Erin Leigh Photography

Erin was a fun addition to our wedding day and made us feel comfortable taking our wedding photos. She helped us put together a timeline of the day which helped us keep everything flowing smoothly with family and the wedding party. The photos turned out beautiful and we received the copies shortly after getting back from our honeymoon. I love them all and it's hard to choose favorites. My only negatives are 1) that we had taken family photos in the large dark church and wish we had gone outside or somewhere else with better lighting so that the photos would have looked better. Those are the only pictures I got of my family all together and they're dark with lots of shadows. I thought they would be fine, but I wish she would have said they weren't great and suggested moving elsewhere. 2) I wish she would have captured more candid moments of the couple and of the guests... each picture is beautiful, but they were photos I posed for or knew were being taken. I was really looking forward to seeing the memories captured from someone else's perspective like what people were doing while we danced & cut the cake, the couple sharing a smile or kiss or holding hands, or my parent's faces as we said our vows, etc.

Erin does a phenomenal job of capturing each moment of your special day! She is creative, energetic, flexible, and up for pretty much anything you request! I loved her sense of uniqueness and outdoor shots. She fit our style to a tee! We used her for both our engagement and wedding photos and loved every one.

I originally knew Erin from our college years, so it was an easy decision to have her photograph our wedding back in 2011. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that she wouldn't do a great job, but she exceeded my expectations! Every so often I still go through all the photos from our wedding day and I still love every photo. Now that we have grown into a little family, Erin still gets to capture our busy, never sits still, adorable little boy! Even when you think you didn't get a good photo because of an uncooperative toddler, she comes through again with handfuls of amazing pictures that I will cherish forever! If you are looking for a wedding photographer, Erin is your gal! If you are looking for a family photographer, Eris is a great choice! She will be our photographer for life!

I definitely enjoyed working with Erin as my photographer! She was super nice & willing to work with me on what I wanted for my wedding pics. Even when my bridal party & I ended up running late for the start of the pictures before the ceremony, she was still calm & patient when we finally arrived & helped us to still fit in all the pics I was planning on doing. :) ...She did a great job picking great spots for the pictures in the gardens, had plenty of different poses for everyone, & did a great job with our "First Look" pics. :) Most importantly of all, she did a wonderful job with how she took the pictures and edited them, so they ALL turned out beautifully done. (And I'm a picky person. haha) ...She took plenty of pictures for us, too; so overall, the money we paid was worth it. :) She isn't ridiculously expensive like some other photographers, but instead has a fair price for her quality of work. I would definitely recommend her to others and would definitely hire her again if in need of a good photographer again. :) ....The only thing I was SLIGHTLY disappointed with was that she didn't take the time to make sure family members stood together more organized/neatly for the family pics. We just all stood together and she made sure she could see everyone's face in the pics but didn't rearrange anyone. Maybe it was because she thought we were too tight on time for that, because I know I was thinking the same thing: that we needed to hurry up so everyone could get ready for the ceremony soon. But we had a bit more time than we thought. ...Anyways, that was a minor thing, so it doesn't bother me. Overall, I LOVED working with Erin. She was really nice and friendly and did a GREAT job. :D
