About this vendor
Evan Hampton Photography is a wedding and events photographer based in Saint Johns, FL. Planning a wedding is stressful. Choosing a photographer doesn’t have to be. My name is Evan Hampton, and I believe I will increase the amount of positivity in the world by telling a great visual story. One of the best chapters in someone’s story is their wedding day, and I love to capture it creatively and imaginatively. My goal is to help you have fun and reassure you that your story is in good hands.
I have a Graduate Degree in Photography from Miami Ad School Atlanta @ Portfolio Center.
Since 2008, I’ve photographed weddings in Florida, Georgia, California, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, New York, Michigan, Florida Keys, Washington, DC, and at Sea...just to name a few. I’ve captured great moments for hundreds of couples from coast to coast. Now, it’s your turn.
I look forward to seeing you both soon!
When I’m not telling someone’s visual story, I call Jacksonville, Florida, home with my wife, Christina, and our sons, Brantley and Beckett.

📸✨ Where do I even begin with Evan Hampton? When we were debating whether to have a private photographer capture our moments, I was a bit unsure.
But let me tell you, I am beyon...
d thrilled that we chose Evan. From the moment we met him, his easygoing nature and genuine enthusiasm put us at ease. Throughout our entire event, Evan was not just a photographer but a true artist capturing every moment with precision and creativity.
Your professionalism and attention to detail were impeccable. You seamlessly blended into the background, yet managed to capture the essence of every moment flawlessly. From the candid shots to the posed portraits, Evan's work surpassed all expectations.
Not only is he an amazing photographer, but he's also incredibly fun to work with. He has a knack for making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, which resulted in some of the most genuine and heartfelt photos we could have ever imagined.
I cannot recommend Evan enough to anyone looking for a photographer who not only delivers stunning photos but also provides an unforgettable experience.
We're already planning to book him for our future events because we know we can trust him to capture every precious moment beautifully.
Thank you, Evan, for going above and beyond to make our memories last a lifetime! 🌟🥰😭👰🏻♀️
Evan did a fantastic job and was very easy to work with. We loved our engagement photos and they looked great on our save-the-dates. The wedding photos came out beautifully too. He...
was very professional, yet easy going, which is what you want when planning a wedding and trying to keep track of so many different vendors. Would highly recommend!
Evan is the best. Our engagement and wedding photos are wonderful. We referred him to our friends and would highly recommend! Thank you Evan for capturing our wedding.
Evan over and exceeded our expectations in every way. He was a true professional, responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. He has a fun personality and...
took the time to get to know us as a couple. We could not have been more happy with the final product. Our photos are amazing! As an added bonus, he and my husband made a beautiful keepsake wedding album for me as a surprise. Everyone that sees it is blown away. You can't go wrong choosing Evan for your big day! Highly Recommend!!
Evan is amazing!! YOU WANT HIM TO TAKE YOUR PICTURE. Not only is he funny and personable, he is also a true professional. He is quick on the reply and very detailed in his work. I ...
used him for my wedding in May, and after my best friend saw him work and saw our photos, she immediately wanted him for hers next year!! He gave us SO many photos back, and each one is so beautiful.
He asked us tons of questions and really took the time to get to know us beforehand to ensure our day went smoothly and exactly how WE wanted! Not to mention, he was bossy in the best kind of way! Haha! If you trust him and his eye, he may ask some weird stuff from you but I always obeyed and I don't regret it! Those ended up being some of my favorite pics! He's awkward like that, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
My favorite part about his work is how true his photos are to the moment. They're absolutely gorgeous, but not in a fake, posed, magazine-cover way. In a true, real way; he actually captures memories and moments! I've never felt so beautiful, but I still felt like me. I've never known anything like it.
If you're looking for a wedding photographer, remember that your wedding will be a whirlwind and the only part of that crazy day that will last is your spouse and your pictures. I'm so glad Evan captured all our memories for us!!
In short, GET EVAN.
Hiring Evan as our wedding photographer was the best decision! He more than exceeded our expectations. He is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. From the beginning he ...
was very responsive and really took the time to get to know us and our personalities. Our engagement session was fun and a great opportunity to see his work and get to know each other. We communicated quite a bit leading up to the wedding so that he knew he had every detail covered. I felt completely confident that he would capture all the shots that were important to us. We could not be more happy with our photos. They came out amazing! I highly recommend him to any bride! We will definitely be using him for future needs. (Wedding: Oct. 14, 2016)
Not only are our pictures beautiful, but Evan was a pleasure to have around during our wedding. Evan worked to get each element we requested without hesitation. He is easy going an...
d affable---easy to get a hold of and communicative and was friendly with guests and vendors. We opted for a "phone free" reception and relied solely on Evan to capture these important moments, and they turned out beautifully, we have great tangible memories to grace our home for our lifetime. Evan quickly grasped bits of our personalities from our engagement session and was able to create a volume of photos from our wedding that really reflect us as a couple. We look forward to working with Evan again, as we will not hesitate to call him again to capture other important moments in our lives.
My husband and I used Evan Hampton for our engagement pictures as well as our wedding day! My husbands hates taking pictures and Evan made him laugh and captured some got shots at ...
two separate locations for our engagement pictures. He didn't mind traveling around mandarin and all the way into downtown Jacksonville. Shortly after booking he sent us a questionnaire to get to know us as well as what type of pictures we wanted.
Evan was such a calming presence on my wedding day and I enjoyed him when he photographed my maid of honors wedding as well. He arrived early and stayed until the very end. I LOVE that he usually does a sneak peak with his favorite picture the day of the wedding. He uploaded a picture around midnight even when our wedding ended around 10pm. The picture looked like it was straight from a bridal magazine. The pictures turned out very well and I will cherish them forever. Thank you Evan!!!
Finding a wedding photographer for our Lakeland, FL wedding was more of a challenge than either my fiance or I had anticipated. Our introduction to Evan Hampton was a fortunate str...
oke of serendipity. We couldn't be more grateful for that introduction. Evan was fantastic from day 1. He made the whole process devoid of stress as he chatted with us on Skype multiple times prior to the wedding. In addition, he arrived a day early to Lakeland to do a walk-through of the venues and chat with us before the craziness that is the day of. He was super flexible with the timing, the locations of things, and our shot list. He went above and beyond from the moment he arrived, and the final product was spectacular!! The pictures captured all the aspects of our day better than we could have wished.
One thing we thought was really special was how between the ceremony and reception Evan told my now husband and I to take some time for just the two of us, instead of sitting for more photos. We hadn't expected this, but really appreciated those few private moments.
Thank you Evan!
I truly enjoyed working with Evan. His laid back personality helped create a stress- free day, and his sense of humor kept us laughing! He is the kind of person you need by your si...
de (besides your groom) on your wedding day! He never made me feel rushed. He was easy to get in contact with and quick to answer any questions I had. I am so appreciative of him and LOVE his work!
Evan is new in town, and has a ton of training and experience. The reason we loved his prior work is that his photos capture the personality and heart of each individual couple. ...
He has a really creative vision, but will still get all the shots your grandma expects you to get. Evan's sense of humor will put even the most stressed bride at ease.
