I cannot more highly recommend Erin and her team for your wedding day. Words can’t describe how patient, helpful, and professional Erin is. We truly felt like she was the person who was “on it” most throughout the whole process and it was such a relief to know she would be there on my big day. Unfortunately some major things did go wrong on my wedding day and Erin was there to step in and help the situation to get things running as smoothly as possible. I am so grateful for her calming presence! The cherry on top is that Erin is immensely talented! She and her team are so organized and efficient, you know you will get the best photos possible from them. They know exactly which poses to do and how to position you and the lighting in the most flattering way. We were so pleased with the photos they printed for us at the reception that we got to take with us that night and on our honeymoon the next day. If I could give Erin more than 5 stars for being the best vendor I could have imagined, I would! Thank you Erin!

Erin and her team were wonderful! We knew they were great after our engagement pictures, but on our wedding day the team totally impressed us. Erin came up with an extremely detailed photo schedule for the wedding day and helped us and the bridal party stick to it so we could get all the photos we wanted! They also have an emergency kit complete with almost everything you can think of, which definitely came in handy more than once. I did not use a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, and Erin and the team honestly acted as both photographers and coordinators. All my emails and questions throughout the process were answered quickly. Erin was so friendly and had plenty of good advice. We are thrilled with the way our teaser pictures turned out and can't wait to see the rest!

Erin (and team) is seriously the BEST out there. Toward the end of our wedding, Erin came over with a printed portfolio of 8-10 pictures FROM THAT DAY -- the photos that we spent the bulk of THAT afternoon taking-- and I had some in my hands already! Now I don't have to spend the next weeks dreaming (worrying?!) about how my photos would turn out -- I had a taste of them, loved them, and already get to show them off! Another awesome thing about Erin? she makes the photo list FOR you, and then asks you to add/remove whatever you want - so I didn't have to worry about forgetting family photos or have a bridesmaid constantly checking photos off of the list - Erin and her team handled it all. I sent her some photos I found online and wanted to replicate, and she printed them out and brought them with her (and the list) and made sure we got them in too. But, Erin is so much more than a good photographer - she's truly someone you want to have with you on your big day. Erin sent out a day of timeline to all of my vendors to make sure that everyone was in sync and know when we'd need everything set up for photos at the venue. She had a magic bag that would produce whatever you needed - getting thirsty taking photos? oh look, here's some water! Getting a headache? which of these three pain relievers would you like! -- it's the little things like this that shows she's a seasoned pro when it comes to weddings, and that sort of care and experience goes a long way on your crazy day. Special shout out to her whole team -- John and Diana were wonderful the whole night. They were always where the people were, which made it easy for me to flag someone over for a random special photo-op on the dance floor. Also, Diana can be very commanding, which is exactly what I wanted when it came to all of the groomsmen! Diana also bustled my dress in >5 minutes, when I had 3 bridesmaids stumble at it for 15 minutes before. Basically, if I had a time machine and could go back to a year before my wedding and book vendors knowing everything I know now, I'd still book Erin in a heartbeat.

Erin, John, and Diana were amazing! I could not imagine having another photographer team for our wedding day. Erin suggested to us to get ready at The Alexander and I LOVE all the shots from the morning. Erin did a great job of getting classic photos with a contemporary mix. They were so organized and knew exactly what photos we wanted. We come from large extended families and they were quick at the church in getting everyone corralled together to get important group photos. We even were running ahead of schedule at a few points throughout the day thanks to her team. Erin communicated with all of our vendors the week of our wedding, which made it so easy for us to know that everyone on our vendor team was taken care of and knew what to do! Our day could not have gone any smoother and it was all thanks to Erin Hession Photography! Erin even sent us some teasers less than 48 hours after and I love every single photo! I can’t wait to see all of our photos from the day! Thank you so much Erin!

Erin and her team were fantastic. From the planning to the wedding, she was professional, easy to work with, and made the process so simple and stress free. The team was everywhere during the wedding/reception without being overbearing, had great ideas on different places to take fun pictures, and were overall a blast to work with. They managed to keep our group in line, which was no easy feat as we had a ton of personalities, many of which (the groom for one) who are not picture people. They made the whole picture taking experience super comfortable and open and just an overall great time! I 100% recommend her for wedding and/or any other photo needs!

