Every step of the way, she kept things under control, but was flexible in accommodating random requests and questions that we had. During the rehearsal and on the day of her wedding, Faten and her assistants Farah and Rawan kept us calm and made sure that we had everything we needed. She quickly took care of any minor hiccups that arose, to the point where I don't even recall any hiccups because our wedding day seemed to run perfectly and according to plan. I consider myself a very organized person, and I've helped organize and manage other events before, but I wanted to be able to enjoy my wedding, which is why we sought out a DOC. She took a lot of the stress off of us the day before and the day of so that we did not have to worry about anything at all from the schedule of events, set up, tear down, and everything in between. We had a nontraditional, unique wedding theme and she worked hard to make sure that all elements were on theme and came together elegantly. We had already put so much effort into planning and had an excellent venue coordinator who was prepared to handle many aspects of the day. However, the unanimous advice we received was to hire a Day-of Coordinator to ensure everything went off without a hitch. We’re so glad we took that advice! on who kept us sane - answering our questions, giving advice, creating a detailed timeline, coordinating with other vendors, helping us with our rehearsal, figuring out furniture setup/logistics for the ceremony/reception, and she even helped with transportation logistics (and gave hair/makeup recs when some other plans fell through!). As another above and beyond, she generously let us borrow a ton of her signage, bubble guns, and other decor items which would’ve amounted to several hundreds of dollars. She anticipated the things we would forget (eg some carafes as part of the ceremony at a winery) and coordinated with other vendors to get everything covered. There was never a lack of communication as we had several email threads, phone calls, or in-person meetups to go over progress status, where we stood within our budget, what was needed to book or review giving us ample opportunity to ask any questions, make any suggestions or voice any concerns. Through these encounters, she learned more and more about our personalities which helped her pull together a wedding that was unique to who we are as a couple. Through the important process of finding our ceremony and reception venue she really listened and cared to what we wanted and was able to select venues that fit perfectly with our vision, in the end finding one that both met our wants as well as within our budget. She was very mindful of our budget and was always on point in keeping us in the know when we were nearing our specified cap, and if we were going to go over by how much and if there was anything we could change or omit if we weren’t inclined to go over. She put in the extensive time, effort, and research into putting together a memorable night for us and the wedding hadn’t even happened yet! She was nothing short of exceptional come our wedding day coordination everyone in the chaos, making sure everything was absolutely perfect, and most importantly everyone was happy (as much as anyone person can please everyone). Most importantly, she made me feel at ease and I didn’t worry about anything as I knew this day was in the most capable hands. Our wedding turned out better than I could have ever imagined, and I could not have chosen a better person to be my wedding planner. She joined me at my final walk-through with the venue, had additional questions to ask the venue to help make the day smoother for us and other vendors. *Day of Wedding: Faten and her crew were quick, efficient, and so friendly!
