s, Susan was a regular vendor at the venue (The Lodge at Malibou Lake) we had just booked, and we instantly fell in love with her! She went above and beyond being our month of coordinator and walked us through every little detail on our wedding day. Throughout all of our conversations, she was so passionate and detail oriented! I never once felt stressed through the wedding process, because everything was so detailed on our wedding spreadsheet that she made. All of our vendors commented that our wedding timeline was perfect (which she also made herself)!
A couple months before our wedding, Susan had informed us that she was going to have Caitlin take the lead and become our month of coordinator. We were initially worried because we had been working with Susan the entire time leading up to the wedding. But, Caitlin was ALSO amazing. She took the lead and reached out to all of our vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page. On the day of our wedding, we had a couple of little snags and problems - Caitlin was IMMEDIATELY there to resolve any issues and kept us calm throughout the entire day. She kept all the vendors on schedule and our wedding ceremony and reception ran so smoothly!
Lastly in regards to the flowers, we had so many people come up to us to comment on how gorgeous our flowers were. Susan really took everything we envisioned and brought it to life. We truly can't thank Eventive Moments enough for making our wedding perfect. Every floral detail and decoration was brought to life by Susan and Caitlin, and we HIGHLY recommend going with Eventive Moments if you're looking for a wedding planner and florist!

the community - and her amazing ability to pivot to meet the needs of her soon to be bride and groom - would all be an understatement. I was one of the couples affected by their venue’s closure due to a massive fire 2 weeks before we were set to say “I do.” Eventive Moments jumped into action as soon as Susan found out - on a Sunday morning! By Sunday afternoon, we had a beautiful venue locked in nearby and we were back on track for a beautiful wedding! And I mean it, the wedding on 7.22.23 was amazing, stress free, and BEAUTIFUL! Now back to the wedding planning and why we picked Eventive Moments: Eventive Moments was a preferred vendor to our original venue - and as soon as we got Susan on the phone to consult, WE KNEW Eventive Moments WAS THE ONE!!! Susan sounded confident and knowledgeable in her work, knew the community, and gave us so many tips to think about. She asked us a lot of questions about our vision and what we wanted and was able to provide feedback - and this was just a consult call! We booked her the same day for the month of coordination plan. Most of our vendors we pulled from her preferred vendor list, because like her - as soon as we reached out and consulted, it just felt right and met our needs and vision (and they did at the actual wedding - above our expectations)! I liked that Susan was relatable, easy to communicate with, and conveyed she understood what we were looking for - but she was also realistic with us on what was possible, what was out of our desired budget, and how best to get tasks done to get to the wedding day. She was a true partner/collaborator in getting to the finish line and I am not kidding when I say I had NO STRESS on my wedding day - because I knew it was all going to go as planned, because we had Eventive Moments there. My wish for all future brides (and grooms) out there - is you have a similar experience with your planner/coordinator, and Eventive Moments is who you should ask. ver and cause you more stress for your wedding. When we first met with Susan 1.5 years before my recent wedding, I really enjoyed her friendly personality. But as we came closer to our wedding date, everything started to fall apart. She missed an in-person meeting that she had set but forgot about, she quoted the wrong prices and items on her contracts so I had to constantly flag them, she even wrote the completely WRONG names, dates and venue of another couple's wedding to my other vendors when she introduced herself as our coordinator! She apologized for each mishap and blamed it on "the busy wedding season", so I tried to give her the benefit of doubt and hoped that she would pull it together.
Clearly, we placed too much faith in her. She made everything so much more stressful for us and we were completely miserable. Two weeks before the wedding, she called to let me know that she had made another error in the contract. For over a year, we had been talking about her team being available for our wedding day and she even confirmed the vendor meals during all our final details meetings. Now, she was saying that it was actually going to be just her setting up all the decor, floral arrangements, coordinating vendors AND managing timeline by herself in the 2 hour set up time slot. She then tried to make me pay additional to hire help even though that wasn't what we had agreed on from the start!When I politely asked to stick with our original agreement, she snapped at me and basically hung up on me.
On our wedding rehearsal day, she was 40 minutes late and the last person to arrive. She knew that we had to arrive 15 minutes early to sign the last documents with the venue and still showed up late without any courtesy to inform us when she was arriving. Our whole bridal party and family were standing there waiting. She showed up and didn't even greet anyone, let alone apologize to my husband and I. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional.
The day of the wedding was a COMPLETE DISASTER. She was so behind on putting together all the decor that she didn't attend to us, or let alone acknowledge us nicely when we arrived. She didn't inform me that it was time for me to be hidden away in the right place, so I had to direct myself and ended up in the wrong section behind the ceremony area where everyone was sitting. Her solution was to "sneak" me behind the crowd right before the ceremony and assured me that no one would turn around, but of course, everyone saw us awkwardly walking past before my big entrance. It was so embarrassing and she completely ruined that big reveal for me. To make matters worse, she handed my maid of honor MY bridal bouquet as she was walking out before me and failed to notice! When I told her, she ran and yanked it so forcefully out of my sister's hands.
The worst part of her service was at the end of the night. She left my husband - the GROOM - to pack all the items on our own wedding night. He didn't even have a chance to enjoy the end of the wedding or spend time with his family members because he had to help her. In our original agreement, she had constantly reassured us that she would be the last to leave and responsible for packaging ALL of the decor items. We will never forgive her for ruining the day we had spent so long planning for.

