Seriously, Shawn was amazing! We were referred to him by our wedding planner. She said such great things about him. It was a little scary going with someone who we hadn't met, but we trusted our wedding planner. And she was right! We emailed back and forth with Shawn a few weeks before the wedding and we planned a call as well. I could just tell by our phone call that he would be someone who would be easy to work with. Shawn has a great personality. He has just the right amount of energy and knows how to make it fun. We also used Event Team Management for our photo booth and snow machine. The photo booth was perfect. They created a beautiful template for the pictures and the staff that worked the photo booth were just as awesome as Shawn. We got so many compliments about how fun the photo booth was and the quality of the pictures, how quickly they print, how you can have them emailed to you, etc. The snow machine was also perfect. We wanted a winter like feel. We used it for our first dance and he used it off and on during the dancing. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Another perk is that he has an awesome mic that he uses. I can't say enough great things about them.

If I could give a higher rating I would. I cannot recommend Event Team Entertainment enough. About five years ago my cousin got married and Jesse was her wedding reception DJ. He was the best and I knew that when I got married I needed him at my reception. I hired Jesse to DJ my reception and he was so much more than just a 'wedding DJ'. My husband and I met with Jesse a couple times before our wedding to go over all the details, work out the day-of-timeline, and talk about the songs we wanted played for all the key moments of our wedding and reception. Jesse was able to make it to our rehearsal dinner and help us figure out the procession, how to stand, spacing, etc. It was so helpful there was no need for us to hire a day of coordinator. Our wedding and reception were perfect and the dance floor was packed all night. It was an amazing day! I give Event Team Entertainment my highest recommendation. They really are the best, very professional, and have years of expertise, they know what they are doing, how to read the crowd, and keep the guests on the dance floor!

Jesse is absolutely amazing as a DJ ! He worked with us in depth beforehand to make sure he knew exactly what we want. He kept everyone in the loop as to what was going on and played an awesome mix of everyone’s favorites. Definitely recommend him and Event Team !

Shawn was professional, approachable, knowledgeable, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Shawn not only played great music and MC'd our wedding flawlessly, but he also RAN our rehearsal the night before! He was so on top of it the entire time, I don't know what we would have done without him. The wedding party and family members on both sides couldn't stop raving about how amazing the DJ was! A few of my guests also told me he had the best playlist they'd ever heard and that they couldn't pull themselves off the dance floor, they were having so much fun. In addition to all of that, Shawn surprised the groom and I with a last dance song that was mixed in with sound bites from our vows. AMAZING. Shawn had an impressive attention to detail and awareness of the vibe and flow of the event, allowing him to make adjustments as the night progressed. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

THE BEST decision we made for our wedding was hiring Shawn as our DJ/MC. We felt choosing the right DJ was important as they have a huge impact on the feel of the reception. From the moment we met Shawn, we felt confident he would do an amazing job. Shawn made our day more unique and special than I could have imagined. Shawn has a kind and outgoing personality, always responded promptly to emails, answered our questions in detail, offered great song suggestions, attended our rehearsal to meet our families, engaged the crowd during dinner with a fun game, and gave us a special surprise at the end of our reception. He was also flexible based on our budget. If you hire Shawn, you will not be disappointed. He was worth every penny and more. Thank you Event Team!

Jesse was our DJ at out wedding in Portland over the summer. He was amazing! Not only did Jesse play great music to keep the guest dancing all night but he helped coordinate and organize the entire day. Jesse also came to the rehearsal to ensure the entire bridal party felt comfortable and gave good tricks of the trade to all involved in the wedding. Jesse was a great asset to our special day!

Jesse was absolutely perfect! In addition to keeping all of the music going and having the perfect flow of styles and songs he was able to get people dancing and made everyone feel very comfortable. Jesse was great in our pre wedding discussions and during the reception! 10 out or 10, would recommend.