My daughter's wedding was 1/5/19. Erin and team were amazing - patient, thorough, thoughtful, timely, funny, kind. I've seen some prelims already and know they will be fantastic. She puts her heart into her work and your day - and you feel it. Thank you Erin!!

Oh my gosh Erin and her team are WONDERFUL! She actually went onto my Pinterest board and found pictures that I had under my wedding board and brought them to the venue. Her team is absolutely wonderful! I would hire her again in a heartbeat! We just had our wedding last weekend and I’m so excited to get our pictures back!! She also gives you about 10 pictures that she and her team takes that day and gives them to you at the reception! So you have some pictures to take home with you to share with everyone. They kept us all on schedule which was fantastic and they got us ahead of schedule which was GREAT! She is our photographer forever! If you ever need a photographer, Erin and her team should be your go to!

Working with Erin was a dream come true! Her crew was prepared for every possible mishap. It felt more like Erin was the wedding planner! She kept everything on schedule and coordinated with the other vendors. Erin will make sure you feel your best and relaxed during your big day. Erin, John and Dianna are AMAZING! I have known and worked with Erin & John for 10 years. Once Doug proposed I was so excited to reach out to Erin. My email started with "you do not know how long I have waited to send this email!" Erin is super detailed and comes up with a day of photography schedule. She also met with in person prior to the wedding to make sure we had proper time for all the photos I was requesting. She provided helpful advice and helped guide me with some of my timeline elements. She also shares her timeline with the other vendors to help make sure everyone is on the same page. On wedding day Erin, John and Dianna were there and they were phenomenal! They were positive, upbeat, on time, professional, patient, flexible with last minute changes and so many more things. They helped keep us on schedule and made sure we did not run late for things. She also had back up plans in the event of poor weather but thankfully we did not need them! They also had bottles of water with straws (and with full face wedding makeup having a straw is great!), cooling towels, band aids etc. Anything we needed, they had it! They took so many photos and were like photo ninjas – my parents were super impressed. My parents just kept telling me – wow they are great, wow they are working hard – and I kept saying “I know!” 😊 Towards the end of the night she took some really cool sparkler photos and also gave us 8 printed photos we could take home/show to family/friends at the reception! This was so awesome! The teasers so far have been fabulous, and I know the rest of the photos will be great! I knew I made the right decision from day one and I am so thankful to have had Erin and her team apart of our day. Photos are one thing you can hold onto after the day is over. I know my investment was worth it and I know they captured all the amazing moments that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Erin and her team were outstanding! From our initial call with Erin, we knew that we had made the right decision. She's extremely sweet/responsive/detail oriented and helped us choose the right package for us. She worked with us to meticulously craft a wedding day schedule to capture all of the important pictures of the day between the wedding party and our families. The team worked efficiently to execute the schedule on the day of the wedding - They were ON IT! The value and professionalism we received was beyond our expectations! Erin, John, and Diana truly deserve more than 5 stars. Communication before the event was awesome. Answered any question I had even if it was advice not photography related. She was in contact with every vendor sending out the timeline the week of making sure the entire team was on the same page. The day of didn’t start off as planned due to another vendor, out of Erin’s control, but they made the most of it kicked it into high gear and got us back on schedule even ahead of time! Even though we were moving quick we never felt rushed and had so much fun taking all our photos. Having the behind the scenes pictures posted the day after and the take home photos the same night made my day! Erin and her team are worth every penny.

We love Erin and team. I had met them previously when they photographed my mother, so when they came to do my husband and I's engagement photos it was like seeing old friends. They took every picture we could think of and some we didn't, any crazy picture from the internet we found and liked, they helped us try to recreate. The wedding day was fantastic! I felt so at ease knowing that Erin and I had spoken about all the photos I wanted, my mother wanted and my mother-in-law wanted. I didn't have to worry one bit that my day wasn't be captured the way I had envisioned it. Thank you Erin and team for capturing the best day ever for us to re-live whenever we want!! THANK YOU!!!

