Evan Hampton Photography is a wedding and events photographer based in Saint Johns, FL. Planning a wedding is stressful. Choosing a photographer doesn’t have to be. My name is Evan Hampton, and I believe I will increase the amount of positivity in the world by telling a great visual story. One of the best chapters in someone’s story is their wedding day, and I love to capture it creatively and imaginatively. My goal is to help you have fun and reassure you that your story is in good hands.
I have a Graduate Degree in Photography from Miami Ad School Atlanta @ Portfolio Center.
Since 2008, I’ve photographed weddings in Florida, Georgia, California, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, New York, Michigan, Florida Keys, Washington, DC, and at Sea...just to name a few. I’ve captured great moments for hundreds of couples from coast to coast. Now, it’s your turn.

He asked us tons of questions and really took the time to get to know us beforehand to ensure our day went smoothly and exactly how WE wanted! Not to mention, he was bossy in the best kind of way! Haha! If you trust him and his eye, he may ask some weird stuff from you but I always obeyed and I don't regret it! Those ended up being some of my favorite pics! He's awkward like that, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
My favorite part about his work is how true his photos are to the moment. They're absolutely gorgeous, but not in a fake, posed, magazine-cover way. In a true, real way; he actually captures memories and moments! I've never felt so beautiful, but I still felt like me. I've never known anything like it.

Evan was such a calming presence on my wedding day and I enjoyed him when he photographed my maid of honors wedding as well. He arrived early and stayed until the very end. I LOVE that he usually does a sneak peak with his favorite picture the day of the wedding. He uploaded a picture around midnight even when our wedding ended around 10pm. oke of serendipity. We couldn't be more grateful for that introduction. Evan was fantastic from day 1. He made the whole process devoid of stress as he chatted with us on Skype multiple times prior to the wedding. In addition, he arrived a day early to Lakeland to do a walk-through of the venues and chat with us before the craziness that is the day of. He was super flexible with the timing, the locations of things, and our shot list. He went above and beyond from the moment he arrived, and the final product was spectacular!! The pictures captured all the aspects of our day better than we could have wished.
One thing we thought was really special was how between the ceremony and reception Evan told my now husband and I to take some time for just the two of us, instead of sitting for more photos. We hadn't expected this, but really appreciated those few private moments.