Shawn and his team were incredible to work with! We knew that a DJ was one of our top priorities for our wedding, and we had attended multiple friends weddings that used Shawn. We were so impressed by him, we knew he would be our first choice when it came to our big day. We had planned a special portion of the evening dubbed as "Club Leahy" that came from a college joke between my husband and his friends. We wanted this party to feel like a club. Shawn helped us wow our guests giving us amazing ideas to really bring this to life. He suggested gold confetti canons that we had our bridal party set off at the perfect moment, creating amazing photos and really surprising our guests. He provided incredible lighting that changed to the beat of the music and to top it all off him and his team made a spotlight with 'club Leahy' written in it that projected onto the ceiling and around the dance party to the music that was such an awesome surprise. We completed it with a large 6 foot LED backlit sign and glow batons. Our dance party was one for the books and wouldn't have been possible without Shawn and his team. When I sent over last minute song additions the night before our wedding he made them all happen! In addition to a DJ, and lighting, we also used Shawn for our photobooth, which our guests LOVED! The backdrop was awesome, the guests had the option of sending the photo to themselves instantly and it was so awesome to see all of their photos popping up on facebook that evening! Shawn is the perfect DJ for any wedding. He has such a great presence and really knows exactly what to say to keep the flow going, as well as keep your guests on the dance floor! You will be so glad you hired Shawn for your big day!

You need Jesse Bearden to DJ your wedding. He was a pleasure to work with, and he knew what he was doing. He made the wedding and reception flow seamlessly. I got many comments after the wedding about what an amazing DJ we had. I felt at peace about him running the reception while we were gone for almost an hour taking pictures. He is a nice guy who is a top professional. He followed our wishes on music choice, but he was able to come up with an amazing playlist without us spelling it our for him. Great music, great Emcee, great vendor to work with. DJs can make our break a reception. Jesse did an outstanding job!

Shawn was the absolute BEST DJ around!! He had great timely communication in the planning stage and made sure to meet with us before the wedding to really understand the vibe we wanted for our big day. He also set up backlighting that was AMAZING and made the space pop. He kept the music upbeat all night to make the night a big party which is exactly what I wanted. He kept the reception flowing perfectly and was on the mic for just the right amount of time. All of our guests cannot stop talking about how great he was! I loved working with Shawn and would recommend him to everyone!

Shawn was a amaaaazing! He did a remix of our vows in our last song and made us all tear up. His team was amazing we looked hard for a good dj and we found it! He did amazing not as a dj but to make sure everything ran on time and smoothly! If you are looking for a dj then stop and call Shawn and the Event team! You will not be disappointed.

Working with Shawn and Event Team Entertainment was a great experience! He didn't just provide the music for our wedding, he made sure that the whole event was a fun, memorable experience! My husband and I both live outside of Oregon, so all of our communication had to happen over the phone and via email. Shawn was extremely communicative, and we always felt confident that on the day of, he would be able to help us put on a great event, and we were not disappointment! Up until the day before the wedding I continued to ask for changes, whether it was our first dance that I wanted to change, or adding my brother as a live musician during the ceremony. Shawn made the changes seamless, and helped provide the necessary equipment for our live musical interlude. We received countless compliments during and after our wedding about how much fun it was, and so much of that is because of our DJ. Thank you, Event Team Entertainment!

We hired Event Team Entertainment with Shawn as our DJ/MC for our December wedding in downtown Seattle, WA. He had done my sisters wedding a few years before and we knew that we needed to have him for our wedding as well. Once again, he created the best atmosphere we could imagine for our wedding and reception. The second you meet Shawn, you instantly feel comfortable and know that you're in good hands. He drove up to our house in Tacoma, WA a few months before the wedding to meet with us to discuss music and timeline. He stayed at our house for a few hours as we sat at our kitchen table and listened to music and made choices. I am usually very indecisive and he was able to suggest songs for the ceremony and traditional reception activities that I would have never thought of but that made everything perfect. One of the best parts of hiring Shawn was that he acted so much more than a DJ but as an MC and coordinator at times. He completely ran the show at the rehearsal which was such a relief to just show up and not be stressed about who was where or timing. And then he made sure to pace us at the ceremony and then ran the entire reception seamlessly and exactly as we had discussed. I never once worried about a schedule or timeline and everything I wanted to happen did. During the ceremonial dances (father/daughter, mother/son, and first dance) Shawn created slideshows with photos we provided that was projected onto two screens for everyone to see. And then after the wedding, he put these together with the songs we had chosen and emailed them to us. We watched them one night on our honeymoon and reminisced about the wonderful memories created with these slideshows. We were overjoyed with our wedding and this was largely because of Shawn. Thank you!

