Chris was amazing!! Extremely organized, knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly - his DJ style is just too cool. Chris was able to get all of the music we wanted for the day of the wedding and we relied on his expertise for everything in between. I gave him music to cut/combine for our first dance and parent dance, and the songs were edited flawlessly. Our guests were tearing up the dance floor down to the last song! Everything went down so smoothly. It was such a pleasure working with him, I highly recommend!!

Chris is an amazing guy! With COVID, we never got the opportunity to meet him in person until the day of the wedding. However, he was always extremely communicative and helped us with whatever questions we had. The day of the wedding, it was like we knew Chris for years! We are so happy with our decision to hire Evans Entertainment to DJ for our December 2018 wedding! While my husband and I have our favorite music, we weren't sure how to go about getting and keeping our guests on the dance floor. Chris was amazing at taking our fairly wide-ranging but sparse list of artists and songs that we wanted to dance to as a starting point--he kept the dance floor full all evening and did so with a great mix of songs and genres that still felt true to our particular style and taste! We were thrilled with how Chris handled the room and moved us all throughout the evening without being showy, like a number of DJs we've seen at weddings or events. Furthermore, he was flexible and so thoughtful with helping us plan different events throughout the evening, such as when we could thank our guests without disrupting dancing, how to mic my sister's guitar so she could play while I walked down the aisle, and how I could surprise my mom with a mother-daughter dance. We got married at Woodloch Resort in Lackawaxen Township, PA in October 2018. Our ceremony took place outside by the lake and our cocktail hour and reception took place inside at The Inn at Woodloch. Chris was a great DJ for our event! We spoke on the phone three times before our event, and he was always very personable and professional. He kept the event moving, perfectly timing our requested music for the ceremony and MCing the reception as planned. His website was very professional and it was easy to make categories of song requests prior to the event. Thank you again, Chris!

Chris was so great to work with. His online system made planning so easy and he really worked hard to make sure our wedding was special and personal to us. He worked with my best friend to play music that she could sing along to as I walked down the aisle and even put together a mash up for our father daughter dance. We had never a doubt about who we were hiring as our DJ. We had the opportunity to ask Chris Evans to be part of our big day and he was truly a miracle worker making sure ever song and the vision of our day came together seamlessly. Chris met with us three times before our wedding (twice at the venue) to go over music with us, and to scope the space. He went above and beyond to make our day extra special. We had a very specific theme (modern 20's speakeasy) for our wedding and we are VERY particular about the music we wanted played. We aren't traditional people, so we didn't want any of those corny dances, and we definitely didn't want any of the "typical" wedding music. He delivered wonderfully. Chris also did our ceremony and cocktail hour music. NAILED IT! We had so many people compliment our cocktail hour music (electric swing)/reception music, and he kept the dance floor packed! Chris from Evans Entertainment was a pleasure to work with! He was professional and put my mind at ease. We really had no idea what to expect or what we wanted in terms of a DJ, but Chris helped guide us through the process. He took the time to meet with us a few months out and then once again closer to the wedding. There were a few communication issues in the initial timeline, but they were all worked out way before the wedding day. The night of, he helped everything move along seemlessly. Guests had music from the time they arrived until they left. He kept to the timeline, talked to us if any changes were needed, and moved things along smoothly. Chris was the perfect DJ! I wanted a full dance floor for 4 hours and he delivered. Chris dealt with rainy weather for an outdoor ceremony despite not having a power source to connect to. He was able to provide ceremony music using backup battery power and save the day! We gave him an extensive Must play and Do Not play list and he followed them explicitly while still playing to the crowd. He saw what we were trying to do, and took it and ran with it. We received compliments from MANY guests that this was the best wedding dance party they'd ever been to. Rain, heat, and humidity couldn't slow down the party Chris created!

