The food was fantastic and our guests raved about it. It was great working with Melody and we would highly recommend Eventfull.

to make you feel at ease no matter the circumstances or challenges that ultimately arrive. Last minute change to the dance floor and lighting because of an issue with another vendor? She takes care of it. Worried about how the weather will effect your outdoor ceremony and reception? She works out all the contingencies. Need to have a tasting with both moms? No problem, she prepares a seven course meal with white linens that will rival the best restaurants in the city at her space in Brooklyn. And the food? Spectacular! The hardest part is choosing from so many great options and Melody was perfectly happy to modify some her existing dishes based on special requests. The mushroom profiteroles and NY Strip were two of our favorites but I'm not sure you can go wrong with any choice you make. We love Melody and are already trying to figure out how we can have another party just so we can work with her again.

Melody was super patient and flexible enough to tailor a menu that worked for us, found us an INCREDIBLE price on rentals, and worked within our budget. Then we actually got to sample the food and we were blown away. Melody provided us amazingly top notch, restaurant-level food at a super reasonable price. We were also really swayed by Melody herself: with every detail of the menu options, rentals, day-of timeline, specialty cocktail and budget-conscious request to provide our own alcohol, Melody took everything in stride. She was incredibly reassuring and was able to handle ANY request we had (and we had a lot!) without any issues at all. She and her staff helped us with our setup, turnover, and takedown, which was a lifesaver for us as all the decor and flowers were done by us, but we couldn’t be there to actually set it up on the day itself. Almost all our guests came up to us at various points in the wedding just to compliment the food. It’s difficult to stress just how amazingly delicious it was, and how perfectly it managed to satisfy everyone, despite a huge range of food preferences and dietary restrictions. What made it even more special was the service. We couldn’t believe just how attentive and courteous, warm and positive, all of the servers were, especially Celeste who attended the two of us throughout the night. Celeste anticipated everything we might need, made sure we were fed and had our cups full, and at one point she even noticed the bride scratching her neck and suddenly appeared with a bottle of bug spray! Another of the waitstaff came up to us at one point and complimented our vows, which just goes to show how much attention they gave us even though they probably attend these things all the time. Melody and her bar staff were even flexible with our timeline that evening, and let us add on an extra hour when the party on the dance floor looked like it was still going strong. Overall, Melody went far beyond what you’d expect from any normal caterer. We felt like we were in such good hands, and that we could just sit back and enjoy ourselves. She and her whole staff really went the extra mile for our wedding, making us feel incredibly special, and giving us the wonderful, memorable night we had imagined. We feel VERY lucky to have worked with Melody and her staff, and we simply can’t recommend them highly enough!!

as top-notch! Our guests are still raving about the food - even our European guests, who tend to have high standards. Some of our vegetarian guests actually told us that the butternut squash lasagna was one of the best vegetarian dishes they’ve ever had. We also had a personal server who made sure that we had enough food and drinks throughout the evening. We wholeheartedly recommend EVENTfull! Their price is very reasonable, and the bar package they provided was excellent as well.

he rentals for our wedding the night before (she had a wedding at the same venue the day before) so it saved cost and prep time for our wedding. Of course, the food and service were excellent. Our guests still rave about all hors d'oeuvres and dinner. Our venue only allowed white bar/food for cocktail and Melody gave us creative suggestions and was always willing to accommodate our needs. Melody is also extremely kind. We loved working with her and we recommend her and her staff with no hesitation! Thank you so much again, Melody!!!

our guests and accommodated everyone's special dietary considerations from a special gluten free appetizer table to special vegetarian meals for the bride and other non-meat eating guests in addition to the 2 different entrees on our buffet. One of our guests couldn't stop raving about their cookies that are a little bonus at desert. On the wedding day the service was stellar. From my perspective (the Groom) they were invisible. I've been to a few weddings where the catering staff got in the way and made things difficult for everyone but Eventfull's team executed their job perfectly and moved dinner service along and kept everyone's glasses full of wine. Our guests gave rave reviews of both the food and the staff. When discussing staffing, Melody said she would assign a waiter to just take care of my Wife and I on the day. I first thought this was a bit excessive, but this took so much stress off and let us enjoy our wedding and not sweat the small stuff. So Andrew, thank you so much for being there for us. Not only did Andrew take care of simple things like make sure we had plates of appetizers ready for us during cocktail hour or a fresh drink but he also offered to run to startbucks when a bride's maid asked for coffee that was not yet ready. You helped so much in making our day perfect. We couldn't recommend Melody and Eventful higher to cater your wedding.