We had Jesse and he was impeccable! He met our every need and our 80's dance party was rocking all night!

Shawn was more than we could have ever imagined as an MC/DJ at our wedding. He went above and beyond to full fill special requests I had, he included my 6 year old in the reception, and had an amazing surprise for us at the end of the night that had the entire facility in tears. He even ran our dress rehearsal (as I had a family member perform our wedding and he had never done one either) and offered extremely valuable suggestions, including how to stand for the photographer and how closely we needed to stand to get a good sound for the videographer. You will breathe a breath of fresh air and feel the weight lift off your shoulders when Shawn hands you the list of everything he handles during the ceremony/reception at your first meeting with him... What I was really impressed by was that while Shawn is the owner and has employees to help since he is in such high demand, he doesn't just send his employees to do the work every time. He attends and facilitates every ceremony that he is able to (seems to be on first come first serve basis, so book him early!) We 10000000% recommend Shawn with Event Team Entertainment!

I almost don't know where to start! We had great vendors across the board, but I have to say that Shawn blew our expectations out of the water more than anyone. In addition to being personable and a lot of fun to work with, he is also incredibly professional and will do anything in his power to ensure that your wedding is perfect. From editing the first song of the night to a perfect 120 bps (which is apparently not too fast or too slow if you want people to get out of their seats to dance) to acting as our Master of Ceremonies, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Still, two more events of night exceeded even the highest of expectations. The first thing was that my mom found an old recording of her father (who passed away 30+ yrs ago) playing a wedding song on the fiddle. She handed it to Shawn the night before our wedding in CD form which wasn't compatible with his system. I thought nothing would come of it, but during our wedding as my parents were walking up to the stage to make their toast, guess what song was playing? Shawn had re-formatted the song overnight and surprised all of us in that moment. My parents broke out in an impromptu dance for 30 seconds and all of our guests were cheering. I don't think anyone knew that it was a surprise to all of us! The second thing had to do with our last dance. Earlier in the day, Shawn had managed the audio for our ceremony. We start dancing to our last song (At Last by Etta James) and all of a sudden, I hear my groom's voice in the song. I thought he was up to something, but then I hear my voice. Shawn had recorded our vows and incorporated them into our last dance song within the 5 hrs since our ceremony! I had never even heard of a DJ doing that. It definitely brought us to tears and he sent us a copy to keep the very next morning. Highly Recommend!

Shawn and his team were absolutely amazing! He helped to organize and run our rehearsal, made sure everyone could hear our ceremony and toasts, then helped us throw the BEST PARTY EVER! I cannot recommend him enough! His assistant was a hit with our guests as well!

Our DJ: Jesse Bearden Our Experience: AWESOME!!! We had an initial meeting with Jesse and then met back up with him about 3 weeks before the wedding. He was friendly, listened to what we wanted, and had tons of great ideas for us, as well! Jesse kept our guests in the loop with our timeline, kept the energy very high, and kept our friends and family on the dance floor song after song!!! The dance floor was, literally, never empty from the moment the guests were invited to join! A couple of things that our guests really liked about him was that he was friendly, accepted song requests, and seemed to make the whole evening "flow". Service= 5; attentive to our wants; flexible and quick to problem solve when our weather went south Quality= 5; Excellent DJ; good music that was also appropriate for all ages Value= incredible value!

Shawn at Event Team spent time understanding the kind of music we wanted at our wedding and he completely nailed it. He took our suggestions on the feel we were going for and figured out exactly what music would fit. And my husband is pretty picky when it comes to music. Shawn also donated his package to us when he heard about the two major brain surgeries my husband had in the year leading up to our wedding. He was great to work with and I would definitely use him again.

Jesse at Event Team is THE BEST! He took the time to meet with us, and get to understand what we were looking for in music, sound and lighting. And it couldn't have been more perfect! Jesse brings the party!

We loved Sean from event team. He helped our wedding run smoothly and was so fun! He helped everything flow smoothly and really rolled with the punches. So glad we hired him!

