My wife and I were unsure of what photographer to go with for our wedding in the Knoxville area. We found Erin and as soon as we spoke to her we could tell she knew what she was doing. After deciding to go with Erin she was able to help us with a plan of getting ready on wedding day to allow for pre wedding pictures and take some of the organizing off of our plate. She was very professional the whole time and made both of us feel at ease. All our pictures turned out great and we couldn't be happier!!

When I first got engaged and started planning, I had no idea on a vision or anything for my wedding. We used Erin for our engagement and wedding photos and it was the best decision we’ve ever made!! Not only is Erin super personable and easy to get along with, she’s also very professional, timely, and just does absolutely amazing work. Erin was A DREAM to work with and we are obsessed with our photos. My husband and I aren’t super naturally photogenic but somehow Erin made sure we looked amazing in every shot. She's also not afraid to sing along to all the early 2000's and 90's throw backs at the reception and have a good time! We truly had a blast with her on our wedding day! We absolutely loved working with Erin and Matthew for our wedding in March 2023. We could not have picked more enjoyable individuals to be present on our big day. From the start, Erin took the time to get to know us as people and a couple, which made the wedding planning process much more enjoyable and as stress-free as possible. After booking our wedding venue, booking our photographer was the next thing we did. We used Erin Morrison Photography for our wedding photos and engagement photos. She was amazing to say the least! Erin has a great personality and she’s so easy to work with. Before we hired her she wanted to chat on the phone to discuss what all she offered and what I was looking for in a photographer. After the call, I knew I wanted her to handle the photography for our wedding and I was so happy she was available. For our engagement pictures, it was just the three of us. My husband and I aren’t great at natural poses. Erin told us what to do, how to pose and our photos turned out great! Everyone loved our engagement photos and they had nothing but great things to say. Erin had a second photographer for wedding and Matthew was great too! He was so fun to work with! We chose to not do a first look so Erin did shots with me and my bridesmaids then with the groom and his groomsmen. Everyone in the wedding party was happy with how fast the photos went! All of the planned photos went so quickly so we were able to get to other wedding festivities. We received our sneak peaks within two weeks of the wedding. Our entire wedding album was delivered within six weeks as promised. The photos were phenomenal and there were so many!! I loved all the shots Erin got including the pictures of our wedding guests. Our friends loved all of our pictures and we can’t wait to get a wedding album done. Since our wedding, I’ve had a few friends ask about our photographer and I was happy to recommend Erin to them. Her experience as a photographer really helped our wedding day go smoothly as far as pictures went. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer.

Erin made everything easy. We came from out of state to elope in the Smokies. It could have been stressful, but Erin knew great spots, knew who to talk to at NPS to get a permit, had an umbrella when it poured, helped me get into my dress, and fixed my veil when it decided to slide down my hair. Her communication was great. We got our gallery in a very timely manner. And our gallery….it’s perfect. There is no other word to describe it. Everything I fell in love with about her style is 100% there and I could not have asked for anything more. Plus she got rain absolutely dumped on her for 3 hours while capturing our day and was still cheerful and amazing to work with.

We hired Erin for our wedding at the Magnolia Venue in Pigeon Forge, TN. I loved her attention to detail and how she really wanted to get to know our personalities before the big day! Erin is the BEST! She is so talented and was so easy to work with. As I was planning our wedding, it was really important to me that I find a photographer that would be understanding of our unique situation. Not only were we having a destination wedding and planning it in the midst of Covid. But we were also going with a venue that had not even been built yet. Needless to say, I was that bride that had a lot of questions. Erin was so easy going about everything and went above and beyond to answer them. Of course on the day of our wedding, the weather wasn't ideal, as it rained most of the day/night. But that didn’t stop Erin from capturing some amazing photos. She also had the best attitude about it and it didn’t even phase her. Erin’s down-to-earth personality really allowed us to enjoy the day and I think that shows within her work. Our photos turned out incredible and she was able to capture some really beautiful moments. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives.

Erin was amazing to work with! We had an issue with another photographer cancelling on us and Erin totally stepped in and blew us away with her amazing skills! Not only did we get great pictures, but she helped me with outfit suggestions ahead of time and made us so comfortable the whole time. Erin was the PERFECT choice for our post-wedding/honeymoon photos! My husband and I are not the best picture takers or posers so we didn’t know what to expect out of our session. THE. BEST. EVER. Words can't fully express how much we love Erin. You just need to book her to experience it yourself! And trust us, you won't be disappointed. But, I'll try to sum it up. From the moment we connected with her, we knew we found the perfect photographer. Right from our initial call, we quickly learned that she is down-to-earth, funny, professional, and so inquisitive about OUR story. We also took a look at her site and fell in love with her style. During our engagement shoot, which we've never really experienced before, we felt at ease with her amazing direction and silly yet very effective prompts/games. I'll add that she even went INTO A RIVER to get a shot for us--and it is by far our favorite photo to this day. Lastly, we were sadly victims of having to reschedule our big celebration due to the corona virus situation. Amidst our panic, Erin became a godsend. She was so accommodating with our constantly changing plans--we ended up pushing out our celebration but still wanted to have a small ceremony on our original day to make it official--and always provided us a sense of positivity and reassurance when we were literally going crazy. So like I said, "THE. BEST. EVER."

