An awesome celebration with a terrific DJ. He thought of every moment and delivered great. The lights and monogram were icing on top. The photo booth was a hit with my family. I wo...
uld definitely hire DJ Duke again.
I just had my wedding this past weekend and had hired DJ Mr Duke for it and he was amazing! First of all, his setup just looks amazing! It looked so elegant unlike most DJ set ups!...
The lighting he added around the venue was awesome too and really added to the party vibe. He was awesome at following my list/suggestions and would change it up to get the party going. I've already given his contact info to a lot of my guests and my coordinator was SHOCKED she hadn't heard of him before! The photobooth was so much fun too and I loved getting a copy of all the photos my guests took too! On top of all of this - his price can't be beat either!! Definitely recommend!!!
DJ Mr. Duke was phenomenal! He and his assistant helped our wedding be all that we hoped for and dreamed up. He was there during the ceremony, set up, and knew exactly what he was ...
doing. We had a mishap happen during the reception, but we all know things don’t always go as planned, but he helped fit it! I appreciate the fact that he allowed guests to request songs, as well as be super flexible.
Our wedding was filled with Hiphop/Latin/R&B/Country music and it rolled so smoothly. Again, I appreciate him for coming out and the photo booth was a lot of fun as well!
Mr Duke was on time. He kept the guest on the dance floor with great music. He was super easy to talk to before and during to make sure everything ran smoothly.
My husband and I loved working with James! He was SO prompt in responding to all of my emails - both before and after we booked with him. Even when I emailed late at night, he woul...
d typically respond within 20 minutes. He read the room so well during the reception and kept the party going! He even took videos before and during the reception to capture special moments for us! He was also super kind and professional.
Hiring Events by Duke was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding ceremony and reception. DJ Duke aka Mr. James Williams was super easy to work with, professional and affor...
dable. He came early, neat set-up and moved from outdoors to indoors with no issues. He knew to play all our prioritized songs, felt the room and was able to get 140 Vietnamese, Irish, Italians, African-Americans and Mexicans (adults plus kids) to all dance and had a blast with each other. I have heard nothing but great things about my DJ and thank him for all the smiles he put on the floor. His photobooth was also a big hit and lighting was on point. I would hire him again and DEFINITELY recommend.
James from Events by Duke was great for our wedding reception in Galveston! We planned our wedding mostly from out of state so we weren't able to meet with James before the weddin...
g, but he was very responsive and helpful via email and phone. His online portal was also extremely helpful. We didn't have a day of coordinator, but his online portal allowed us to input a schedule with notes for the reception as well as songs that we wanted to be played. He arrived early, was ready when guests started arriving, and he stuck to the schedule perfectly. He announced all the big things like first dance and bouquet toss so I didn't have to worry about keeping track of time. He kept everything flowing throughout the reception and played all the right music to keep people dancing. His prices were also really good compared to other DJ services in the Houston area! We would definitely recommend Events by Duke for Houston Weddings!!
Events by Duke took everybody by surprise. He played all the latest music and some old school music as well. He definitely kept the party going. I'd most definitely use him again.
Duke did a lovely job for us. He was courteous and provided the perfect amount of interaction with the crowd. Everyone could hear him very well and the music was a great volume so ...
you could still hear yourself think and enjoy your wedding night.
DJ showed up at a great time. He had to set up in two different locations and transitioned perfectly. The only complaint I had was that I sent him a specific playlist and expected ...
it to be played. So I had some family disappointed with the fact that there wasn't a variety of different genres played. Other than that, he was very personable and professional.
