Oh Jess... Is there a 10 star option on here somewhere?! Jess is truly an amazing coordinator/planner and human!! Tino and I hired her as a day of coordinator and we gained so much more than that. She made us feel so comfortable the entire process. Even though she was day of coordinator, any planning questions we had she was there to the rescue. We never once felt lost! After a ton of ups and downs (postponed twice due to covid and ended up planning a backyard wedding) our wedding day was smooth like buttahhh. I honestly don't know how it could have gone smoother... Jess made an amazing day of timeline which she shared with all our other vendors prior to the wedding. That was incredibly helpful for not only the vendors but us and our bridal party/family too! No bride should plan their wedding alone, the last thing you have time for on your wedding day is worrying about the table clothes—thank god I had Jess! She saved the day on multiple occasions with her creative eye, arsenal of contacts, and combination friendly/assertive approach to managing vendors and guests. She was flexible through COVID planning and re-planning, and we truly couldn't have done it without her. THANK YOU JESS!

My venue in Oregon required a day of wedding coordinator and at first, I was annoyed because UGH all the wedding costs. But, I found Jess, who had an extremely reasonable price... and WOW, ended up being the best decision I didn't know I needed. I truly cannot imagine how the day would have gone without Jess. But, let me rewind a bit: my conversations with Jess started about 4 months out. (Keep in mind, I only had day-of coordination package). Jess asked a ton of questions about things I had not yet thought of, and then assembled everything into an organized google doc. She was so on top if it, reminding us weekly of things we had not made decisions about yet. Further, I live on the East Coast and our wedding was on the West Coast, and Jess let me send A TON of packages to her home. I'm not kidding: in one photo she sent, the boxes were stacked up to her head. I tried to DIY a bunch of stuff, and she was incredibly patient. Fast forward to our wedding weekend: again, Jess went above and beyond. She printed seating charts for us, and designed table assignment signs. Oh and did I mention.. she took full control of the table decor with all my DIY items? And the results were stunning. As if the decor design was not enough, she also made sure that the night ran smoothy and on time. She reminded the speakers of speeches, managed all the vendors, and I'm sure did a million other things I never even saw. THANK YOU, JESS! The day was a huge success, thanks to you.

Jessica was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and we'd recommend her to anyone without hesitation. She removed every bit of stress from the planning process, which allowed us to focus on the fun stuff and enjoy the wedding we'd dreamed of. Everything came together just as we'd imagined, and it was a great feeling going into the ceremony knowing that Jessica was in the driver's seat to ensure everything went smoothly. Jessica helped us immensely with every aspect of our wedding: budgeting, venue + vendor selection, communication, contracts, scheduling, you name it... and her expertise shined the whole way through. There's no question that we would have been completely overwhelmed without her help and guidance. Now that we've tied the knot, we've lost track of how many guest have told us "that was the perfect wedding!", and it's truly all thanks to Jessica.

Jess is the Olivia Pope of wedding planning. She was essential to the success of our wedding weekend. We and our guests couldn't tell if anything went wrong, because she handled everything in the background. We opted for the full-package and I’m so glad that we did.  From the moment we met with Jess, we found her to be professional, responsive, thoughtful, honest, and kind. It’s hard to fully describe what she meant to us but I want to highlight many of the things she did. Jess helped us navigate through 3 different cities to find the perfect venue that would fit 250+ people and fulfilled our detailed list of requirements. She was extremely organized throughout and kept us focused with clear Google docs outlining current decisions that needed to be made and forecasting what steps were next in the wedding planning process. She dealt with an Indian wedding filled with obscure ceremonies and did the pre-work to understand them fully. She was insanely good at coming up with inventive solutions to fulfill our desired look and feel within the budget we wanted. And she does it all with a calm demeanor and candor that had my whole family raving about her. She kept us sane and become a friend more than a vendor to us over the many months. Since we began our wedding planning process, I've already referred her to over a dozen friends, so apologies if she's already booked up. We love her!

