Omg!! I couldn’t be more happier with the staffs and vendors from Essex club! We got the complete wedding package and Jessica, venue coordinator was so responsive with all my questions, Jessica all communicated with the vendors for transportation and delivery so the week before my wedding was extremely smooth. Bob , maitre d was amazing and so organized, all the staffs were nice!!! Julissa, bridal attendant was with me all throughout the night doing everything I requested. The in-house vendors was so professional and experienced!!!! I hope I can host another party at Essex club whether it’s gender reveal or baby shower!!! 😍😍😍😍

Our Wedding at The Essex Club We recently held our wedding at The Essex Club and overall had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing delicious and beautifully presented. We had 135 guests, including ourselves, but the maître d’ told us we had 138. We know for a fact three people did not show up, yet we didn’t receive the meals for those three absent guests. Considering how good the food was and that we had paid for those meals it was a bit disappointing and confusing. Our maître d’, Rob, was very kind and hardworking; we truly appreciated his efforts throughout the night. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved. Despite asking in advance for food service to begin earlier, it was served much later than requested. Some small details we’d discussed ahead of time with both Jessica (the manager) and Rob such as how programs and wands would be distributed at the ceremony ended up being handled differently, and we had many left over. In addition, some details were missed: for example, the team didn’t realize we had a sand ceremony planned and had to set it up at the last minute. These issues were all handled on the spot, but they did add some stress. Another area to note is clarity around policies and fees. During booking, we were told a lot was possible, but closer to the event there were additional charges or timing restrictions for decorating or requesting certain set-ups. The administration fee also felt a bit confusing. Jessica, the manager, did kindly allow me to decorate the ceiling; however, it had to be completed within a specific time frame, otherwise I would have been charged extra. Finally, although we had an open bar, our signature drink required us to supply the alcohol ourselves because the venue did not carry it. A small gesture like providing it for us would have gone a long way and left us feeling even more taken care of. Overall, The Essex Club is a beautiful venue with great food and a hardworking staff. With a bit more consistency, organization, and flexibility on details, it could easily provide an exceptional experience for future couples.

We just got married at the Essex Club over the labor day weekend, it was an amazing wedding from beginning to end. The staff was very professional and attentive, they ensured that everything went smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious, all of my guest enjoyed everything and so did we. I couldn't have been more pleased.

The Essex Club was the perfect, affordable venue for our intimate 80 person wedding. The space is warm and inviting, and the in-house decor goes a long way toward transforming the room. Jessica, the general venue manager, and her team were absolutely exceptional, clear, responsive, and organized, making the whole process so easy. She walked us through the included vendors at every step, and we were thrilled with the results: a gorgeous, delicious cake and beautiful photos, especially on the golf course with the trees and lush green hills. The food was phenomenal, and our guests are still raving. Highly recommend!

The Essex Club is hands down the best venue to have your wedding! From the beautiful ambiance to the incredible team that made everything feel so stress-free, it was truly a dream. The vendors they recommended were top-notch, and Jessica was amazing—always available to answer any questions I had. My husband & I got married at the Essex Club on March 29, 2025. From the moment we stepped foot in the venue, we knew it was the place for us. Jessica, was incredible to work with, extremely attentive to tailoring our individual needs to our wedding reception and ensured a seamless planning process on the venue & vendor package front. Rob (maître d) & Jancy (bridal attendant) were hands down the best & most helpful the day of our wedding. The Essex Club staff & venue was a well oiled machine filled with team work to ensure smooth sailing throughout pre-cocktail hour pictures, cocktail hour, reception & after party. They were extremely responsive & accommodating to our family members, bridal party & guests. We truly feel this place is a hidden gem & do not have enough wonderful words to say about it. The food was delicious (confirmed by multiple guests), the drinks were flowing & the dance floor was rockin’ (Absolute DJ). Our photographer & cinematographer capture the magic of the day and venue, thanks Focus Studios. The entire staff at The Essex Club made sure my husband & I had that absolute best day of our lives & the we did. We will forever treasure the greatness of it all.

We had the most incredible experience at Essex Club. From the start, the general manager, Jessica Dobbins, was an absolute gem—helpful, calm, and so approachable. She offered fantastic advice every step of the way, answering all our questions and ensuring everything ran smoothly. On the big day, Rob, the maitre d’, went above and beyond. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—he handled every detail with such professionalism and care. Before the reception began, he walked me through everything to ensure it went exactly as I envisioned. Jancy, the bridal attendant, was amazing too. She greeted me the moment I stepped out of the limo and took care of me all night long. Whether it was offering drinks or fixing my dress, she made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The venue looked gorgeous when we walked in and saw it set up for our wedding! We brought some of our own decor which was placed beautifully all around, and there was also some decor provided that brought every detail together! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food was, both during cocktail hour and the main course. The entire staff was welcoming, happy, and truly made our day feel extra special. We would absolutely return for another event, and I can’t recommend this venue enough!

