We cannot thank Erin enough for truly capturing our wedding day (10.6.24) and the love my husband and I have for each other. She set herself apart from other photographers due to her candid style, natural lighting, and the use of movement within her photos. Some of our favorite photos are of us on spinning, dancing, or simply just walking. She makes you feel at ease and gives you great directions if you feel awkward. She allows you to make suggestions of what you would like to see and always has her eye on the light. She is such a kind soul and truly loves what she does. Erin and Matthew were amazing!! Erin was communicative leading up to our big day and was so helpful providing suggestions while also being flexible to our needs/wants. The cabin we got married at was not really scenic, so we discussed beforehand that we’d go offsite for photos - they helped us choose a great location and captured unique moments with us and our entire party. She and Matthew helped us make the most of our scheduled photo time being so organized and efficient, and they were fully accepting of us just being ourselves the entire time. They were super professional but also so fun!! We got our photos back in a timely manner and couldn’t be happier with them. In addition to the great experience we had with her during planning and the day-of, she is clearly very skilled behind-the-scenes and we love her editing style. Erin communicated with me from booking with her 8 months before the wedding. She sent emails through those 8 months with different tips and questions to get to know us. She was very efficient getting through our family photos and then knew all of the hidden spots to take pictures near the venue. We just received some sneak peak photos and I am in love with every single one of them. I can’t wait to see the rest!

My wife and I were unsure of what photographer to go with for our wedding in the Knoxville area. We found Erin and as soon as we spoke to her we could tell she knew what she was doing. After deciding to go with Erin she was able to help us with a plan of getting ready on wedding day to allow for pre wedding pictures and take some of the organizing off of our plate. We used Erin for our engagement and wedding photos and it was the best decision we’ve ever made!! Not only is Erin super personable and easy to get along with, she’s also very professional, timely, and just does absolutely amazing work. Erin was A DREAM to work with and we are obsessed with our photos. My husband and I aren’t super naturally photogenic but somehow Erin made sure we looked amazing in every shot. After booking our wedding venue, booking our photographer was the next thing we did. We used Erin Morrison Photography for our wedding photos and engagement photos. She was amazing to say the least! Erin has a great personality and she’s so easy to work with. Before we hired her she wanted to chat on the phone to discuss what all she offered and what I was looking for in a photographer. After the call, I knew I wanted her to handle the photography for our wedding and I was so happy she was available. For our engagement pictures, it was just the three of us. My husband and I aren’t great at natural poses. Erin told us what to do, how to pose and our photos turned out great! Everyone loved our engagement photos and they had nothing but great things to say. Erin had a second photographer for wedding and Matthew was great too! He was so fun to work with! We chose to not do a first look so Erin did shots with me and my bridesmaids then with the groom and his groomsmen. Everyone in the wedding party was happy with how fast the photos went! All of the planned photos went so quickly so we were able to get to other wedding festivities. We received our sneak peaks within two weeks of the wedding. Our entire wedding album was delivered within six weeks as promised. The photos were phenomenal and there were so many!! I loved all the shots Erin got including the pictures of our wedding guests. Our friends loved all of our pictures and we can’t wait to get a wedding album done. Since our wedding, I’ve had a few friends ask about our photographer and I was happy to recommend Erin to them. Her experience as a photographer really helped our wedding day go smoothly as far as pictures went. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer.

Erin made everything easy. We came from out of state to elope in the Smokies. It could have been stressful, but Erin knew great spots, knew who to talk to at NPS to get a permit, had an umbrella when it poured, helped me get into my dress, and fixed my veil when it decided to slide down my hair. Her communication was great. We got our gallery in a very timely manner. And our gallery….it’s perfect. There is no other word to describe it. Everything I fell in love with about her style is 100% there and I could not have asked for anything more. Plus she got rain absolutely dumped on her for 3 hours while capturing our day and was still cheerful and amazing to work with.

Erin is the BEST! She is so talented and was so easy to work with. As I was planning our wedding, it was really important to me that I find a photographer that would be understanding of our unique situation. Not only were we having a destination wedding and planning it in the midst of Covid. But we were also going with a venue that had not even been built yet. Needless to say, I was that bride that had a lot of questions. Erin was so easy going about everything and went above and beyond to answer them. Of course on the day of our wedding, the weather wasn't ideal, as it rained most of the day/night. But that didn’t stop Erin from capturing some amazing photos. She also had the best attitude about it and it didn’t even phase her. Erin’s down-to-earth personality really allowed us to enjoy the day and I think that shows within her work. Our photos turned out incredible and she was able to capture some really beautiful moments. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives.

