never realize how much actually goes into wedding planning. Jess alleviated all of my stress and she kept me on track over the 10 months of planning. We'd hop on planning calls and she would ask how I was and I would just have this deer in the headlights look on my face that screamed "NO!" lol By the end of the call, she'd follow up and ask the same question and I would feel so much better. y venue provided an on-site coordinator already. I ended up making the commitment to Jessica, and am so glad I did! She brought mine and Nick’s vision to life, decorated the ceremony venue and reception venues according to the specifications I provided her (decoration set up was something our on-site ceremony coordinator did not provide). And she kept all of our items organized. By the end of the night, all 4 boxes of décor found their way back to our hotel room with nothing lost or out of place. Even Nick said “I’m glad we hired her. I didn’t think we’d need the services, but it turns out we actually did.” She was also more than helpful prior to the day-of coordination. When we had our initial online discussions with her, she kept me organized and reminded me of details that should be considered prior to the day-of. Without her, I would’ve certainly forgotten at least a couple of things! Her service allowed Nick and I to immerse ourselves in the experience of our wedding and enjoy every happy moment without any problems arising.

There wasn’t much time to do this and she managed it very well. The dining reception room looked exactly as we had envisioned. She also kept us on schedule. She and her staff re-packed these items after the wedding ended and made it easy for us to exit without much work on our end. I highly recommend her.

We felt like she read our minds - whenever we thought of something, she was already on it or it was already done. She stepped in when we needed some back up on things and always made sure we were on track with all the details. Even though she had weddings on weekends and I did not expect a response from her, she always got back to me same day to let me know it is on her radar and when she would get back to me. She is very responsive and answered all of my questions. She made sure our vision of our day was exactly what we wanted and exactly what we were thinking about. She even came up with things we hadn't thought about and we were very glad to have her opinion on certain items. Our wedding day went so smoothly and she never seemed stressed or worried about anything. It was amazing and her pricing is very competitive. I will absolutely recommend her all the time!

It was such a relief to know that Jess was keeping track of making sure that everything was happening on schedule throughout the planning and on the wedding day so that I could just relax and enjoy the process. It was so helpful to have someone else coordinating communication with vendors and understanding what the vision was for the wedding day so that I could just show up, get ready, and enjoy. I keep thinking back through the day and realizing all the effort and running around that Jess must have done to pull it all off - it would be my nightmare, but she says she loves it. k. I would recommend adding the time for the rehersal as that was important to getting our wedding organzied. During the rehearsal she provided lots of good suggestions and asked lots of good questions we overlooked initially.

Events by Jess is a fairly new company, but Jess has tons of experience in the Minneapolis wedding industry, and it shows. She is organized, efficient, and to the point, but really enjoys what she does. She came to every meeting with checklists for us to work through and questions to help guide us through decisions and to help get her the information she needed. She is also incredibly accommodating and adaptable. We had an Orthodox Jewish wedding, a novelty in Minneapolis, and totally new for all but one of our vendors. Jess watched videos, met with our rabbi for a walk-through and explanation of the ceremony and venue. She had a great attitude about the uniqueness of the our needs and really stayed on top of them so well! It was truly a pleasure working with her!
