She made sure everything was covered on the planning checklist and let's you know which items/vendors need to be selected by when, so that nothing fell behind or was forgotten. And she was an absolute BOSS on the actual wedding day! She had me (the bride) & our wedding party where we needed to be every second of the day and was by my side the whole reception if I needed ANYTHING, kept us on the minute-by-minute timeline schedule at the reception for the first dances, toasts/speeches, cake cutting, wardrobe changes, dance floor opening, passing out dance floor props, coordinating photographer & videographers, facilitating our grand send off & lining up all guests for rose petal tossing, etc etc!!! I cannot recommend Betsy and her company Events & Experiences ENOUGH!!! She is THE BEST!

She was so kind, patient with my questions, and helped me feel confident that on my wedding day, I wouldn't have to lift a finger. And it was so! llowed everything to run very smoothly. She had an assistant for the day-of, Brooke, who was very sweet to meet us the day before to drop off centerpieces, table numbers, and other random decor. Both Miriam and Brooke then transformed a regular reception room to the best party we could have ever dreamed of. They did great with set-up and take-down at the end of the night. During the reception, they allowed us to stay on schedule, yet were very flexible when some timing needed adjustment. The flowers created by Betsy were beautiful. I ordered a few bouquets, nosegay bouquets, single stem roses, and boutonnières. They were well-priced, and incorporated the perfect colors. I am not well-versed with flowers, but Betsy understood my vision, and turned them into masterpieces. Events and Experiences is essentially a one-stop shop for event planning, florals, and additional decorations. They're excellent with communication, which is what every bride needs no matter if you're in the beginning stages of planning, or the week before.
I would have been lost without hiring a month of coordinator. It definitely helped with all the last minute to-dos. In the end, the planners (or assistants) lost a few things, but the rest of the night went pretty smoothly.

Hiring Bride Associates was the one mistake I made throughout my wedding planning process especially for the amount we paid for their services. Their owner vowed to save us money and keep us under our budget, but in the end our caterer was the ...
one suggesting ways to save money and helping us out. I also put in several hours searching for deals that I expected her to provide. She made promises she couldn't keep and was absent-minded during every meeting, forgetting what we talked about by the next day. On the day of the wedding, she sent her naive assistant to collect her final payment from me 10 minutes before I was about to walk down the aisle. This is extremely inappropriate and ill-timed. At the end of our reception, her assistant lit the sparklers too early and Bride Associates blamed our guests!! My mother also saw the assistant carrying several to-go boxes that apparently were full of our left-over cake. We did not receive the full amount that was left at the end, so Bride Associates must have had a party of their own with almost a tier-full of our cake. I would go elsewhere for a bridal consultant and planner, unless you don't mind being taken advantage of and given the run-around by a truly unprofessional company.

Chelsea was great. I would recommend a DOC for every bride, I don’t think I could have enjoyed the day as much without one. They helped establish the timeline, keep the evening flowing, kept us on track and made sure we were taken care.
