All the ladies at Eugenia Couture were amazingly kind and helpful every step of the way. I walked into the sample store having never been into a bigger, more traditional bridal store, confident that I'd find my perfect dress here, and I was right. Especially for someone like me, who can already be found in floor-length, bohemian lace and tulle dresses any old day of the week, Eugenia's Joy Collection is a breath of fresh air amidst some of the more conventional wedding designs of the day. The dress I bought was elegant, old-fashioned in feel but more modern in design, flattering, and unique. I was even more impressed with it after the ladies tailored it -- what started out as a dress that was yards of fabric too long for my tiny frame somehow ended up fitting me perfectly, even making me look tall. Not only did I get to have the fastest wedding dress shopping experience ever (I bought the second dress I tried on, because it was so perfect), and not only did it fit perfectly on the day of, but I was able to get both the dress and the tailoring for just over a thousand dollars, since I bought from the sample store. For a floor length dress with detailing and a train! I got so many compliments on the day of, from both the young people at the wedding and from those of my parents' and grandparents' generations, and I felt like my true self, not like I was dressing up to fit the traditional bride mold.