She made sure to help us with all of our special requests, including letting us come for additional tastings. Throughout the evening itself the wait staff were always taking care of us, making sure we had tried each of the hors d'oeuvres we wanted and making sure our glasses were always full. We couldn’t have asked for a better caterer, and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Most of our guests told us that the food was one, if not the best, highlight of our wedding :) Her staff is super attentive too, professional, helpful and very friendly. , Melody was always there for us via email or phone for any questions or concerns we had. She is so responsive and such a wonderful, nice person to work with! We changed our menu items a few times and she was always so flexible and easy-going about every little change, and offered great suggestions for us. We did family style dining at our wedding and everyone absolutely loved it and all the wonderful dishes. The Eventfull staff was fantastic too and went above and beyond for us, making sure that my husband and I each had our own full plates of hors d'oeuvres, all the main dishes and every dessert. I can happily say that I got to try every single dish served at our wedding! And it was all amazing. Work with them!!

Which was very helpful as another caterer I got a quote from paid no attention to that. Eventfull's pricing is great too as I talked to her about a budget and she tried her best to stay in it. Caterers can be very expensive in NYC area but Melody made it accommodating. Overall 6/5 Thank you for an amazing wedding.

was always available whenever I was in town to meet me and more importantly, flexible with all of my crazy travel plans. The day of: The waitstaff were prompt, well-dressed, courteous, polite, and were exceedingly professional. The food was absolutely delicious. Three weeks later, my husband is STILL dreaming (and talking frequently) about how delicious the salmon was. My grandmother ate her entire plate of food, and she claimed that "she has NEVER finished an entire plate of food in her entire life". People were floored with how delicious the hors d'oeuvre were (especially the steak with chimichurri sauce) and how great the entrees were. Just one example of how Melody truly understands the industry is that during the cocktail hour, when bride/groom were busy doing photographs, Melody had the waiter that was assigned to us (bride and groom) come and serve us a plate with a sample of ALL the hors-d'oeuvre! Melody breaks down the pricing (very affordable) into food costs and catering costs. We were aware ahead of time that catering staff gets paid after the event based on their hours worked, which seems very practical and reasonable to me. We also knew both amounts well before the day of our wedding, so we could plan ahead. My summary of this review: hire her. Melody understands and anticipates what her clients need. I know I will be hiring her for any future events I need.

only was the loft wedding we wanted achievable, but that Melody was on top of all of the details and coordination that makes DIY venues difficult. She always patiently answered emails and questions very quickly, she walked us through all of our options and the decisions we had to make, and the food we tried was uniformly delicious. On the day of the wedding, all of our guests commented on how great the food was and how friendly and professional the staff was. They made our event unforgettable. We would recommend them without reservations.

My personal wedding servers that delivered the cocktail hour food and drinks to our bridal room were also very accommodating and attentive as well. She also had a full staff of chefs and a front of the house manager that kept the night and waitstaff/bartenders moving seamlessly. I was thoroughIy impressed with how well the night progressed with no hiccups that I could perceive (blessing!). I would say of all my vendors I am the most pleased w/ Eventfull.nyc and definitely would refer them as your caterer! Really. Can't. Say. Enough!

od was outstanding. Not only were we able to customize the menu, but everything that was brought out was fantastic. Not just good, but really terrific. The servers that Melody works with are well-trained. Our guests were well attended to both in their seats and at the bar. We had many people compliment the service as well as the food. We had a wonderful experience working with Melody and Eventfull and would love to work with her again for other special occasions.