My husband and I got married on May 12th, 2017, and Chris Evans was our DJ. He is very professional, and he did an amazing job! Our guests danced the entire night. My husband and I used Chris for our wedding in May of 2017. He was so professional throughout the entire process, and took the time to meet with us before the day of to really understand our personalities, what we wanted from him, and what style reception we were going for. The music selection he played was fantastic, and the vast majority of our guests (probably 120/145) were up dancing the entire night. We also played a "shoe-game" during our dinner and the guests LOVED it. We get compliments on it all the time. He was very professional and worked with our other vendors very well. We had a hiccup with another vendor that got us off schedule during our ceremony and he was able to work with our wedding planner/coordinator to make sure we got back on schedule without any issues. We would recommend this vendor to everyone - he is great at what he does.

Chris Evans is such a professional and hard working DJ. My husband and I were so pleased with everything he provided for our wedding. The music was great! Chris knew exactly what to get the crowd going and he respected my "Do Not Play" list even when my guests were hounding him to play particular songs I didn't want played. lol The photo booth Chris provided was such a hit! If my guests weren't on the dance floor, they were in the photo booth. Chris takes the time to meet with his clients, several times if necessary, and he is even willing to go out to the reception location to see the site before the actual day. We are so happy that we hired Chris Evans for our wedding!

I would highly recommend this company especially after the service I received from Chris. We had a few hiccups with scheduling and the day of, but Chris took care of us and that was a great feeling. Our initial consultation meeting with Chris went quickly and smoothly. Then we met with our DJ Mike closer to the wedding. Mike seems to get our general outlook for our wedding quickly. I emailed Mike and a number of changes as the wedding approached and he was responsive. He also had a good sense of humor about 'wedding stuff', which made me feel better. The night of our wedding was a blast. Mike threw in some songs I didn't think of and they are all perfect for our crowd. He also took care of the uplighting nicely. He checked in with me a few times to make sure I was happy. After the wedding our guests said they thoroughly danced their butts off and that was what we wanted!

Evans Entertainment came recommended to me by my brother and sister-in-law from their wedding, where I personally saw how great a job Chris did firsthand. Our wedding was nothing short of the same- perfect! Chris set the order of events perfectly- a great cocktail hour and then reception, starting with the introductions and leading into speeches/dancing! We had a lot of song requests and he accomodated them all flawlessly. Anything you want to do (or not do) is possible! Leading up to the wedding, we had no doubt the DJ/MCing would be perfect and our reality was no different. We received tons of compliments about the music and flow of the evening. Ok brides, if you are looking for a reliable, personable, fun, professional dj that you can check off you list, Evans entertainment is the place. Planning a wedding was so stressful and I planned most of mine myself. I remember worrying if all of the vendors I hired would come through on their promises. Well let me paint you a picture of my wedding... I chose the driest month of the year in upstate NY to have an outdoor wedding, in the summer, in the back yard of my now parent-in-laws lake house. The setting was AMAZING! Big, beautiful, flat backyard, with a dock on the lake and two boats that we were going to get the most amazing pictures on. So for months I strung twinkle lights and I put up a HUGE beautiful tent and an extra big dance floor that Chris Evans lit up with LEDs and it was going to be fantastic. Well wouldn't you know that it rained on the day of our wedding. It also ended up being 55 degrees. The backyard flooded and it all pooled at the dance floor and on Chris Evans with all of his equipment. He was at the end of the tent (the bad end) and was standing in 3 inches of freezing water. It seemed to be pouring sideways at times, and he was standing right in it. I honestly don't know how he didn't pack up his stuff and leave. At one point I said Chris...I understand if you have to do what you have to do. WELL NOT EVANS ENTERTAINMENT!!! Let me tell you...this smile NEVER left his face! He not only stayed the whole time, but we ALL ended up dancing in the rain all night. I mean, my old grandparents were up dancing…in the rain! He played the best music and totally read the crowd and we had to stop dancing to hurry up and eat so that we could start dancing again! I am so thankful that I chose this company to dj my wedding. He literally saved it. Please do yourself a favor and hire him, and worry about something else. He has got you covered.

