It was such a fun and emotional exercise to reflect on our story and since we filled it out separately, it was really special to read each other’s answers afterwards.  The ceremony Eva crafted was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I were a little nervous about the ceremony since we wanted to do things a little non-traditional (for example, we walked down the aisle together) but Eva was so knowledgeable, helpful, and understanding. She guided us through the whole process and gave us recommendations to create a ceremony that felt uniquely us. The ceremony she created was so special, it was the perfect blend of deep emotion and lighthearted humor. Our guests kept coming up to us afterwards to tell us how beautiful the ceremony was and how emotional it made them and how it felt so perfectly us.  Eva also provided us with the script so that we can re-read it on our anniversary, which I’m super excited for. She also handled all the logistics of mailing back the marriage license for us, which I was so grateful for. Eva was incredible and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant for their special day! 

ded quickly and warmly and for me - Karen (the bride) was a warm reassurance. We had a video chat / introduction with Eva and she offered her expertise in helping us with our venue choice and what it entailed. From that first video call we both knew that Eva was the perfect officiant so confirmed our date with her and it was booked. Eva sent us both a questionnaire asking us things like “tell our story, how we met, the proposal and what we both wanted for our marriage” the questions were not intrusive but purely for her to get to know a little about us both and for her to use what we told her in writing,the perfect ceremony. Our song choice and our own vows were written. Eva continued to communicate with us both in the lead to our wedding day, explaining what we needed to do in obtaining our park permit (we wanted to get married in Wagner Cove - Central Park) and to ensure we had the cove to ourselves for the ceremony Eva explained that we needed this. Our wedding date was Thursday May 15th 2025, we met up with Eva the day before and she talked us through the ceremony. We could not recommend her services enough! She was perfect! If you are reading this review and wondering where to start we would suggest reaching out to Eva, your day will be perfect. We both feel that we have a friend for life, we are planning on catching up with her and her husband next year when we go back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.

amiliar friend. We had lots of “homework” in preparation for our wedding from all of our vendors, but one piece we loved working on was her questionnaire about our love story. It was a gleeful reminder that Eva meticulously laced into our ceremony script from inside jokes to anecdotes we’d written about the other to modern religious references. She captured us so aptly and left our guests teary eyed. Many wanted to know where we’d found her! The level of care and detail she puts into her work is something special. 100 out of ten, we couldn’t recommend Eva more.

nd she couldn’t have been more accommodating. Eva was professional but it felt like we’d known her for years, catered to exactly what we wanted and couldn’t have made it more personal. All of our family remarked on how special and how “us” the ceremony was, she honestly went above and beyond all expectations. As a couple that were eloping to NYC, Eva took away all the stress of getting married in a new place at a venue we hadn’t even visited, and offered more than expected in providing an early script so that our non-English speaking family could have a translation in advance of the ceremony. Eva was 11/10 and not that we will ever be getting married again (!!) but if we were, we would 100% want Eva for our ceremony. Couldn’t recommend her more. Thank you Eva!!

video call a few months before our wedding, we knew we had hit the jackpot! Eva explained the whole process and made what could be a nerve-wracking time become seamless. She was flexible (we changed the time more than once) and took time to explain in good detail the process of acquiring our marriage license. She suggested the most perfect venue in Dumbo for our ceremony- we would have never found Max Family Garden without her. Eva really wanted to find out about us and our story. She took on board our questionnaires and took the time to get to know us- quite a skill when the couple live on the other side of the Atlantic! Eva listened to all of our wishes for the day- even down to what she should wear in accordance with our colour scheme! The ceremony she put together still blows us away now- she made it entirely personal, she added her brilliant humour to the occasion and brought our story to life. Eva really was one of the stand outs from our day and I only wish we could do it all again. I would wholeheartedly recommend Eva as your Officiant if you want your day to feel personal, full of love, happiness and warmth. We cannot thank her enough!

