We met him a week before the wedding and he put us at complete ease, he has such a lovely and friendly demeanor. Day of the wedding he truly went above and beyond. From the beginning, Evan, Teya and team were incredibly helpful and professional--but never stuffy--we were completely at ease during the planning phase because of how down to earth, knowledgeable and just how generally lovely they were. You have to like your photographer because you will be with them more than any other person on your big day--they can't stress you out or bring bad energy. Evan and team did the opposite--they brought a calming presence to all of us, acting as photographer, planner/coordinator and family-wrangler all in one. n as the single photographer since our wedding was smaller, and he was somehow everywhere capturing every important moment. He made sure to adjust my dress as needed so it was always perfectly placed. His easy going and fun personality made everyone feel comfortable, and you can tell he just loves his job, and it seems like the other vendors really like him too. Cannot recommend him enough. Our sneak peeks (which came just two days later) turned out amazing. Can't wait to see all of the photos.

vision and distinct style - I would know his work anywhere. He caught so many amazing moments on our wedding day and delivered a gorgeous portfolio of timeless photos I know we will love forever. Both our portraits and candids are wonderful and really captured the feeling of our day. I loved that he sent sneak peeks less than 48 hours after our wedding - we hadn’t even boarded the plane for our honeymoon and we had photos in our inbox! Evan’s greatest strength, however, is how at ease he will make you feel and how that translates to how you look in front of the camera. My husband and I are not naturally photogenic people, but Evan has the absolute BEST energy. He is constantly smiling and laughing and hyping you up when you need it. He was so positive and naturally adjusted when we had less than ideal weather on our day. He gives just the right amount of direction and was so polite, considerate and thoughtful when dealing with family, other vendors, etc. The end product is amazing, but the process was also a total joy. Evan felt like a friend by the end of our engagement session, and even more so after our wedding. Also have to give shout outs to Teya, who handles the logistics and scheduling for Evan, she is so lovely and all of our vendors loved her, and Diana, who was our photography assistant. Her work is amazing as well!

We even spoke to overseas/ NYC photographers and saw their full albums- trust me, no one can compare to what Evan does. When I spoke to Evan and Teya on the phone, I was again impressed by how chill/ passionate they are. Evan felt like our long-time friend, and my husband especially LOVED our first conversation with them. For our wedding rehearsal, Alex came to take our photos- which were also AMAZING. The colors popped, the perspectives were beautiful, and he somehow managed to make detail shots look stunning in dark/dimly lit spaces. Even with our overlapping events, I had never actually met Evan. I started asking planners I trusted if they had ever worked with him, and every single one said to book him. – He’s so easy to work with. – He’s so laid back. – His work is amazing. (and they were not exaggerating) When our wedding day finally came Evan did not disappoint. It was a typical September day in Florida - teetering between sunny and mini monsoon every 30 minutes. We had ambitiously chosen an outdoor venue with no rain backup. Evan was calm and flexible, which was really important to us. We had to keep most of the initial photos near our rooms to make sure we could duck inside if the monsoon started again. He captured angles that managed to make the parking lot look like tropical oasis & the messy hotel room look like an old Florida Tommy Bahama ad. He kept the mood light and made us laugh, (we’re both super awkward in front of a camera). By the time the ceremony was about to start the rain was pouring down in sheets. We opted to move it under the only tent we had, and the wedding party would have to (power) walk through the sand and rain. Evan took off his shoes, rolled up his pants, & ran around in the rain with us without missing a beat. He was like an actual ninja. He captured everything. Not only did he photograph the wedding party walking, but he managed to intermittently get the guests reactions. After the ceremony our timeline was completely rearranged because of weather. He would remind us it was time for sunset photos, or that we still needed to do some of our large family shots so that we didn’t miss anything. Once we got the photographs back, I bawled. They were so amazing. I’ve always fixated on event décor shots because of my own work and I knew Evan would capture that beautifully, but what blew me away the most were the candid shots of people. The unprompted reaction shots of our guests were priceless. It was like reliving the wedding. He painted the whole picture from getting ready, to the general landscape/space, to the unique ceremony with our guests faces, to the wild dance party and sweet moments between people throughout the night. Choosing him was one of the best decisions we made, and I can’t recommend him enough!

