We used Ester Cobe Photography for both our engagement and our wedding photos, and they were wonderful. Molly and Mary made us both feel comfortable while taking our photos which made all the difference! Our wedding pictures are absolutely lovely and I would not change them for the world! I loved working with Mary and Molly for our wedding and engagement photos--so much so, that my husband and I just booked a session to take a Christmas card photo with our new puppy! Having the two of them taking photos means that 1) you get great, entertaining sister banter while they shoot, which definitely helps you relax!, 2) they get amazing, creative shots that you couldn't get with a single photographer. The Ester Cobe ladies did an absolutely stunning job capturing our love story. They conducted a very silly and fun engagement session for us in Ann Arbor. We loved the pictures, and Molly and Mary were both so friendly and easy to work with. On our wedding, the ladies blew me away. We are so thrilled that we chose Ester Cobe Photography to capture our wedding day in a way we can revisit those moments in time and feel the emotion. They made our engagement session special by choosing new locations to tell our story in an otherwise familiar setting of Downtown Ann Arbor, and it was a TON of fun too! Our engagement pictures turned out fantastic and we were able to incorporate them into the backdrop of our wedding, even with a relatively short engagement. It was great to see them work together before our wedding, because my now husband, Ryan, is not a huge fan of having his photo taken and by the day of the wedding he was much more comfortable knowing them as individuals and how they work together. They gave great direction to capture our somewhat gleeful bridal party and to catch portraits in the right light.I absolutely LOVE their attention to detail, the way they play with light and capture moments in their purest form whenever possible. The care they took to capture the images we wanted...and the ones we didn't know we wanted at the time...is something we will always treasure. I'm not so secretly addicted to viewing every album they ever post...including our wedding photos...which have not only blown us away but have captured the hearts of our friends and family to commemorate our magical wedding day with their beautiful, artistic style. Their images are truly timeless and we could not have selected a better team to freeze our wedding day in time for us!

Ester Cobe was my first choice for our wedding photos. They did my sister's wedding as well, so I knew they would be wonderful. Mary and Molly were exactly what we needed on our wedding day - friendly and funny, they put everyone at their ease. They were also great advocates for us, and helped us get the photos they knew we wanted. They were incredibly generous with their time, staying to get all of the best moments throughout the reception. Before the day itself, they were equally accommodating. They allowed us to tailor our list of "must have" shots to take out the ones we didn't care to have (photos of things) and scribble in the ones we did (candids of guests). Their feedback helped us schedule out the day, which was invaluable for a DIY bride like myself. They were able to get all of the photos we wanted during the darkest time of year - mid-January! And, finally, our photos are stunning. Everyone who sees them gasps and sighs. Ester Cobe perfectly captured the glowing, romantic, winter day when we wed. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

I loved Ester Cobe Photography! They really worked with me on the kind of pictures I wanted and captured my wedding beautifully! On the day of they were so unobtrusive you barely noticed they were there but they somehow managed to get perfect lyrical candid pictures! I would choose them again in a heartbeat :)