Nothing beats the essex club! From the beginning to the end Jessica was almost like an angel from above! Any questions no matter how stupid or how silly she always responded! Rob was amazing and Jancey was literally an angel! I would get married again just to have it there and will definitely be having my baby shower there! Even from the beginning where it was all new to us and every step of the way they were there to help!! From the beginning with booking the venue with Jessica, through the entire process of planning, to the very end of the evening with packing up- all staff were absolutely amazing to work with! The venue was decorated so beautifully! I can’t think of one thing I would have changed!

Our reception on 7/27/24 was amazing. It was the most magical day of our lives! The food and drinks were awesome and the decorations were arranged perfectly. The maitre’d Rob and bridal attendant Jancy were great as well!! We would like to thank Jessica for all of her help and communication leading up to our special day. We also appreciated her arranging the flowers on our cake! She and the rest of the staff were wonderful and we are truly grateful for everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Booking our wedding at the Essex Club was truly a perfect experience. From beginning to end the communication was phenomenonal, the professionalism and courteousness of the staff was top notch and they really made our wedding better than we imagined. I had my wedding in July 2024! Throughout over a year of planning the communication and professionalism were both top tier. Our coordinator Jessica always ensured our questions were met and the whole crew made our night perfect. The staff was SO fun and it truly is a hidden gem! I couldn’t recommend Essex club enough !

I hosted my wedding on June 21st, 2024 at Essex Club and can't think of another place to do it. The service was exceptional from beginning to end, and the price was affordable. The manager was excellent at helping us stay on track and provided helpful advice leading towards the wedding. The management also ensured the cake, flowers, flower wall, decorations etc., were on time. The maitre d and bridal attendant provided by the venues were live savers. They helped me through the wedding and guided me through the whole process. Let me give you some examples of how efficient they were. My videographer was leaving early, so the matre d ensured I cut the cake early so the videographer could film it. He also helped us rehearse before the wedding so everything was planned out. My dress broke during the reception, and the bridal attendant sewed in. Thank you, Essex, for the Amazing work. I highly recommend Essex to anyone searching for exceptional service. - Katherine A.

If you are looking for a venue that is absolutely beautiful without spending a down payment on a house check them out! My husband and I toured 7-10 venues before deciding to tour this place and once we did we both knew we were choosing here. We had a small 107 people wedding because anything more just seemed like too much. We had seen the venue set up a week before for a 140 person wedding and it was so nicely done. This venue offers everything and then some. Beautiful separate cocktail hour rooms (unlike some of the venues we visited that were double the money). Reception room was spread out and so nice! A gazebo area for guests to hang out and take cute pictures. The bartenders were on point with every drink and the food was amazing! The staff was beyond great, so attentive and responsive whenever needed. Their vendors were super convenient and very affordable. All in all I am so glad we chose this venue. It doesn’t get talked about enough and frankly I don’t know why. It is one of the nicest venues I have been to and didn’t make me feel like I was going broke. Take a tour and see what they can truly offer you!

There are no real words to express how much this venue really impressed me we have done a few events with them before and they have always delivered but when we decided to hold our wedding we really got to see how incredible they really were Jessica Robert and Jansi where absolutely perfect, kind, attentive, it feels like in many ways they became a part of our family and we truly couldn’t be more grateful for everything they have done for us the food was incredible best i have ever had. All the staff was very friendly and appreciative. This is really the only stop for events and weddings We have been frequenting The Essex Club for the last several years. We run small gatherings for our friends on a yearly basis. The thought of having our wedding there had always seemed an unattainable goal in our minds until Robert came to us with everything we'd need to get that done. We were blown away at the deals that were offered, and overnight what had become a distant dream of getting married became something actually obtainable due to the very fair prices and arrangements that the Essex club offered. They were with us every step of the way all the way from hiring the photographer, hiring the florist, hiring the bakery, and even hiring the DJ. They even hosted open nights to try out the various appetizers and food choices that were available to us! From day one, this venue has always had our best interests in mind. It's why we've been coming back to them for years. They aren't just looking to get the maximum amount of money from you, and it's refreshing in this day and age to find a venue that not only cares that your event goes off without a hitch, but really makes you feel like you're valued members of their family. Robert and the rest of the staff of this venue stand head and shoulders above any other venue for this quality. If we could get married twice, we'd do it here a second time. EVERYONE told us that something goes wrong on the wedding day. Not ours. Essex Club was perfect. Flawless even. The food was also incredible and they went out of their way to accommodate us if we needed to make any changes or substitutions. If you're looking for a venue, give this place a visit. We made memories at this venue that will be with us for the rest of our lives, and we hope that you can make memories like ours too.

I had my wedding at Essex Club on 12/1/23 and cannot stop wishing I was reliving my wedding day just as it was! Everything worked out perfectly and Essex Club played the biggest part in that. From the moment my now husband and I stepped into the venue about a year ago up until our wedding night, Jessica could not have been more helpful, honest, and easy to work with. She was always willing to answer my hundreds of questions and give me an honest opinion. My maitre d, Rob, was the absolute BEST! My husband and family agree. My bridal attendant, Anna, was right beside me any time my bustle was down or my drink was empty. My friends and family all echoed positive sentiment… the food was great, the decor was great, everything came together so beautifully. I can’t recommend the Essex Club and their staff enough. They made our wedding!