These guys are the best in town. Have you seen their reviews?? It's true they are absolutely the best. My DJ's name was Jesse. Try and get this guy if you can. Everyone said he made the flow at the wedding perfect! He is also an awesome family man, married himself, and knows what it takes to throw off a great wedding. He introduced us as man and wife with Imagine Dragons "It's time!" It was so awesome everyone loved it! He is absolutely all about you and how you want your wedding. If you need to invest in a little more in your wedding, invest in this company because entertainment for yourself and your guests is what will make your night memorable. These guys can do that for you! 5 stars across the board.

From beginning to end, Event Team Entertainment was incredible! Our DJ, Jesse, was awesome! He knows his music and clearly LOVES what he does! He was always very friendly, professional and easy to reach and didn't seem to mind all of the (nearly) last minute changes I made. He got the party started and kept the party going late into the night. We went over my timeline for the evening and he gently kept us on track-which I greatly appreciated! It was a pleasure working with Event Team Entertainment and I highly recommend them!

Jesse was an amazing DJ and so many people complimented on how good he was at our wedding. We did not have a coordinator so Jesse was a huge help with everything. My grandpa also officiated for the first time so Jesse came to the rehearsal and helped us out as well. He kept everyone out on the dance floor and helped the reception flow flawlessly. They are awesome!!!!

Working with Jesse from Event Team Entertainment was a breath of fresh air! He is so full of positive energy that easily transfers to the dance floor, creating a dynamic and fun filled event. Not only was everyone on the dance floor having a great time on the wedding day, but the lead up to the big day was also a stress free process with Jesse. He is beyond reliable, responsive and a true pleasure to work with!!!

Shawn with Event Team Entertainment was by far the most professional person I have worked with. He was always quick to communicate, easy to meet with, and so incredibly organized. He ran our rehearsal flawlessly and then the day of the wedding he made sure everything was on-schedule or even ahead!! He is SO nice and kept the dance floor jam-packed full ALL night long. The best communicator, day-of coordinator, DJ and MC ever. Seriously. Hire him.

My husband and I were left in a bind when our original DJ cancelled three weeks before our wedding. Shawn came to our rescue and was AWESOME!!! There are no words to express our true gratitude for everything he did for us!! He wasn't just a "DJ." He kept the entire night flowing smoothly. I received so many compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend him to anyone getting married or planning an event. He was fantastic!! There was nothing I would have changed. He listened to what we wanted and didn't disappoint. We are forever grateful to have hired him!! I really wish we would have gone with him in the first place!

When we finally decided to go with a DJ instead of a live band at our wedding, our wedding planner really only had one recommendation: Event Team. We set up an interview, and Shawn was willing to drive up to Vancouver to meet us close to our house. Meeting with him was a great experience.  Not only was he easy to talk to and professional, he seriously had his ducks in a row about his business.  He had some great materials to share about what we should expect from a DJ, and then provided plenty of materials demonstrating why Event Team met those expectations. He also had some great planning me trials to help us figure out the entertainment components of the wedding. When we walked out of the meeting, we immediately knew that we would sign a contract with Shawn.  He did not disappoint throughout the planning process or at the wedding. He was both a consummate professional and someone who listened to our requests and accommodated them in every way possible. We had some particular ideas about how we wanted to be announced and the music we wanted, and Shawn asked lots of clarifying questions so he could completely understand what we wanted. At the wedding, the music went almost flawlessly, and at the reception Shawn kept everyone dancing and having a good time. We recommend Shawn and Event Team without reservation. 

We had a small wedding, and I was concerned that the guests wouldn't dance with such a small crowd. Shawn got everyone dancing and was able to perfectly match our eclectic love of music. At the end, he piped in our wedding vows and made a song for us and created the most special moment for us of the entire evening. Shawn also did our sound for the wedding, and everything went perfectly and with perfect sound!!!!

Shawn and his team were amazing! He ran the whole show for us (ceremnoy and reception) and kept the momentum going the whole night while keeping us on schedule (cake cutting, specific dances, toasts etc.). At the end of our contracted time he even kept the music going for and extra 30 minutes because people wanted to keep dancing. Overall I would highly recommend him to anyone! He is a day of planner and dj all in one! Worth every penny!

These DJs are truly master of ceremony! They make your wedding flow smooth and make sure everything runs without a hitch! You will not be disappointed with them! They were my favorite wedding vendor.... I would never have wanted my wedding without them!