The best advice during wedding planning was to get the very best for your wedding photographer. The day goes by so quickly and it's important to have someone who can truly capture the beauty of each moment of your big day. Erin does that and so much more by exceeding all possible expectations. Her and her team as top-notch and I'd argue that there's no one better in the area!

If we could give Erin and her team more stars we would. She was BEYOND amazing. Erin was prepared for ANYTHING. She had anything and everything handy if you needed it. Her and her team made sure my husband and I were comfortable and if we needed anything throughout our event. She was more than a photographer on our wedding day. We loved working with her. Wow. If you need a Photographer at your wedding- you need Erin. You would be doing your wedding a disservice not to include her in your special day. Starting the process of finding a Photographer can be scary. These are the memories that will be captured for the rest of your life. When I reached out the Erin, she was accommodating, responsive, & interested in my ideas. She knew that we were on different time zones & preferred later calls after working hours. She worked with our schedule to answer emails & set up calls to go over details. Erin responded right away & knew the exact thing to say. What I really loved from the beginning is that she had examples. Ideas can be in your head or from Pinterest, but Erin had her own to show. This really brought ideas to light of what we could work with & especially where. She found our venue & had different examples of events/weddings lined up to show us so we could have a better understanding of truly perfect photos. She listened to our likes & dislikes & constantly kept notes & reminders for herself so we enjoyed every photo experience. No Bride is alike. Instead of cookie-cutter, Erin gave me unique. The process throughout the engagement is difficult. There are many times that we couldn't find the time or let stress get the best of us. But with Erin, we were on it. She did not let us drop the ball. She was a photographer & planner rolled into one. She really does have the best plans for the entire wedding day in order to capture the photo every time. Erin even knew if there was going to be traffic or bad weather the day of. She had her times down, schedules ready for anyone getting photographed, & really helped create a detailed plan for every minute of our day. That is what I called comfort. The day of, I couldn't believe how on it she was: actually I could she is the most organized person out there. She exceeded every single expectation I had for my wedding. It was as close to perfect as I could've dreamed. Thank you Erin for everything:)

Erin’s team is truly the best of the best!!! Our wedding day was a little warmer than expected, but Erin and her team were both accommodating and flexible throughout the entire day. Erin’s team honestly goes WAY above and beyond for their clients. For example: At the hottest point of the day my curls began to fall. Wanting the perfect hair and the perfect pictures, I began to worry that I wasn’t going to look perfect for the wedding ceremony. Seeing and feeling my concerns, Erin sent her husband to the store to buy a curling iron. At the time, I did not know this was happening. However, when I was later told about this, it truly brought tears to my eyes. Knowing that someone cared about me and my wedding day, just as much as I did, meant the world to me!!! They say the little things matter and I couldn’t agree more!!! During the entire wedding planning process and wedding day, Erin made me and my husband feel like more than just clients but friends. Thank you Erin and team for everything! We could not have asked for anything more!!!

There is nothing that could have been any better. Erin and John and Diana are the friendliest, most professional people in the business. I'm 100% convinced. They were prepared for everything. The day went perfectly...because of them. The pictures are better than I ever could have imagined. Absolutely stunning! Side note: I normally hate taking pictures and I hate looking at photos of myself. They made it so fun and have given us so many beautiful memories we will never forget. I can't say enough good things. We highly recommend her and her team. They provide a service and product worth a million bucks!

Erin is amazing!!! We cannot say enough great things about Erin and her photography team. Our wedding went so smoothly thanks to her. Erin’s organizational skills and positive personality make her the ultimate wedding photographer. She was prepared for everything and kept us on schedule. We had lots of family and kids in our wedding and Erin created a schedule which worked for everyone. She is able to do a variety of styles such as portraits, candids, and artistic shots. The pictures are better than I could have ever imagined. We are so grateful Erin was our photographer and really could not have asked for anyone better. Erin has given us so many beautiful memories which we will always cherish.

