Hi, I’m Esther! I’m the photographer behind Esther Ruth Photo, based in Phoenix, Arizona and photographing weddings throughout Arizona and wherever they take me. I specialize in wedding and couples photography on both digital and 35mm film. My approach is a mix of documentary, romantic, and editorial—creating galleries that feel timeless and intentional while still capturing your day as it actually happened. You’ll get the beautiful portraits, the details you spent months planning, your favorite people, and all of the candid moments happening in between. Wedding coverage can include everything from getting ready through the dance floor, along with engagement sessions, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, second photographers, film coverage, and multi-day celebrations. I also photograph intimate weddings and elopements. Beyond taking photos, I want the entire experience to feel easy. I work closely with my couples on timelines, locations, and photo planning leading up to the wedding, and on the day itself, I’ll give direction when you need it and step back when you don’t. My biggest priority is making sure you can actually enjoy your wedding day while knowing the photos are taken care of. My faith is at the heart of why I create, and I truly believe it’s a gift to document people, relationships, and the joy found in them. Creative for the Creator, always.
