Evanshire Gardens

so happy we found Evanshire Gardens. The staff were flexible and easy to work with. They allowed us to drop off some larger items the day before our event and to pick up items on the morning after our event. This was a huge help and allowed for a less stressful event day. Facility rental included a bar tender, security, and support staff who helped with busing of tables after the dinner and general clean up after the event. The staff were flexible and made themselves available to help with whatever was requested of them. They helped with set up/take down of the wedding cake and even boxed up the left-over cake for us. At the end of the evening the bar tender loaded all left-over beverages back into boxes for us. Thank You to everyone at Evenshire Gardens for helping make our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding day so special. Here some specifics about the venue that may help you in your search for a venue: Grounds This place is a hidden gem located in the town of Ceres. The venue is hidden on a residential street in the heart of Ceres. But don’t let that fool you! Once you enter the property gates it feels completely private. It has an English Garden feel with mature trees and plantings throughout the property which make it feel completely secluded from its surrounding. There are multiple sprawling lawn areas perfect for your ceremony and reception. There is also a large event tent with a cement floor if you prefer to host part of your event under cover. The property has plenty of beautiful options to serve as back drops for your wedding photo sessions. There is a large swimming pool that has a fountain spraying up from the center. There are multiple options for dance floor and bar set up. Bridal Suite/Grooms Room: Both areas are excellent with plenty of room for the members of your bridal party to prepare for the big day. The bridal suite includes a private bathroom and large windows that look out onto the beautiful grounds. The groom’s room was large with comfortable seating and a sink. It is located right next door to the men’s bathroom facilities. Bathrooms The bathroom facilities are excellent and are located near the center of the property providing easy access for your guests from all areas. Parking There is plenty of on-site parking on a large grass area. The area is well lit at night with easy access from the grounds. Handicap Accessable The grounds are largely level and easily accessible. The staff will work with you and make it possible for guests who have mobility issues to drive right into the heart of the grounds for easy drop off and pick up.

t even call me or reach out to me. When I had a meeting with the new owners, they tried to violate my signed contract and tried to make me sign a new contract to charge me extra. When I didn’t accept, they decided to take things away that were promised to me, not “explicitly” in the contract. I couldn’t use the bridal room to get ready in the morning, so I had to rush to find a new place to get ready one month before the wedding. I was promised umbrellas but they were too salty so they lied to me and told me they didn’t “have any” (it was sunny and the selling point of the place was the umbrellas available for my guests.) (and yes they have umbrellas if you see their instagram) They were unprofessional, they tried to scare me into paying more, and when I didn’t they tried to take away as much as they could. The place is beautiful, but the owners made it a 1 star experience.

executed my dream wedding to a tee! It was exactly as we planned. It was as if they read my mind and turned it in to real life. I highly recommend them and would do it all again in a heartbeat!