Erin is phenomenal. After meeting with her and seeing her diverse and creative body of work, we rushed to lock in our wedding date with her because we absolutely knew we wanted her to capture our wedding day. I'll echo others by saying that with Erin you not only hire an expert photographer but also a super organized wedding planner! For example, as soon as we arrived on location for our engagement photo session, Erin ran through a plan for the various locations where we could take the photos we'd discussed. In that moment, I knew that hiring her was one of the best decisions we'd made for our wedding. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, she went over every detail with me, and she even helped me nail down the timeline for our reception. The week of the wedding, including the wedding day itself, she was the glue that kept everything together and on track. She, John, and Diana kept everything rolling, from coordinating delivery schedules with our other vendors to helping the guys fold their pocket squares to making sure I stayed hydrated to capturing every moment we wanted (plus some we wouldn't have thought of, but she did!). We loved the folio Erin and her team put together before our reception even ended, as well as the teasers she sent less than 2 days after our wedding. Erin is talented, smart, organized, and professional. She, Diana, and John are also genuinely nice and caring people. We cannot recommend Erin highly enough.

Erin is truly an extremely talented photographer! We did not get a videographer because she captured exactly what we wanted so there was no need for one. Our engagement photos with Erin were amazing and creative. My mother thought she was looking at a model in our photos in which I told my mom it is due to Erin's talented eye as she captures the exact moment that makes the picture just perfect! Erin's team is very organized and even provided water and slippers the day of my wedding when my feet were toast! Erin really cares about her clients and its shows in her work. With our 18 month engagement, we wanted to pick the "best of the best" for each of our vendors and Erin is that. Whenever Erin is available, I would plan my wedding date on her availability because she is just that good and worth it. Her talents exceed all expectations and the best photographer I have ever encountered. We had an "A-List" wedding team and she lead the pack! We will be using Erin for any family photos moving forward as there is just no one better. She captured all the photos on my wedding day list and more. We can't recommend Erin Hession strongly enough!! First of all, our pictures were amazing. She and her team really captured the essence of our big day. I was pleased to receive several "teaser" photos, both the night of our wedding, and some more just a couple of weeks later! The package we chose was nice because we got access to over 3000 pics from our wedding day! Also, beyond the photographs, we just loved working with Erin and John. They went above and beyond their role as photographers to provide us with tons of support on our wedding day. Their experience was evident - they were prepared for any snafu that may have arisen, with water bottles, safety pins, and good advice! Of all of our wedding vendors, we were the most pleased with Erin!

Erin Hession Photography team is the best investment you can make in planning your wedding. I met Erin when she photographed a friends wedding, and she highly recommended her. Erin has years of experience and it definitely shows. I felt like I had more than a just a photographer but also a wedding planner in working with Erin. Erin and her team exceeded expectations at our wedding day. We knew right after our first meeting that she was the photographer we wanted. Erin is so authentic - her personality is fun, kind and caring. She loved our quirkiness and our meeting really felt like we were just chatting with a friend. During our engagement shoot, Erin made both of us so comfortable. When we get our photos back, we were blown away!! We loved them all and had confirmation again that we had picked the photographer for us. What topped it off, was our wedding day. Erin and her team went above and beyond the whole day. Erin had printed pictures from my pinterest that I liked and made sure to get each of them. She accommodated all of our requests and kept us laughing as we went. My feet hurt so John brought me memory foam slippers. Some salad dressing got on my dress during dinner, and Erin was at my side with a cleaning agent. Again and again, this team put smiles on our faces even when the camera wasn't pointed at us. My favorite moment was getting the folio of pictures at the end of the night!! It was such a wonderful way to end the day. I am counting down the moments until we get to see all of the pictures of the day. Thank you Erin, Diana and John for making our day so memorable and perfect!!