We used Evans Entertainment for DJ, Photo booth & monogram lighting. The photo booth was a hit! And the monogram was spot on. Chris was a wonderful master of ceremonies and the custom intros were so unique! He worked with us to make them our own. After the wedding we did notice that some of our must play songs did not get played which was disappointing but we didn't notice that night because we were having so much fun with the music that was playing! Looking back I wouldve went up and asked for more slow songs to get everyone on the dance floor but overall they were great and I would recommend in a heartbeat!

If you are looking for your wedding entertainment, look no further you have found your guys! For my wedding I was able to pick all of my vendors, and I am glad that we picked Chris Evans and his team. We were planning our wedding 2 hours from home so it made things a little stressful at times, but I never had any worries when it came to Evans Entertainment. We worked mostly with Chris at the start via email and phone, but for our wedding with had DJ Josh and DJ Roc. Both of them were great! Since we do live about 3 hours away from them, meetings were tough but they made it happen. Chris was kind enough to meet us in the town my husband is originally from (not super far from where he lives) and we had a few Skype sessions with Josh and Roc. We had a very un-traditional wedding entrance in mind, and they went right with it! We are big WWE fans and wanted our bridal party to all have wrestling style entrances, Josh was able to get all the music and script down and Roc made it happen with all the lighting. It went off better than I could have ever hoped. There was never a dull moment at our reception, they had everyone out on the dance floor and it was always full! They played great music, totally got our tastes and even made my niece feel extra special by calling her out to lead everyone in her favorite song (whip/nae nae). Our guests are still complimenting us on the guys and our wedding was in October! I wish I had some other event for them to do, because I would book them again in a heartbeat! I can only hope we recommend them enough to friends so someone we know hires them and we can be at another wedding they are at!

True professional & pleasure to work with! From the moment we received a response from Chris at Evans Entertainment we had a great feeling. Considering all of the logistical challenges with our wedding, including a venue change two weeks prior to our big day, Chris rolled with the punches and was phenomenal. Not just did Chris know how to work a crowd really, really well, he is friendly and very easy to work with. He is an entertainer and it is clear he loves what he does. Since my wife and in-laws are of Polish/German heritage, Chris expertly listened to our requests to incorporate aspects of Polish/German wedding culture into our reception. Our international guests were amazed by how well these cultural aspects were woven into our reception! Furthermore, he handled a potentially disastrous delay during our reception with grace and professionalism. He basically revamped the entire run of show on the fly to accompany the delay and kept everyone moving and enjoying themselves. We strongly suspect a “regular” DJ would have mishandled this curveball, yet Chris seemingly handled it with ease. Finally, Chris was incredibly responsive to all communications. He would usually respond within a couple hours, sometimes sooner. When planning a wedding, this responsiveness is sooo helpful! If you want a tremendous DJ, who delivers INCREDIBLE value for the services provided, please do not hesitate to book Evans Entertainment. We are very, very pleased clients and are recommending him to friends getting married in 2016!

My husband and I had the fortunate opportunity of finding Chris Evans amongst our search for a DJ at our wedding. Evans Entertainment did an unbelievable job DJing and MCing our wedding. I'm a wedding videographer and have seen my fair share of DJ's. Chris Evans is one of the best all around DJ's I've seen. I met Chris Evans at another wedding he was MCing. I spoke with him briefly and he mentioned how he loved to spin vinyl records. I'm a big record fan so that was very important to me! We booked him pretty much as soon as my wife and I got engaged. He really spent the time needed going over all the song selections, introductions and series of events with us to make sure everything went perfect. And boy, it was perfect. He provided sound system for our separate ceremony location. He bought along a second DJ. He was willing to patch into my father-in-law's 50's Jukebox which we had trailered to the reception hall. We gave him a few crates of records from our personal collection which he spun through out the night. Our reception went like clockwork thanks to Chris. He had all of our guests on the dance floor, and the party didn't stop! We had a ball! We got the DJ & Lighting package and the pricing was VERY reasonable. All in all, I can't recommend Evans Entertainment enough. They are truly awesome at what they do. Thanks Chris!

