020 for our September wedding, another couple had just backed out of the date and we were JAZZED to be able to book them. We found out about the Erin Harkes Band from my best friend's parents who had seen the Band play live in Saratoga. We don't live in the area so we were only able to see clips online, but it only took a 30 second clip of Erin's rendition of Proud Mary to sell us. Also, do yourselves a favor - book the horns. Non-negotiable. Incredible, incredible musicians. Professionalism & Flexibility are a combined category this year: Of course 2020 can't go by without a mention of COVID, but this is where the character and integrity of Erin really stuck out. Like many other couples in 2020, we went through round after round of do we or don't we, and we wound up changing venues to accommodate an outdoor event and drastically reducing the guest list. It's no secret that so many wedding vendors have suffered from cancellations and postponements this year, yet even still, Erin couldn't have been more helpful, accommodating, encouraging and most of all patient throughout this time. She truly listens, offers valuable feedback & helpful ideas & a whole lot of humor. Value: Best money we not only spent for our wedding, but probably in my whole life. I'd book again and again and again and then I'd eventually be happily bankrupt listening to incredible live music over and over and over. Affordable, yet second to none entertainment. Not to mention, Erin was a gem and hustled over to our ceremony which was at a separate location to handle the sound and music there, then hustled back over to the reception. She also MC'ed the reception, set up a killer song list (our request was to keep everyone dancing all night long), AND the whole band surprised us by learning and playing our favorite Brandi Carlile song! Priceless. When we got in the car to leave town the day after our wedding, Erin was the first call we placed because we couldn't wait to RAVE about the Band's performance. Absolutely 100% made our wedding. Stellar, amazing, incredibly wonderful performance - we could not be any happier if we tried....still! Long way of saying - book them today. Don't hesitate. Don't weigh other options. They are a "move your wedding date to an opening on their calendar" kind of band. You will not find any group of musicians better than the Erin Harkes Band!

We hired Erin for a private event and she was top notch all the way around. She was very accommodating to our musical tastes, extremely professional and most importantly, rocked! One of our friends at the party booked her for their wedding reception on the spot. I make it a point to try and see her at her numerous live events and will absolutely work with her again.

We had Erin Harkes sing our first dance song at our wedding. She was easy to work with, enthusiastic and was engaging with us consistently to ensure she gave us exactly what we wanted for our first dance. Erin consistently is professional and her talent really makes it a no brainer to have her be involved in a big special occasion such as a wedding. Also, my parents couldn’t say enough about how impressed they were with how Erin sounded!

Where do I start... Vocals- Erin’s voice is so damn powerful... absolutely amazing! Band- Whether playing solo on her acoustic guitar or fronting an 8 piece band her command and stage presence will leave you shouting “ENCORE” Value- I book on average over 600 acts/ performances per year. The professionalism and experience that Erin displays is second to none.

We booked Erin for our summer event and from beginning to end it was perfection! Besides being talented, Erin was professional, fun, timely and completely attentive to our needs. Can’t wait to work with Erin again!

Erin Harkes Band played for our outside venue. They have a great mix of crowd pleasing songs from classic rock to pop. The musicians give everything they have and are happy when they make your event just what you wanted. They will even learn your special song.

While I book a ton of the best bands from the area and beyond at Gaffney’s in Saratoga Springs, Erin Harkes and her band are at the very top! Incredible talent, infectious energy and true professionalism! These folks always bring it!

We have had a lot of bands play at the farm for different weddings and events, and The Erin Harkes Big Band was an absolute crowd favorite! Positive attitudes, incredibly happy, and appropriate music, and a professionalism that we need at our venue, June Farms. We look forward to working with them over and over!

I am on the board of the Saratoga Springs History Museum, located in the Canfield Casino. We hired Erin & Mike Lemme to play at our annual fundraising gala in December. They were great, I can't say enough about their talent, knowledge of songs and professionalism. I have seen Erin play with a larger band as well, and hope to hire them to play our event this year.

My husband and I were married at the Mansion at Cedar Hill in Selkirk, NY in June. We were fortunate enough to have The Erin Harkes Band play for us. Our guests are still coming up to us telling us how much they loved it! My husband and now father-in-law are both musicians, so it was important for us to have good live music for our wedding. We were picky. We weren't into the cheesy traditional party music (no Macarena or Cha Cha Slide for us) but we still wanted a few good recent pop tunes that would get our guests up out of their seats and dancing. Erin and her band did this and more! It was a hot June evening, but we had people of all ages dancing - from 12 to 90 years old! (We have the pictures to prove it!) Erin did her best to make the set list personal. We were provided a nice sized book of songs to choose from. This made the set list at the wedding really feel like 'us.' Erin learned Ben Folds "The Luckiest" for us as our first dance, and sang it beautifully. Erin also learned one of Seth's favorite David Bowie tunes, Life on Mars. It was so pretty, many of guests stopped mid-conversation to listen to it. It was a little touch that the band didn't have to do for us, but it made our experience with the band that much more special.
