We found Evan through our videographer, and we couldn’t have found anyone better! We were nervous about photos, as we don’t feel the most comfortable in front of the camera. Within...
the first 5, he had us laughing and smiling and we knew that our photos were going to be amazing. He would do anything to get the perfect shot, including standing on a swivel chair to get photos of my dress. Throughout the day Evan got some amazing shots and and everything flowed quickly, especially the family photos. We have a large family and he got everyone together and looking great with ease. Throughout the day he would take behind the scenes videos and made the day so much fun. We could feel that he genuinely cared about us, our love and our day. After our wedding we got so many compliments on how much our wedding party, families, and guests liked Evan and how much fun he was to work with. By the end of the night we felt like we were best friends and so thankful we had him for our big day. When we got our photos back, we were in awe and couldn’t believe them. They were exactly what we wanted. We have gotten so many compliments on how gorgeous they are. We got so lucky with having Evan as our photographer.
Evan is so great! My husband I got married on 8/3/19 at the Los Altos History Museum and had the best time with Evan as our photographer. We hired Evan and Lisa for 8 hours on our ...
big day. From first reachout, Evan was engaged, timely, professional, and organized. He ensured that he had all the details he needed for wedding day so he could capture the shots most important to us.
Wedding day - Evan and Lisa were timely and ready to go! They scoped out some beautiful spots at and around the venue for our first look, wedding party photos, couple photos, family photos, etc. Evan was energetic, charismatic, and can get along with literally anyone. I am not a model, but he helped my husband and I feel so relaxed - we look like models in our photos! This is a team that goes above and beyond. Evan will do anything to get the best shot! Lisa even helped bustle my dress.
We received our final photos this week and absolutely love them all. We can't wait to be those annoying newlyweds who overshare all of their photos :P
Thank you Evan and Lisa! We have already been spreading the word and hope we can partner with you again very soon :D
Evan is an amazing photographer, his work is unbelievably beautiful! I can't say enough good things about working with Evan and the quality of his photos. He is beyond talented and...
took the time to get to know my husband and I as a couple. He recreated one of our first photos together during our wedding without us even prompting him to do so. Evan is also a great guy to work with, he is kind and professional but also hilarious. Our entire wedding party loved working with him and you will too!
Photography for our wedding was one of the more important vendors so I focused early on to find the right one for our April wedding in Portola Valley. Evan accommodated the fact th...
at we live on the East Coast by scheduling a Skype meeting around 10 months before our wedding. He immediately put us at ease with his friendly and genuine personality. Even my husband who does not like having his photo taken felt comfortable with booking Evan based on that meeting. We used technology again about 4 months prior to the wedding when I did a walk through on the property for him. The day of the wedding, Evan worked effortlessly with my videographer (booked separately) to capture the most touching moments. His humor coupled with his efficiency of moving people through the desired shots (especially family and bridal party) made it feel fun and not like something we had to pose for. The work displayed on his website was not misleading as we were pleased to see a full gallery of gorgeous photographs from our special day. From shots of the estate and garden to getting ready clips with our bridal party, Evan captured the excitement and then the emotion and anticipation leading up to our first look. Our ceremony and reception photos displayed our garden party theme beautifully, we couldn't be happier with choosing Evan!
Evan Chung needs to be your photographer. It really is a need. I met Evan when he was doing the photography for my friend's wedding. I was so impressed with his work and with his f...
riendly personality that I knew he needed to be the photographer for my own wedding (never mind the fact I was not engaged at the time). So as soon as I became engaged, one of the first things we did after booking the venue, was book with Evan. Even though I planned my wedding from out-of-state, Evan made it an easy process.
On my wedding day, Evan captured amazing moments and had ingenious ideas to make the portraits with our bridal party really unique. I haven't seen the photos yet, but I have every confidence they will be amazing. In the brief moment when I started to get really anxious about the timeline and running late, Evan was able to work everything out. I can't wait to see the photos and hopefully work with Evan again when we have other momentous occasions to document :)
Boy did we luck out to have Evan as our photographer! I'm not just talking about the beautiful photos that were the result. Having Evan as a part of our wedding made everything eas...

He was punctual, professional, knew exactly the right questions to ask and blended it perfectly into the atmosphere of the wedding. During the pre-wedding meetings, he helped us put together our schedule, made us think of details we had completely overlooked and somehow made us feel that it was all going to come together beautifully. He was very flexible to adjust for our concerns and restrictions, and was the easiest part of the wedding planning.
The day of, Evan managed to capture every moment without even being noticed. When we got our photos back we spent the entire night reliving the day, laughing and crying. I could not imagine having a better experience with a wedding photographer.
Evan and Angie are a great team! They are both two of the the nicest people you will ever come across. Not only do our photos look great, they took the time to make sure we were h...
appy with everything. Just before the wedding, the groom was feeling a little nervous and Evan had him hit some golf balls with his groomsmen. Not only was it a great idea, he got some great photos as well.
Prices are great too! Total value!
My husband and I cannot stop talking about how amazing Evan was as our photographer! From the first email, the first meeting with him, to the wedding day itself, we were impressed...
over and over again.
Here are some of the reasons we LOVE him.
1) He cared for us. Not only did he take amazing photos, but he truly cared about us as people. I think that is an incredible quality for anyone to have, and as the "client" I felt so much more comfortable knowing that we had a photographer who cared about us!
2) He and Angie (his wife took photos with him) are superbly professional. As is quite normal with most wedding days, ours had our share of hiccups. Evan and Angie were flexible and professional the entire time. The way they dressed, the way they addressed our families and wedding party, the way they were entirely on point and organized--everything was extremely professional!
3) His work is worth every cent and MORE. We had Evan take engagement photos for us a couple months ago and they came out phenomenal! You can see some of his work on his website as well as his facebook page: http://facebook.com/evanchungphotography
We were so happy with his style and with the quality of the photos! He is currently working on our wedding photos and we have been able to see a few, which are STUNNING.
I could go on and on. Suffice it to say, choosing to go with Evan Chung as our photographer was most definitely one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding!
