Essex Club

Our wedding so so wonderful and we truly couldn’t have done it without the Essex Club. They were nothing but helpful, kind, and organized. When I didn’t know what to do, Jessica was right there to help me. Truly a wonderful and beautiful venue. We look forward to returning for future events. 

From the moment we toured The Essex Club, we knew we were in great hands. One of the biggest reasons for that was Jessica. She worked with us from our very first tour through booking, planning, & all the way to our wedding day. Having the same person with us throughout the entire process made such a difference, and the continuity was something we truly appreciated. Whenever we weren't sure about something, Jessica always had thoughtful recommendations for food, décor, & other details that helped bring our vision to life. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. When our unity candle arrived broken, she was determined to find a workaround because she knew how important that moment was to us. She even answered emails on her days off—something we never expected but appreciated so much. She consistently went above and beyond, and we always felt supported every step of the way. What impressed us just as much was that Jessica's care didn't stop after the wedding. She even checked in with us afterward, which honestly surprised us in the best way. It truly showed us how important every single couple is to her and how much time, care, & effort she invests in making each wedding special. The chef and kitchen staff also deserve so much recognition. We had multiple guests with complicated food allergies, including myself, and they took such incredible care to ensure everyone was safe & could enjoy their meal. Knowing our guests were in such good hands gave us so much peace of mind. They were even able to accommodate gluten-free versions of all the entrées we selected, which meant so much to our guests & us. The entire staff was outstanding. Our bridal attendant was absolutely amazing; she was always one step ahead, anticipating what we needed before we even had to ask. Whether it was fixing my dress, grabbing a drink, or helping with the little details throughout the day, she made everything feel effortless. The waitstaff was equally incredible, especially the captain, who went above & beyond to make sure the entire evening ran smoothly. Our maître d', Rob, was equally fantastic. We unexpectedly got married on a record-breaking hot day, & despite the extreme heat, everything ran so smoothly. Before our outdoor ceremony, the staff handed out cold towels to our guests to help keep everyone comfortable, which was such a thoughtful touch & so appreciated. Rob made sure everything stayed on schedule & handled every detail seamlessly. After the wedding, when I came back to pick up our décor, Rob even helped me load everything into my car. It was another example of how genuinely kind and caring everyone at The Essex Club is. We've received countless compliments about the food since our wedding. So many guests have told us it was the best wedding food they've ever had, which says a lot because wedding food doesn't always have the best reputation! We've also had several engaged couples tell us they're planning to inquire about The Essex Club for their own weddings because they were so impressed with the venue, the service, and the overall experience. We truly cannot recommend The Essex Club enough. Every single person we interacted with made us feel cared for, & they helped create a wedding day that exceeded every expectation. We are so grateful to Jessica, Rob, the chef & kitchen staff, our bridal attendant, the waitstaff, and everyone else who made our day absolutely perfect.