My husband and I had different things that were important to each of us when it came to the entertainment for our Wedding reception. I LOVE to dance as well as my girlfriends and family, so for the DJ to be able to listen to and follow my specific music requests was big! And most importantly work the crowd and keep the dancefloor packed! As for my husband Vince, lighting was very important to him and sound system quality! Well, Evans Entertainment delivered it all, plus! The owner Chris and the DJ Josh, who covered our event met with Vince and I at a local Starbucks, which made it comfortable and more personal for Vince and I. They were extreamly attentive to all our wants and needs and wanted to know all the "little details" about us as a couple and what our visions were for our reception. I then met again with the DJ Josh and a second DJ that would be there that evening. We went over every song, every detail, every special request and so on. Vince and I felt very confident that Evans Entertainment would deliver for us, everything we wanted. Then came our big day! We had our Wedding reception at a Country Club. When we walked in the ballroom (prior to the guests arriving), we were floored, the setup was perfect! The lighting was fantastic and really gave the ballroom the "wow factor"! The night was perfect! Evans Entertainment was on point! Josh played everything we requested from old school Hip Hop, to classic Frank Sinatra, Jitterbug and so on. And all of our special dances were just right! His energy worked the crowd and the dancefloor was packed all night! Guests raved about what a fun reception it was! Not only did he follow our requests and suggestions but turned them into the perfect party. Everyone raved about how great our DJ was! He helped make an AWESOME Father/daughter dance mix for us! We were lucky with all of our venders, but Chris was a standout. We signed up with him after our first meeting. Chris Evans and his assistant did a great job at our wedding. He is a very down to earth family guy who has passion for music! His wife just had the baby on Friday but instead of sending in one of his DJs, he still came to our wedding - how professional! He is very easy to get in touch with and to talk to. Our meetings were short and to the point, just the way we wanted. We would recommend him in a heartbeat! He is extending his services to include videography so he asked us if they can film our wedding to promote their new service. Of course, we said yes. Within a few weeks of our wedding, he sent us the link to the video, and let me tell you, you will NOT be disappointed! The video is so sweet and we've probably viewed it 50 times just between my husband and I!

The photobooth was one of the highlights. The pictures that we got were so much fun and everyone really got crazy with the costumes. Absolutely loved it. The assistant was friendly and showed everyone how to use the booth. Highly recommend.

I used Chris and his company for my wedding and could not have been more pleased. with all the stress during wedding planning, this was truly the one area i did not have any strtess at all. i knew chris from a previous wedding and was amazed at his professionalism and great personality. i knew by choosing him to asisst with my wedding that i had nothing to worry about. Chris and his company did my music, lighting and photo booth. they were accomadating to everyone's needs and made my wedding so memorable. i have been to weddings where the photobooth only allowed for one picture and Chris's staff made sure all involved parties recieved a copy. it's a great feeling to not have to stress about something when planning your wedding and this was the one area i had no stress and all the confidence in the world that Evans Entertainment would do a phenomenmal job. Evans Entertainment did an outstanding job with all of our lighting and sound. His professionalism and attention to detail blew us away. The whole process flowed very nicely from the 1st meeting all the way down to the end of the reception. His website made my music selection very easy. My guests were amazed how great the place looked with the up-lighting and the custom monogram. They raved about the music and how much fun they had. Everyone danced the night away. He has a real positive energy about him that keeps everyone smiling and dancing. I would highly recommend Evans Entertainment for any kind of event.

We truly enjoyed working with Chris Evans, owner of Evans Entertainment. Our coordinator and photographer also enjoyed working with him our wedding day to keep the night flowing smoothly. He was very accomodating with meeting times due to our crazy work schedules, and happy to meet closer to our home. Chris was the most professional DJ I have seen at any wedding - he mixed the music perfectly so there was no need for the cheesy banter. His uplighting package was very tastefully executed as well - creating some very cool pictures. Highly recommended!