Erin was the PERFECT choice for our post-wedding/honeymoon photos! My husband and I are not the best picture takers or posers so we didn’t know what to expect out of our session. THE. BEST. EVER. Words can't fully express how much we love Erin. You just need to book her to experience it yourself! And trust us, you won't be disappointed. But, I'll try to sum it up. From the moment we connected with her, we knew we found the perfect photographer. Right from our initial call, we quickly learned that she is down-to-earth, funny, professional, and so inquisitive about OUR story. We also took a look at her site and fell in love with her style. During our engagement shoot, which we've never really experienced before, we felt at ease with her amazing direction and silly yet very effective prompts/games. I'll add that she even went INTO A RIVER to get a shot for us--and it is by far our favorite photo to this day. Lastly, we were sadly victims of having to reschedule our big celebration due to the corona virus situation. Amidst our panic, Erin became a godsend. She was so accommodating with our constantly changing plans--we ended up pushing out our celebration but still wanted to have a small ceremony on our original day to make it official--and always provided us a sense of positivity and reassurance when we were literally going crazy. So like I said, "THE. BEST. EVER."

We booked Erin for our engagement and wedding after seeing her amazing work in instagram. As two people who hate pictures we were nervous for our engagement shoot, as we thought we would be unbelievably awkward. Erin did an amazing job of making us laugh throughout our entire session our pictures litter our house. We were so bummed when COVID-19 resulted in us postponing our wedding. We found Erin on Instagram and sought out her services because of her quality of photos. From the moment I submitted a request and got the questionnaire back, we were convinced we needed to use her. Erin shot our engagement photos in March and our wedding in October, 2019. Like many have mentioned in previous reviews, I was drawn to Erin’s use of light, nature, and mountain vibes. But, you can see those things for yourself in her work. So, I’ll talk a little about what you might not be able to see by just looking at her photos. Erin has an ability to form honest connection, a genuine desire to help, and a type A level of organization that mitigated so much stress for us. She was always willing to answer questions and point us in the direction of helpful resources. She is passionate and professional. Erin has a true gift for creating and capturing moments. My wife and I went back and forth about hiring a videographer. As the wedding came and went, I was feeling really disappointed that we decided to forgo that expense. No matter how hard you try, it is impossible to be fully present for every moment of your wedding. Without a professional video, I felt like I had missed out on so many moments...until I got our photos back. What I love most about our photos is that they are living, breathing images. You can see the movement, the joy, the fun, and the love in each one. When I look at them, I see the care put into each bouquet of flowers, the tears of laughter rolling down my Man of Honor’s face, and the childlike joy as my Dad does the shoulder roll to Meghan Trainor. Erin is the best, hands down. If you want the best, go with her.

I probably had my heart set on Erin, based solely on her work, before I had ANYTHING else planned or picked out! Then I spoke to her and the ease talking to her, her through and professional manner, AND she was within my budget sold me! SCORE!! I was so nervous about being on the other side of the camera, but that all changed when we met in Cades Cove and we finally got to hang out! It was like hanging out with my two best friends, laughing, catching up, and being on a photography adventure.. all my favorite things! Then came the pictures from our engagement shoot! I was speechless! Being a plus size girl I feared I wouldn’t like me in my pictures. My first thing I do when looking at a pic of me is to pick myself apart and criticize everything about me. Honestly I didn’t know I could look like that! Erin knows all the right angles and flattering poses! She is a true pro at what she does! Our wedding day was completely seamless as far as our photography was concerned! Our second shooter was Freddie with Clint James photography and him and Erin compliment one another very well! They fit in perfectly with our diverse group of family and friends. Seriously it was like we all knew each other for years! They were amazing at catching things I never thought of, and everything I wanted. The artistry and creativity put into our wedding photos leave me speechless! The first time I talked to Erin I told her I wanted someone who could tell the story of our wedding day through photos. We live in Louisiana and got married in Pigeon Forge, TN. So our small intimate destination wedding would also mean some of our loved ones wouldn’t be able to make it. It’s very important to me to share it with them and our generations to come! I am proud to say that I cannot wait to get my album made and share it with everyone. I truly had a storybook wedding, and will have a perfect storybook to share it with everyone because of Erin!
