I cannot thank Melissa enough for not only making sure we had plenty of beautiful peonies in all of our flower arrangements, but also for creating lush, bountiful, lavish bouquets. During our first consultation the owner came over to my parents and I and chatted with us for 30 minutes. This made my parents and I feel valued and important. Due to COVID-19 my husband and I had planned a wedding three different times due to changing government regulations. When we decided to get married at Gibbet Hill in Groton, Evan's was more than willing to travel the hour plus to our new venue location. I was shocked at how much Evan's exceeded my floral dreams for my wedding. From the cocktail tables, to the centerpieces, and the petals down the aisle, my guests and I were blown away at Evan's work. Thank you so much Evan's!!

She paid close attention to our photos and descriptions of what we wanted, asked us specific questions, and provided really helpful explanations to make sure we were all in agreement about what we were going for. Evan’s was one of the vendors that our venue (Tupper Manor) recommended, and it was great to work with someone who knew the space well and could offer suggestions for the space. However, I have no doubt that they would be equally as helpful designing something for a space they’d never seen. Allison was very forthcoming about pricing and helped us make adjustments to balance our vision with our budget. She made really helpful recommendations about what to prioritize, without ever making us feel like we were being steered toward something we didn’t want. The centerpieces turned out exactly as I imagined, and the other arrangements significantly exceeded my expectations. They also worked with our parents to provide flowers for the rehearsal dinner, which coordinated perfectly with the wedding flowers without duplicating them, and looked great in the restaurant. From beginning to end it was an absolute pleasure to work with Allison and the Evan’s team. I’ll be looking for excuses to order from them again soon!

One of the things I like most about Evan's Flowers is that they made a sample center piece to review during our final meeting. At the last minute we decided to have our flower girls make it down the aisle in a wagon and with very little direction from this frazzled bride, the Evans Flowers team made it a work of art. There are truly not enough wonderful things I can say about this vendor.

My wedding was 12/1/18 and I wrote an email November 1st to follow up. I didn't hear back so I had to email again November 13th. They emailed me back the next day and wanted to set up a phone call. I'm sorry but choosing wedding flowers is not something you can do over the phone. I had never even seen a mockup of my flowers! I wanted to set up a time to meet and the emails back and forth were very confusing and I came in that Monday to discover that she had thought our meeting was Saturday but never followed up! Now our wedding was 12 days away. Not the kind of stress I want, especially since I had reached out 1 month before our wedding. All of the other venues followed up with us weeks before the wedding and apparently the flowers are usually taken care of 3 weeks prior to the wedding. I thought maybe this was just an oversight but when I told one of my coworkers she had a similar experience. She sends a wreath to her friend in NH each year and last year her friend never received it and there was no apology. In the end, Allison came to our rescue. She stayed late that night ensuring we loved every detail and gave us a boquet of roses. The owner is amazing and waived a delivery fee and checked with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. The flowers were gorgeous as was the archway.

And she so kindly brought some extra loose flowers to add to my hair comb and my bridesmaids' hair. All of the flowers stayed beautiful and fresh for days to come. Not only could we picture what our flowers would look like based on our conversation but Allison was able to create a sample centerpiece for us to actually see in person how each one would look so there were no surprises the day of the wedding! I thought this was extremely helpful as I am a visual person and as soon as I saw the sample centerpiece, I know this wedding was going to look gorgeous! Evans Flowers created two beautiful displays for the church that matched our flowers for the reception. We had high and low centerpieces which was a very nice balance recommended by Allison. My bouquet was STUNNING as well as all of my bridesmaids! We ordered flower crowns for our flower girls and they were perfection! As soon as Allison walked into the bridal suite to deliver the bouquets, the instant smell of the flowers took over the room and we were all in awe (I even cried!! That is how stunning these were!)! We have received SO many compliments from our guests about the flowers and how taken back they were when they first entered the ballroom. Our only regret is that the flowers couldn’t last forever! They're also the company my mother in law used at her wedding 40 years ago, so I knew they had to be good! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the North Shore area!