We booked Erin for our engagement and wedding after seeing her amazing work in instagram. As two people who hate pictures we were nervous for our engagement shoot, as we thought we would be unbelievably awkward. Erin did an amazing job of making us laugh throughout our entire session our pictures litter our house. We were so bummed when COVID-19 resulted in us postponing our wedding. We found Erin on Instagram and sought out her services because of her quality of photos. From the moment I submitted a request and got the questionnaire back, we were convinced we needed to use her. Erin shot our engagement photos in March and our wedding in October, 2019. Like many have mentioned in previous reviews, I was drawn to Erin’s use of light, nature, and mountain vibes. But, you can see those things for yourself in her work. So, I’ll talk a little about what you might not be able to see by just looking at her photos. Erin has an ability to form honest connection, a genuine desire to help, and a type A level of organization that mitigated so much stress for us. She was always willing to answer questions and point us in the direction of helpful resources. She is passionate and professional. Erin has a true gift for creating and capturing moments. My wife and I went back and forth about hiring a videographer. As the wedding came and went, I was feeling really disappointed that we decided to forgo that expense. No matter how hard you try, it is impossible to be fully present for every moment of your wedding. Without a professional video, I felt like I had missed out on so many moments...until I got our photos back. What I love most about our photos is that they are living, breathing images. You can see the movement, the joy, the fun, and the love in each one. When I look at them, I see the care put into each bouquet of flowers, the tears of laughter rolling down my Man of Honor’s face, and the childlike joy as my Dad does the shoulder roll to Meghan Trainor. Erin is the best, hands down. If you want the best, go with her.

I probably had my heart set on Erin, based solely on her work, before I had ANYTHING else planned or picked out! Then I spoke to her and the ease talking to her, her through and professional manner, AND she was within my budget sold me! SCORE!! I was so nervous about being on the other side of the camera, but that all changed when we met in Cades Cove and we finally got to hang out! It was like hanging out with my two best friends, laughing, catching up, and being on a photography adventure.. all my favorite things! Then came the pictures from our engagement shoot! I was speechless! Being a plus size girl I feared I wouldn’t like me in my pictures. My first thing I do when looking at a pic of me is to pick myself apart and criticize everything about me. Honestly I didn’t know I could look like that! Erin knows all the right angles and flattering poses! She is a true pro at what she does! Our wedding day was completely seamless as far as our photography was concerned! Our second shooter was Freddie with Clint James photography and him and Erin compliment one another very well! They fit in perfectly with our diverse group of family and friends. Seriously it was like we all knew each other for years! They were amazing at catching things I never thought of, and everything I wanted. The artistry and creativity put into our wedding photos leave me speechless! The first time I talked to Erin I told her I wanted someone who could tell the story of our wedding day through photos. We live in Louisiana and got married in Pigeon Forge, TN. So our small intimate destination wedding would also mean some of our loved ones wouldn’t be able to make it. It’s very important to me to share it with them and our generations to come! I am proud to say that I cannot wait to get my album made and share it with everyone. I truly had a storybook wedding, and will have a perfect storybook to share it with everyone because of Erin! My number one going into the wedding planning process was my photographer! I’m so thankful to say mine did not disappoint! Erin even gave me advice on other wedding planning things! From the beginning of our wedding planning process we knew that our photographer was probably the most important vendor to us. I knew that I wanted someone who would be able to take photos that transport us back to the moment and truly encapsulate what we were feeling. When I found Erin’s work I was immediately transfixed by the way she captures not only light and surroundings but of course her couples! I can be the first to admit that I’m not the most photogenic but she I could tell in her portfolio that she is able to get people to feel comfortable and natural. No awkward posing here. Her easy-going nature made our engagement shoot fly by and she made us feel so at ease even with a camera in front of us. She has lots of tricks up her sleeve to get some great giggles and movements out of anyone! Fast forward to our wedding day! A VERY humid, very hot August day. It even rained on our ceremony and we had to wait it out and start again! With that said, Erin and her second shooter Brittany didn’t let that phase them even though I was a bit flustered. We just received our gallery back (way faster than I was expecting!) and I am obsessed! There are so many great shots and it’s so hard to pick favorites! Even those it was so hot and humid Erin captures the light in a way to make it looks like a bright and breezy day! Her style is so natural and intimate. You can really feel the emotion in her images and looking through them really does make us want to relive the day over and over! These photographs will transport us back to our wedding for years to come!!

