Claudia Draper

Director of Sales & Events

Claudia is the Sales & Events Manager for Mason Jar Group. She was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia, and graduated from Virginia Tech in 2022 with a B.S. in Hospitality & Tourism Management, along with minors in Event & Experience Management and Entrepreneurship. She moved to Charlotte in the summer of 2023 with her dog, Ryder, and quickly found her passion in the events industry. Claudia began her career with Mason Jar Group managing events at 204 North Kitchen & Cocktails. In spring 2026, her role expanded to oversee events across the entire Mason Jar Group, supporting all nine of the company’s locations. In fall 2026, Mason Jar Group also acquired The Loft at Congdon Yards, adding another unique event space to Claudia’s portfolio. Claudia loves event planning because she gets to play a meaningful role in creating special memories for others. From weddings and rehearsal dinners to corporate events, celebrations, and everything in between, she enjoys getting to bring each client’s vision to life. When she’s not planning events, Claudia loves going to country music concerts, exploring Charlotte, and cheering on the Hokies!

esha was absolutely amazing to work with! She was always prompt to answer my million questions and so flexible! We live in Florida so she made accommodations every time we were in town to meet with us or let us in the see the venue! The online floor plan was easy to use before our day to set up what we wanted the venue to look like and she helped guide us through the process! Check out this beautiful place for your next event or wedding!!

than anything I chose this place because the manager, Ayesha Oglesby, is AMAZING! From the moment I met her I knew I wanted to work with her and that I would be in good hands if I did. e venue were amazing and provided the best light! We never had to worry about the weather because even if we had a rainy/stormy day, there would be so much natural light it wouldn't matter. And what made this venue even more amazing was Ayesha and her team!! Ayesha helped us with so many details and really knew how to make our wedding day perfect! We chose to hire Ayesha as our day of coordinator for our wedding day and it was one of the best decisions we made! She doesn't let any details go unnoticed and she really knew how to make our wedding day is stress free. If you're looking for the perfect venue, look no further!!

ess people that I came across during the process of planning my wedding that had nothing but good things to say about working with her, and they were all right! The venue itself has such a beautiful unique character that is so adaptable to every wedding vision. It can even be great on it's own without requiring such a large budget for decor. Ayesha was so professional and accommodating, that dealing with the venue was the easiest part of our entire planning process. For the amount of space you get, as well as the character of the venue, The Lofts is the best venue for your money. We received countless compliments from our guests about how cool the venue was.

the surprise factor from outside viewing vs. inside the venue. All the guests were so impressed and loved it! We took advantage of the Unions package deal where they do absolutely EVERYTHING. An ALL INCLUSIVE DESIGNER WEDDING!! The vision behind this deal is Ayesha O. And she is everything! She is extremely professional, has phenomenal experience, makes you feel comfortable in every step of the way, responsive, always present, incredible vision that translates beautifully, and she has a sweet spirit on top of everything else. The package can be modified to your needs and desires which i love. We even had a coordinator assistant, Stephanie D., who was equally as good. There was no stress leading into the wedding bc they handled everything. I used to hear horror stories about how stressful planning can be, the desire to have the day end, arguments, etc. My husband and I anticipated the day of our wedding, didn't want the night to end, and for it to be just being a few days after the wedding... were still on a high from the execution of everything and being amongst so many family and friends! The venue itself 10! The ceremony, cocktail, and reception space used 10! Ayesha O. 10! UNIONS deal 10. Stephanie D. 10! I want to get married again just to have this incredible experience again. I recommend the venue and I highly recommend the unions package!!!!

d be- and more! Working with Ayesha through the whole planning process was a dream! She is so professional, so laid back, so accommodating, so kind, so helpful, and SO respected and well known in this area! Every time one of my other vendors would ask "where is your reception venue?" and I would reply "the Lofts", they would almost sigh with relief and say "WE LOVE WORKING WITH AYESHA!" She's incredible. I mean, the Loft pretty much speaks for itself because it's so beautiful and unique, but having Ayesha as the Event Sales Manager is the cherry on top! She has been in the business for quite some time so she has seen it all and can give you all kinds of advice. I would sing her praises from every rooftop if I could! I never once worried about our reception venue because I knew she had it under control. I'm so proud to say that I was a Lofts at Union Square Bride! :)

onnect event held there March 2013. It was the first time I was introducing Ben to work colleagues and we both could not get over such a stunning back drop for the event! We absolutely adored the main room with the oak bar, the floor to ceiling windows and the exposed brick. Not to mention the fountain and curved archways and wrought iron work and small bar area when you step off the elevator. We decided that night that when we got married that we wanted to have the reception there! Ayesha is a dream to work with as well. She was so accommodating with every little request including allowing sparklers for our cake, was available for all on-site meetings and gave great vendor recommendations. The Lofts at Union Square are extremely lucky to have her and any bride would be lucky to book this great venue for their big day!!