ESSEX CLUB IS 100/100 I had the best experience with them. Jessica is a sweet heart and she helped us and answered every question or concern we had. Our maitre D Rob took care of everything and everything ran smoothly. My bridal attendant Jancy was so attentive. She fixed my bustle immediately when my sister accidentally popped it . She always made sure I looked perfect for photos. The Venue was decorated beautifully! I couldn’t have been any happier . It was the best day of my life. The food was to die for. The day we walked into Essex and met Jessica the stress release I felt from all our wedding ups and downs so far was amazing. From the moment we met Jessica I knew it was meant to be. Jessica made the entire planning process easy, simple and stress free! The day of the wedding the entire staff was accommodating and so beyond sweet! The maître d’ Rob and my bridal attendant Jansi, made everything go so smoothly the day of and we didn’t have to worry about anything. When my fiancé got there early afternoon (since he was using the bridal suite to get ready) we wanted to add additional candles around our guest book etc for the atmosphere, as soon as he brought it to Robs attention, they added the candles right away and then touched base with us as soon as we got there after the ceremony to make sure everything was perfect before cocktail hour. The night was amazing, everyone can’t stop talking about the food and how beautiful everything was set up! We would not have changed a thing at all! Take a chance on this venue, I’m so glad we ended up here because I couldn’t have imagined our wedding anywhere else.

Oh my god. I don’t think there are really any words that can describe how amazing my wedding was here. All of the vendors were amazing and communicated perfectly. Jessica was so amazing and made planning and everything so easy. She dealt with me constantly emailing her a million and one questions, my guest count changing for 4 days straight. She helped me with everything, and I left her with a list of how I wanted the decorations set up and they exceeded my expectations. Rob made sure everything went so smoothly wedding day, he was constantly communicating with us on what was happening and always made sure we were okay and was always there to answer any questions we had. Such a sweetheart and calmed me down a bunch before my first look. Jancy, my heart. She really was a rockstar, held my dress and veil the entire time while we were taking pictures, she had a whole platter of food ready for us in the bridal suite with our favorite drinks. She always made sure me and my husband had food and drinks during the reception. She even surprised us and gave us a sample platter of all 3 foods we chose. I was so happy with everything and it made my day so memorable. Everyone has been contacting us saying how amazing the wedding was and I cannot thank you all enough.

My wedding was amazing!! I’m so grateful for Jessica and Lauren helping me out with planning everything and making it a very stress-free planning period. Rob and Anna were as amazing and extremely helpful during the actual wedding day, they made me feel comfortable and confident which allowed us to enjoy our wedding to the fullest. I’m also so thankful for the catering staff at the Essex club who provided us and our guests with delicious food! The venue itself is charming with the gazebo and outdoor tent for the cocktail hour.

I just had my daughters bridal shower at The Essex Club. From the second I walked in to look at this venue until the party ended Lauren was absolutely fantastic. She is amazing. So friendly and accommodating and helpful. We had a brunch. The food was so good all of my guests commented that food was delicious. The presentation was perfect. The staff was so super friendly and always smiling and attentive. I have had many parties and I have to say having such a happy vibe from every single person working made an unbelievable experience for all of my guests. People are still talking about the shower. The entire party my matre’d was spot on. Setting up, serving food, helping guests, helping at my flower bar and just coordinating everything in such a warm and friendly way. Everything was perfect. I truly can not say enough.

Driving back home the day after the wedding and i had to write this review immediatley after such an amazing experience. The essex club is beautiful and the staff were all pleasant, professional, and attentive. Jessica was great throughout the planning process. Rob (maitre d) and Jancy (bridal attendent) were so good to work with and were very personable and helpful. My guests all raved about the food. The vibes were immaculate. I highly highly recommend having your wedding here.. everything was perfect. Day couldnt have been smoother. This venue was truly a gem and the wedding couldnt have been better. Our wedding at Essex Club went off without a hitch and our guests had a great time! The level of service and attention to detail from the entire team was above and beyond our expectations. Guests LOVED the cocktail hour and dinner, compliments to the servers and chefs. Special shout out to the team (especially Jessica, Rob and Jancie) for their willingness to help and pivot to our hectic schedule. We knew it was our venue when we met with Jessica on day 1 and she helped us envision what our day would look like. They truly delivered! We would recommend this venue to any bride/groom looking to wed in Long Island. The venue is beautiful but the experience/customer service is what really makes it!

We just had our wedding at the Essex Club and it was A DREAM! We did the full package including photos, cake, limo, and flowers. We just subbed a band for the DJ they would normally provide. Everything was PERFECT. Jessica and Lauren were our point people, and they were on their game. Our Maitre D Rob was the best. Our bridal assistant Cindy was incredible. The servers, bartenders, chef and BOH staff... all 10/10. The food was great! Recommend the shortrib, chick asiago and mahi mains... chicken and waffles / pulled pork apps. It actually poured rain on our special day, but that didn't deter ANYONE, and in fact, it may have even made it more fun. Honestly, I can't imagine it being better. The Essex Club and everyone involved get's our full endorsement. THANK YOU!!!