For the flowers, we communicated generally what we were looking for (this wasn't a very pivotal item for us) and she did all the rest, making it one less thing we had to worry about. Throughout the planning process, Susan quickly answered questions and helped us make sure we were staying on track. Once we got to the wedding day itself, everything ran very smoothly and we got lots of compliments on the flowers, which were beautiful. All in all, a great success! Many thanks to Susan and Lindsay.

She was incredibly detailed oriented and helped everything run smoothly on the day of. In addition, she did all of our floral. All of the floral turned out perfect and was everything I could of imagined. Eventive Moments is a must hire for wedding planning and floral! They made our wedding perfect!

nly way to put it. She is so kind and patient but most importantly what I did not realize until the day of is that she fully protects your vision on your day. She makes sure that everything you want to happen is happening, everything you ask for is done and that you are fully happy with everything going on. I am a busy person and did not have the time to really think of a floral concept, I let her fly and boy did she deliver. My flowers looked like angelic clouds and came out amazing in pictures. Every detail of our wedding was executed flawlessly because of her keen attention to detail. If you are looking for someone you can trust, look no further. I did not realize how much I needed Susan in my life! Her team that assisted day-of was also excellent. She's very responsive, has wonderful tips/recommendations, and able to diffuse stressful situations including dealing with one of my difficult vendors (I wish I hired her for flowers instead of my florist). Susan was very supportive and encouraging, I felt like I could lean on her when I was stressed with planning a micro-wedding during a pandemic. I truly appreciated how she listened to me like a friend and was able to guide me through the wedding planning process. Susan went above and beyond to make our wedding day a dream come true - including making my bouquet and ceremony look nicer, dealing with guests and vendors, and making sure the wedding went smoothly. She was easy to talk to on the phone and on Zoom and she even explained to me and my ex-fiancé, now husband, what kind of flowers were available in season that would look great together and how they can match well with our wedding colors. She made it work for our budget! Also, she was flexible when we told her that our reception venue can no longer host us the month before our wedding due to COVID restrictions. On the day of the wedding, we were both impressed by all of the flowers she put together from the aisle arrangements to the flower crown, the boutonnieres, the bouquets, the corsages, and the arrangement for the welcome sign! I had a super DIY wedding and Susan and Lindsay saw my vision and executed the set up with perfection. They made sure all my vendors were in place.