Erin is truly an incredible photographer and person. She is so talented and you can see that in the photos that she captures. Communication was important to me throughout the wedding planning process and Erin was extremely quick to respond whenever I had any questions or needed any recommendations.. We got married in the Smoky Mountains and she was licensed to take photos there and provided recommendations of other vendors who were and knew the area as well to make the day run smoothly. We loved having her capture our engagement photos and wedding photos. My fiance hates getting photos taken and she made us both feel so comfortable. My wedding photographer was my number 1 important decision. Erin was the best investment we made throughout our wedding process! She was the first vendor I knew I had to have, and actually she helped me pick out so many of my other vendors because that is how much I trusted her judgement, and how dedicated she is to making sure you have the best experience possible. Drew and I grew up in the mountains, and they mean a lot to our relationship. So having a photographer who is licensed in the Smokies to take our engagement pictures was the best thing we could have imagined…and man were our engagement pictures EPIC. I was so worried about pictures, mostly because I am generally really awkward and never know how to pose myself- but Erin does the best job of making everything feel so natural and fun! Which pays off because NONE of our pictures look posed or fake. They all show the adventurous, fun loving side of us which is exactly what we wanted. It also helps that Erin is actually hilarious herself, so you want to laugh and be happy around her. Not to mention on our wedding day, she made the picture process for us and our wedding party again like a funny game, rather than the dreaded posed pictures that everyone (especially the boys) hate. She captured the most real, intimate, enjoyable moments we had that day. Honestly I feel like our pictures could be on the covers of magazines- sometimes I can’t even believe they are pictures of Drew and I because of how epically amazing they are. We LOVED Erin!!! She answered all of my questions before the engagement shoot and I was really excited about taking our pics. I don't think of myself as being very photogenic, but we did so many different poses, scenes and played fun games that I didn't even think about that. Once the pics came back, I got even more excited for the wedding day. The day of the wedding, she was easy to work with, kept things light and fun and was just a great complement to everything else going on! We just got our pics back this week and we are having a hard time deciding which ones we want to get printed. Pick Erin! You won't regret it!

Erin was exactly what I needed for my destination wedding in the Smokies! I was worried when booking all my vendors and being 3 states away, but Erin was an excellent communicator, available and willing to answer all questions. She really made sure she understood our style and expectations before the big day. On the day of our wedding, Erin and her second shooter were there early and knew the venue well to get the best shots. She helped keep our unruly bridal party moving along through the day and captured every candid moment I wanted. She had ‘sneak peek’ images ready for me in about 4 days and had our entire collection of photos done within 3 weeks!!! I was so impressed with the quality of pictures, I actually couldn’t believe how reasonable her prices were for the quality, skill, and time Erin and her second shooter spent on us! Erin was fantastic to work with. We had an engagement shoot (included in our package) and it was a great opportunity to get to know her photography style a bit. She's very easy to be around and composed some really great photos. She was very punctual with getting our sneak peeks and full albums back to us. After we received our full wedding album, I had some questions about printing photos and she responded immediately even though she was on vacation! We loved our photos and would hire Erin again in a heartbeat.

Erin Morrison was the first vendor I chose for my wedding I found her before the venue. The Photographerwas my number one “must have” and number one on my list of vendors. Her photos are spectacular. From our initial contact, she was extremely responsive and professional not to mention understanding with working with the weather😊 Her spunk enthusiasm, passion for what she does is evident in her pictures. My husband was worried about feeling awkward for our engagement shoots and so shy in front of the camera but because of how she made him feel it was a breeze and a BLAST. He even said that was so fun. She arrived on time the day of the wedding, and again so FUN to work with! With both sides having divorces and remarried we had a lot of pics to cover, she made sure all that was a breeze and calm had it all in order to make it go so much faster. She is a joy to work with and has the eye to capture more than the average photographers eye. All my pictures came back quicker than she said they would and that was a huge bonus! Lol. I’ve received so many compliments on all our pictures and not to mention getting to relive my day through the pictures. Can’t wait for the next big day I will need her ☺️

Erin Morrison Photography. What can I even say? So friendly, so fun, so talented. When I first met Erin, right off the bat I could tell that she was a genuine person. She made my husband and me feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which is a feat for 2 awkward people like us. :) Erin had all these fun games for us to play in front of the camera, so it didn't even feel like there was any pressure for us to look good. It was just a natural response to things we were already doing. Besides her welcoming personality, Erin is freaking TALENTED. My friends keep on commenting on how amazing they think my engagement and wedding photos are. It's because Erin doesn't just capture a wedding; she captures real emotions. We found Erin on Wedding Wire, and she really stood out to us from the hundreds of other wedding photographers because her photos had real emotion in them. Each one was so artistic. Additionally, she is very fair in her pricing. She included both engagement and wedding photos in our package; the price was incredibly reasonable, and she included rights to all the photos in the package. This last bit was incredibly important to us, because some photographers make you pay hundreds of extra dollars to give you rights to full resolution pictures. Erin doesn't do that, and that's because she knows that these are moments from YOUR wedding and YOUR life. I could say so many more fantastic things about Erin, but I hope you will take my word for it when I say that she is authentic, kind, funny, patient, talented, and down-to-earth. You really should consider booking Erin for your engagement, wedding, or any other milestone event. She will give you photos that you'll treasure for a lifetime.

Erin was amazing and very professional along every step of our wedding not to mention her photos are beautiful. We used her for both our engagement photos and for our wedding photos.
