I’m Esther Griffin, a Savannah wedding photographer specializing in elegant, emotion-forward celebrations. I photograph in Savannah and throughout the Low Country, including Charleston, Bluffton, Sea Island, and St. Simons Island. I also travel around the U.S., and on occasion, internationally.
Trained as a journalist, I shoot a refined mix of digital and film, using both modern and vintage photography equipment. My work focuses on emotional storytelling, refined details and celebrations designed with care.
My approach is calm and intuitive. I give space for moments to unfold naturally, with a full-circle awareness that extends beyond the obvious moments. While one grand moment is happening, countless others are unfolding around it: a glance exchanged, a breath held, a tear brushed away.
My goal is simple: to preserve your wedding weekend with clarity, warmth and intention - so years from now, you don't just remember how it looked, but how deeply it was felt.

On the day of our wedding, Esther was absolutely amazing! She took some lovely bridal portraits, first look & ceremony photos, as well as gorgeous photos around Savannah.

Our wedding venue told us 4 months before our wedding date that they would not be able to accommodate as many guests as they had originally promised us (we had already invited the max amount of guests). We did an engagement mini session before the wedding which helped us get to know each other and I think it helped make the wedding day smooth and personal.