My husband and I got married on March 23, 2019. One of our best decisions with our wedding planning was hiring Jess with Engaged Life. I was so overwhelmed with planning, the details, the budget, everything – and Jess was there every step of the way to answer ALL my questions, give me suggestions and most of all keep me sane. I can’t recommend her enough. Jess is professional, while also being your best friend. She put so much care and detail into every aspect of our wedding. She fully understood my vision and helped bring it to life. I was in awe of how beautiful she made it all come together. I finally met her in person at the rehearsal and from that moment on I was completely at ease knowing I didn’t need to worry whatsoever about my wedding being a seamless event – all because I knew it would be handled flawlessly since Jess was there. Jess truly cared about us and our wedding – she made everything SO easy. We live in Dallas, TX and our wedding was in Napa. Jess let us ship EVERYTHING to her house and she drove it up to Napa for us (décor, signs, candles, etc. – some really heavy stuff that would have cost a fortune to ship to Dallas, then to Napa). That meant so much to us and just shows how above and beyond Jess is. We seriously couldn’t have done it without her, and she went above and beyond in SO many other aspects of our wedding planning too. We also had lost one of our hashtag signs on the way in from Dallas (it was left at the airport) and I was pretty bummed about it. Jess went out to Michael’s in Napa the night before our wedding and MADE US A BEAUTIFUL HASHTAG SIGN! I was almost in tears – but this again just shows how much care, love and effort she puts into your wedding and truly cares about your vision. She makes sure that you, as the bride and groom, have a perfect event and are able to ENJOY the special day! Our wedding was truly stress-free and went off without a hitch and it's all thanks to Jess and Engaged Life. I can’t recommend Jess enough. YOU MUST HIRE ENGAGED LIFE FOR YOUR WEDDING!!!!

My husband and I are SO thankful we decided to work with Jess as our day-of-coordinator. She guided us in the final few weeks leading up to the big day with airtight coordination and communication. She makes herself available (phone, email, text!) to the couples that she works with and is very responsive, which was so key in calming our nerves and staying on top of every detail so nothing fell through the cracks (especially when planning a wedding remotely). Jessica at Engaged Life did an amazing job for our wedding in Tahoe. I hired her to help throughout the planning process and I could email her at any time or day and she had direct answers and if she didn’t know the answers she would find them in such a fast and efficient time. She handed me most of all my vendors and even worked out prices for me if I needed. She arrived the day before our wedding and during the time I was getting ready set up everything in the venue and it was a DREAM. My mom told me later that she was running back and forth to CVS to get batteries and chalk, etc. I’m greatly appreciative of the work she did and I would use her again for sure.

My husband and I had the most incredible day because of Jess. She took care of absolutely everything with a smile on her face the whole night. I can honestly say that neither one of us had to worry about a single thing other than enjoying every second of our day. Every single “issue” was taken care of without either of us finding out that anything had happened. Please do yourself a favor and hire her for your wedding. If you’re looking for a full time planner, day of coordinator or any form of help with your wedding, Engaged life is absolutely the way to go! I’m not exaggerating when I say that Jessica was THE BEST. I can’t imagine what wedding planning would have been like without her. She took off loads of stress for me by taking over the vendor communication and putting together our extremely long timeline. She figured out all the details, looked over contracts and provided such great advice when we needed it. Not only did she go above and beyond with all of the logistical stuff but she is also such a joy to be around! She made sure our wedding day ran so smoothly and it truly was perfect. My husband and I were the winners of the Engaged Life Elopement Giveaway back in September 2018. We ended up having our wedding in November 2018, and words cannot express how wonderful it was working with Engaged Life. Jess is absolutely amazing! I informed her that I wanted our special day to be a complete surprise for myself and my now husband, and sent over my wedding Pinterest board for some inspiration. Hiring Jess is maybe the best wedding decision I made. I was seriously LOST before I hired her. I had no idea what I was doing - which vendors to choose, how to know if the quotes were too high...etc. I chose the "month-of" package but Jess went above and beyond. I ended up asking her random questions for probably 6 months (sorry Jess!) and she was always so nice and willing to help. She has tons of knowledge so she really made me feel comfortable with my decisions. Once she took over the logistics, my wedding anxieties started to disappear :) She put together an ENORMOUS timeline for all of the vendors and communicated with all of them for the last month so that I didn't have to. And of course she made the day-of run so smoothly. We had an amazing wedding day without any hitches!! I really can't thank Jess enough. You will not regret hiring her as your planner...do it!!!

