Evan is an AMAZING personality and works with your initial ideas or he is more than happy to give you some great ideas. I had no idea what I wanted or how to pose for anything, he made me feel at ease and guided me through the process. My bridal shoot turned out better than I could have imagined and my pictures from the wedding were wonderful. So happy my sister in-law suggested him!! Do yourself a favor and book with Evan!

Evan is literally one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to work with. When we asked if our son could be included in our engagement photos he didn’t even miss a beat. Our wedding was only a few days ago so I don’t have my final photos yet but I already know they’ll be fantastic. Everyone told me how awesome he was all night and he gave very clear directions on our posed pictures. I’m almost sad that my wedding is over because I won’t get to work with him anymore.

We cannot express the amount of love we have for Evan. He was so wonderful from beginning to end. It was a ridiculously cold outdoor wedding in the spring and nothing about him said he was cold or didn't want to be there... unlike our guests. :( he was so good with our family and was 100 percent attentive to every detail of the wedding. After the ceremony my husband leaned over and said "i love this guy, where did you find him?" Evan helped make our day so special and we're so grateful for him. If you hire this man, you will absolutely not regret it.

Evan is outstanding! He took our engagement photos with last minute notice since we were in the Dallas area just for the weekend to take photos. Our original plans fell through due to rain and Evan was very flexible in accommodating us prior to us heading out of town. The photos were outstanding and he does a great job taking into account any ideas you may have. Evan has a great personality and I would highly recommend for photography!

Where to begin, Evan is just amazing. He’s so much fun to work with and his skills far exceeded my expectations. He did our wedding photos and he has a way about keeping everyone focused and on track. I actually chose him because he did my friends wedding also, and the photography was absolutely perfect. Evan was AMAZING from our first meeting to the big day. He had my whole wedding party laughing and enjoying the experience, even those who are camera shy. He rolled with the punches when we switched up the schedule last minute. We are already planning on booking mini sessions with him in the years to come as we watch our family grow.

Evan did our engagement photos, my bridal portraits and our wedding day and we could not be happier with the way he captured our love & the best day of our lives. One of my most important factors when choosing a photographer for our wedding was that I felt completely comfortable around him/her and could fully trust them to document these important events. I can't recommend Evan Godwin enough. My now-wife found Evan online while hunting for wedding photographer and were impressed at how highly Evan was rated on a number of sites. We scheduled an introduction meeting with him over Skype on evening to see how our personalities would meld and to get an idea of his vision style; none of the above were disappointing. Our engagement photos were held a few months later in downtown Dallas, and we had an absolute blast. This is the first time we had met Evan outside of Skype, and within only seconds my wife and I knew we'd made the right choice. Not only did Evan give great direction and make the photo shoot a simple event, but we had great time shooting with him. His ability to make us feel comfortable with him and with ourselves allowed my wife and I to let our personalities come out, with no reservations, which allowed for some truly incredible photographs. There is so much authentic personality and love in our photos, and I've never worked with a photographer who so effortlessly made me feel comfortable being myself in front of the lens. The same goes for our wedding-day shots. In spite of the hectic day and the behind-the-scenes stress, the photo shoot was one of the most calming parts of the day, and the photos turned out excellent. Another big selling point for us was the value and quality of the work Evan provides - his no-nonsense photograph policy allowed us to have all of the high-res photos at no additional charge, with an easy-access website for seeing the proofs before we received the high-res copies. His website was straight forward and easy to navigate. I wish we had more events that warranted a professional photographer, as Evan is truly a master of his craft and an exceptional person. We had the pleasure of working with Hugo for our wedding (Evan was already booked!) and I can't even begin to describe what a wonderful job he did of capturing our wedding! He was constantly moving and taking pictures of things I didn't even think about wanting. The turnaround for the pictures was about 8 weeks and arrived in a beautiful little wooden box. It brought tears to my eyes and I was just so excited to view our wedding pictures. Which, turned out beautifully!! I can't say enough good things about Evan Godwin and his photography company. We got to use Evan for our engagement shoot, which turned out amazingly well and we used Scott for our actual wedding photos. Evan was nice and warm towards us during our engagement session. My Husband and I booked Evan 10 months before our wedding. He was our very first vendor. We were advised that Evan was absolutely amazing and book pretty quickly so we wanted to get a head start.