We flew in from London England and I had this idea that in our six day vacation we needed to renew our wedding vows at ladies pavilion Central Park , which was our original wedding venue. With Eva’s knowledge and expertise we had the most amazing ceremony . I’d say this was even better than our wedding day. She clearly listens and understands every detail . To pull this off in such a short turn around is a miracle . Thank you Eva , we are so glad to have found you . I am not sure there are enough words to describe how amazing you were . From the first call we knew we were booking with Eva, she is so passionate about celebrating love, and celebrating however each couple wants to have their ceremony. She was completely flexible with the run of the ceremony, and made suggestions and helped us pick out the perfect items and speaking parts we wanted to include. She attended our rehearsal and even rescheduled a conflicting personal matter to ensure she could be there to rehearse the wedding with us. She even spent some time with our pup that was in the wedding right after the ceremony so all of us could have a moment without puppy chaos. :) I can't recommend Eva enough! She is professional, while still having a very kind personality that brings brightness to your special day.

Eva is extremely professional and went above and beyond in ways we could not have even imagined. She arrived very early, helped us with what whatever needed to be done the day of, made an effort to get to know our guests, and had done a ton of research to incorporate some of our cultural values into the ceremony and her speech. The ceremony was beyond anything we could have every imagined! Eva filled any voids that might have existed on the day and we are truly grateful for her! Her speech was so beautiful, moving, thought out, and tailored exactly to us! I cannot recommend her enough and frankly don't think there is anyone better that can officiate the wedding so beautifully!

She sent us individual questionnaires which asked lots of things about our relationship, family lives, hobbies, work, home etc. All of which she used to tailor make our ceremony, which was absolutely perfect and brought a tear to both our eyes (my husband NEVER cries 😂). Living in another country and trusting strangers to create your wedding was sometimes nerve wracking but Eva genuinely calmed our nerves and we trusted her completely. Eva went above and beyond on our wedding day, helping me with my hair and setting up the perfect spot in the bar for our vows, as well as coming up with ideas for photos as there was a huge storm and all our ideas for photos outside went down the pan. We have stayed in touch since returning to the UK and will continue to do so in the future.

at we are comfortable with. My husband and I wanted to include our very shy toddler into the ceremony and Eva found a way to make sure that our daughter was both comfortable and included. Eva is very thoughtful about not only what is said at the ceremony, but also how the words will be perceived by guests as well. I have had many guests mention that they loved how she made the ceremony so engaging and intimate. It was not a boring ceremony. I even had comments on how her personality and energy feels like a friend. She is someone who will make your ceremony everything you would want and I couldn’t thank her enough for giving my husband and I such a perfect memory of our day.

our vows. Eva offered some good locations for us to tie the knot, we chose the Ladies Pavilion in Central park in the end. Good job too as it was raining all day on our chosen day. This only added to the romance and of course meant the park was empty on our special day. We wouldn't have changed it looking back. The ceremony was very personal, Eva had asked us to complete a questionnaire about each other prior to arrival. Eva used this to create some really personal and special vows for us. ny emails over the next 6 months with Eva giving us guidance when needed and even suggestions on places to visit while in NYC - with each email we felt more and more secure in the feeling that we had chosen very well! On the day of our wedding Eva instantly put us at ease, the ceremony she created was beautiful and very personal it felt like we were being married by a friend, somebody who really cared and wanted to ensure our special day was perfect, and it was. Eva went above and beyond what we expected, not just with the wonderful ceremony but by also presenting us with an ornate “unofficial” marriage certificate and the ceremony words as a keepsake. As we didn’t have an official photographer she also escorted us to other picturesque areas of Central Park and took some amazing photographs which she emailed to us later that day. We couldn’t have wished for more, are truly grateful for Eva’s contribution and are so very glad we chose her to be a part of our special day.

She was captivating, funny, calming, and beautiful. Our guests felt every emotion, and are still talking about it to this day. She totally captured us in every sense. It felt like we were in our own little world. Time stood still. What she created cannot be replicated by someone else. It is her own. If you are wondering who you should pick as your officiant, let this be the sign to choose Eva. It will be the best decision you ever make. My husband and I kept saying throughout our wedding process, that if everything were to fail, at least we have Eva. She was with us every step of the way, and gave us such positivity that we knew it was going to be a beautiful day. Rain and all. It was perfect. Thank you, Eva. You are brilliant.

o have a small but very personal ceremony including our children. Eva went beyond to make sure we were happy with our woes, small personal sayings and poems. Since we planned this from Europe there were many practical pieces that needed to fall in to place and Eva had boundless amount of energy to help us. Eva will definitely be part of our elopement memories for years to come.