I cannot say enough about Erin and her crew, they are phenomenal. The Erin Hession Photography team is marvelous! I first met Erin three years ago planning my sister's wedding and essentially I knew then if I ever got married I would have to book Erin Hession Photography. I knew my wedding photographers before I even met my groom. Both as a Maid of Honor and a Bride, Erin Hession and every member of her team is wonderful and helpful. In the early planning stages she starts collecting your wedding information, helping you look for vendors and even recommending some she has worked with if you request this information. She drafts a timeline and keeps in touch throughout the planning process. Closer to time she sets a personalized appointment to make sure she has absolutely every wedding detail in place. She will take into account your pinterest board, your Etsy purchases, even including your animals in the wedding day! If you have no idea what you are doing (i.e. me) she will make suggestions for you to choose from and make sure you will have every photo you wanted for your big day. When that day comes around the team is ready to keep everyone on schedule and in-line. They are kind, make you feel beautiful and confident, and make every detail perfect when you are in front of the lens. They also have a bag of extras in case anything goes wrong from chalk to hide stains to extra socks, to a sewing kit in case the bride rips her veil before the ceremony (true story). What stands out even more are the small moments of the day when Erin went far and beyond the call of duty. I had been so nervous I didn't eat that morning and when my appetite was coming back there she was with a bag of chips, she saw me hold on to the wall and steady my heels and offered me a pair of white slippers from the emergency bag, and she delayed the first dance when my father-in-law had to leave to move his car. She made sure everyone was there for the big important moments-and how she has the super power to keep tabs on my family I will never know. The Erin Hession Photography team is one of the best investments you can make for your wedding!

I got married in 2014, so the wedding day high has definitely died down. Erin and her team were hands down the best part of our day (besides the whole tying the knot thing!). Erin is incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and excels in communication and managing. I was very underwhelmed with looking for a photographer. It was hard for me to put into words what I liked and didn't like. When talking to Erin the first time she was very effective with figuring out what I liked and didn't like. She took the time to go through pictures and find out what exactly I didn't like or liked and made huge notes on our file. On our wedding day she had all the sample photos I brought in and was crossing them off to make sure we got those specific shots. I did not hire a wedding planner, but Erin sure made me feel like I did! Her team took incredible care of us and our bridal party. They had emergency snack and deodorant and so much more! They've truly been around the business long enough to be prepared for anything. Erin also worked exceptionally well with our other vendors--kept all of their time tables together and made sure no moment was missed. We STILL get compliments on our wedding photos to this day. Best money we spent on our wedding.

Erin and her team are absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the day and did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable and happy. Her body of work should speak for itself, by itself, but her personality and professionalism are remarkable and my photos are AMAZING!

Oh my gosh, I can't say enough great things about Erin! She made the whole event for us. Great photography, fast responses - it was like our best friend was photographing our wedding instead of a vendor. She was one of the best parts of our weddings; even gave us 16 photos at the reception that we could take on our honeymoon with us! I don't know all the other photographers in the Indy area, but I am 100% certain that none of them is better than Erin and her team!! I almost wish I could get married again just so I could get to work with her one more time!!

Erin and her team were absolutely amazing! We had to reschedule our engagement shoot at least 5 times because of the weather- I really wanted to have the shoot outside and she was so flexible in making it happen! The day of the wedding, Erin was at the venue before the bridal team arrived from the salon, and they were already shooting the venue, dress, shoes, etc. She was flexible with adding all the additional family pictures that we wanted and made the day relaxed. Her husband and assistant were always there with water, chapstick, etc- which are essential! As the evening went on, I could always find one of them to get a shot of different groups of people I was talking to really quickly. The photographs were received from the day of were absolutely amazing- so many great shots of the venue, us with all our bridal party, friend and family shots, sunset and sparkler photos. We will forever be glad we choose Erin as the photographer for our wedding!

I knew immediately at our first meeting with Erin that I definitely wanted her to be our photographer! She is so organized and has taken the most amazing photographs! When we had our first meeting she already researched what time the sunset would be on our wedding day and was able to create a tentative wedding day photography schedule! She has a few different packages/price points to choose from which was helpful. We chose one with engagement pictures (which also turned out perfect!). She even took photography ideas from my Pinterest board to recreate. Plus we were able to include our dog in our photos which was important to me and my dog LOVED her :) Definitely recommend using Erin and her team for wedding photography!