to meet our photographer, Evan for the first time. From the first emails coordinating all of our sessions to the day of our wedding, Evan and his team surpassed all of our expectations. When picking a photographer everyone told us personality matters a lot. With Evan it is completely true - we walked away from that day being so happy for Evan’s calming and happy presence through what was a somewhat hectic day. He is truly one of the most talented photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I have absolutely no regrets in my choice for what is essentially one of the most important days of our lives. Following our wedding and engagement photo shoot, the turn around time has been so quick and the website he uses to post our photos is easy to use and so much fun to browse through. We’ve already joked with him that we hope he will do all of our important moments as a family going forward!

plained to him how my then fiancé hates taking pictures, I mean HATES pictures. Like I get one try, and if that wind is in blowing my hair across my face I am out of luck. So when the day after our wedding when my now husband says "damn I didn't mind taking pictures. Evan is pretty damn good..." THAT IS THE ULTIMATE COMPLIMENT. I should just stop this review right here an leave it at that.. BUT.. He didn't force us to have weird staring contests for 5 minutes, he didn't make take painfully awkward photos that you see on Pinterest. He just simply gave natural instruction and just like that it was easy and natural. Evan makes you feel so comfortable and he isn't joking when he says he can cover all grounds. I mean he was everywhere. He made everyone feel so natural and captured every amazing moment. Not to mention he sent me the preview photos within three days. One of my bridesmaids is getting married in Georgia and she even wants to find a way to get Evan there... and my sister who is getting married in Illinois was like how do I get out of my current contract for Evan. Guys, he is that good!

engaged I immediately started searching for a destination wedding venue to get married at. After countless sleepless nights hunting the internet for the right place I finally came across a photo that was so gorgeous I just had to get married wherever it was. And then I decided I had to have whatever photographer that took that photo be my photographer. And that's how I found Puerto Rico and Evan. Even though I wasn't able to meet Evan in person since we didn't live in the same state, I knew after talking to him and his lovely wife Teya on the phone, that he was the perfect fit for us. After we had our wedding all planned, Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico, and we sadly had to cancel our wedding there and change our plans. Evan stuck with us through the change of wedding dates, location, and venues, and was so easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. On our wedding day, Evan showed up and it was like we were already friends. He made the whole day so fun and comfortable, and all of our guests truly loved him! The pictures Evan captured of our special day were so beautiful. It seemed like he was in 5 different places at the same time! Not only that, but he got a sneak peak of pictures to us incredibly fast! And then all of our pictures were sent to us within a month. I would highly recommend Evan for all of your photography needs. When we were on the hunt for photographers Evan sat with us and basically interviewed for the position (and did so gladly). We had a very eccentric and non-traditional wedding, and Evan was very supportive and accommodating to all our needs. He worked with us to find the package and pricing that worked for our budget. A few weeks before the wedding he sat with us again to walk through the entire schedule and all our requests for pictures. The day of the wedding he became part of our family. He captured every moment seamlessly; he never felt in the way. He was sweet, fun to have around, and meshed so well with all our family and friends. The teaser photos were delivered super quick (less than a week), and the final photos were also delivered very fast compared to other's that I've heard of (I had mine within the month). The photos are beyond amazing and look like they belong in a magazine! (Thanks to Evan great work my wedding will be featured in Rock n Roll Bride magazine in September!) I would choose Evan a thousand times over!

Evan was able to take our pictures while having conversations with us and having us stand in positions that didn’t feel posed. The majority of our pictures were candid except for the few posed family pictures. Picking the right photographer was one of the most important things for me and I truly believe that I picked the right person with Evan. The quality of his work is excellent and am so grateful for the beautiful pictures we have to look back at and remember one of the happiest days of my life.

He'd definitely top of the line and has a creative eye for just about every type of lighting and location. He really loves what he does and definitely transpires. All his shots have a natural beauty and I didn't feel awkward worrying about ridiculous poses for photographs which I was really nervous about. Everything felt very natural. Each photograph really is a work of art. Everyone that saw our pictures raved about them and how they look like they belong in a high end magazine. Anyone can take pictures, but Evan's talent produces photographs. And during shoots, he lets out so much energy. You can see his passion radiating! It's hard not to get into the shoots with that kind of energy. And this is coming from someone that completely feels awkward taking pictures. My husband and I can not say enough good things about him. He is exceptional in his work. What a dream it was to work with such talented and energetic people. When we met Evan in person to go over our ideas, we decided to book him immediately. Evan is extremely attentive, super nice, outspoken, creative and original.