Jess was the planner for a dear friend of mine and I appreciated the fact that my friend was able to relax and enjoy her day knowing that Jess had everything taken care of. She is super calm under pressure and cares personally about her clients.

We feel incredibly thankful and grateful to work with someone like Jess from EngagedLife. She was truly such a blessing for our wedding and our entire engagement experience. I could go on and on about Jess, but in an attempt to try and sum it up, the top three reasons we loved her so much are: 1) She is impeccably organized with a precise eye for detail. Jess did not miss a beat the entire time, following up with each detail and helping to keep me on track of things I had missed. She did not miss a single deadline, and in fact, kept the experience running so smoothly that it prevented stress and anxiety! 2) She has an endless amount of patience and complete calmness even in the midst of stressful situations. We had a few situations with our venue that Jess just sailed right through and solved easily. She was very good at staying calm, yet remaining firm with vendors to ensure our vision was achieved. Her attitude in every interaction, phone call, email, text, and especially the day of, was so genuine and so calm that I instantly felt better every time we spoke. 3) She has an infectious love for all things weddings! I can't tell you how important this is for a wedding planner. It is so easy to get caught up with the endless decisions and details that you can forget to stop and actually enjoy the process. Working with someone who truly finds beauty and excitement in the wedding planning process helps to keep you grounded and grateful for the entire experience. Okay... I was going to try to keep it three, but I also have to say she has amazing taste and is very creative. She got my vision very early on, and by the time we got to the day of, there were many aspects of the decorating and overall look that I just said, Jess, do your magic, I trust you. What she pulled off was EXACTLY what I had in mind, and in fact so much more beautiful than I thought possible. The only regret we had was that we didn't start working with her the day after we got engaged. I started working with her after we booked the venue, and I wish we had worked with her from the beginning. I think it would have really lessened the stress from the start, and she has amazing insight into venues, contracts, loopholes, etc. that we definitely did not. Overall, my favorite part about Jess is that she is not only amazing at her job, but she has one of the best personalities I know. We absolutely could not have pulled off our wedding without Jess! I highly, HIGHLY, recommend her!

Brett and I feel beyond lucky to have found Jessica at Engaged Life. One of the best parts of getting married was having the opportunity to meet such incredible vendors who all contributed to our dream wedding; Engaged Life specifically. We’ve been engaged for more than a year, so that means we’ve been bugging Jess for more than a year.. thank you sooo much for all your help.. and making our dream wedding come to reality. We are living in SoCal and our wedding was in South Lake Tahoe, it was a little frustrating that the venue and all vendors are miles apart from us.. But Jess makes everything easy. Siiiiiiigh.............. working with Jess was a DREAM. Great listener, note taker, communicator, ease-provider, detail-oriented, all of the above. Jess has a truly special gift and passion for what she does; even a lot of my other vendors have told me how great she's been to work with because she's so great at communicating everything, at answering questions and ensuring all t's are crossed and all i's are dotted. While I designed our wedding, Jess was incredible at executing my vision. She's so easy to work with and treats her clients, partners, vendors, EVERYONE like a friend so she makes everyone feel at ease and that we can be candid and real with her while she retains her professionalism at 100%. Jess is also amazing at thinking of all the details we wouldn't have even thought of; for example adding a couple of belly-up cocktail tables near the dance floor so that guests can set their drinks down while they dance or so that they have a spot nearby for a dance break. That's just one small example of how thoughtful and thorough she is. On the day of the wedding, she was so calm and patient so it was easy to mirror her energy and feel the same way, despite how chaotic a wedding day could get. She was great with ensuring the guests and "bridal party" were at the right places at the right time and was incredibly detailed with the day-of timeline, and everything about our entire wedding day was like magic because of her.