You could not get a better photographer than Erin Hession. She is warm and unbelievably nice. She puts a schedule together for you and your vendors to ease any stress or confusion. The day of the wedding she was there, along with her husband, sister, and another assistant. They took tons of pictures from all kinds of angles. Made sure we stayed on top of the schedule so that we didn't run late or out of time. She had back ups in case of rain and had all kinds of goodies in their bags for anything and everything that we needed. She commands the attention of the wedding party and families so that everyone is where they need to be when they need to be there, however she does it in a way to ensure that you get all the shots that you want to get. She is also flexible to do things that maybe you didn't think of when you were making the list of ideas of photos that you want. I know I'm forgetting several things she did, but she took a couple thousand pictures so we had tons of options. If you don't know what kind of shots you necessarily want she will do her thing and the pictures come out great. And then at the end of the night she gave us teaser pictures so we got to take 8 pictures from that day with us!!! It was amazing!!!!!! She is worth every penny and then some, and really when its all over all you have are the pictures that can be shared every day. So I think she was completely worth it!!

Where do I begin?? She is truly the BEST in Indianapolis. I was AMAZED by Erin from the very first phone call I had with her. Early on, we drafted a timeline of the day which helped us a TON with the other vendors and knowing how long a photographer was needed. Her organization and helpfulness in the beginning is when I knew she was “the photographer”  She is one BUSY lady, but you would never know! She gets back to you quickly, and spends the time with you to figure out exactly what you want on your day. Not only did she set my mind at ease with some of the planning aspects, but she was SO helpful the day of the wedding. She had everything a Bride would need, and even showed up with starbucks because a photo was on my pinterest board! I don’t know what I would have done without you Erin!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!!!

Erin is phenomenal! Her eye for artistic shots is awesome. We loved our engagement photos and we are WOW'd by our wedding photos that we've seen already! Erin, John and the rest of her team are super organized and so professional. Erin is also one of the sweetest people you will get to meet. It was an instant "you're hired!" when I met Erin for our first meeting. I met with other photographers prior to Erin's meeting, and I was disappointed with the prior photographers- I wanted that "AHA! moment" with my photographer like I had with my dress and venue. I left my meeting with Erin having that "AHA! moment", thinking it would be fun to have her with me for 9 hours on my wedding day and I knew the product she was going to provide would be sensational.

Erin and her crew are OUTSTANDING!!! I am shy in front of the camera and she made everyone - all of my bridesmaids, groomsmen, my husband - EVERYONE feel at ease!! She keeps things moving -- she realizes a timeline is crucial and works in any and all of your needs. Erin is incredibly pleasant and fun to work with! There just isn't enough time to give her all of the praise she deserves!! She is PHENOMENAL!!!! (Not to mention she gives you 8 pictures at the end of the night to see!!!)

Not only does she take amazing photographs but she thinks of everything! I got married out of town and the day of, realized I forgot my garter, but Erin had an extra one in her bag of goodies! And she was able to help lace up my dress when my mom and sister were struggling. She is worth every penny!

Amazing is really an understatement when it comes to Erin and her team. They are so talented and the whole experience they bring to your day is the icing on the cake. They are prepared for everything! They are organized and have walkie-talkies to keep everything coordinated. Highly recommended!

I LOVE HER!!! She knows what she is doing and no one ever leaves dissatisfied!! My cousin used here and I had wanted to, but when I found her we had already found ours and would have lost out on money or I would have switched without question!! She will give you all that and more!! She makes your day that much more special and when you leave gives you a treat!! She prints some pictures out so you can sample some and take them to your honeymoon and be excited to show and get ready for the whole thing!! I love her she is just super nice!!

She told me she was like JLo in the wedding planner, and she was even more amazing. She had water for me, make up blotters, lipstick, pretty much anything I needed, she was ready with it. And the pictures were fantastic. My whole family was talking about how great she was, and her personality was so nice and friendly! I will be using her for any future picture opportunities for my whole family. At the end of the night, she even printed out 6 pictures for me to take home!
