From finding the right vendors, shopping around the area, keeping in touch with us along the entire journey to eventually helping us deal with trying to reschedule due to the pandemic - rebooking vendors and re-arranging contracts. Finally to when we had to cancel due to the pandemic and get married in our backyard instead, Kathie was always alongside us, supporting us, empathizing with us, and truthfully getting through. We cannot speak highly enough of Kathie and highly recommend her to anyone!

e manager... WOW! What a stellar recommendation, we feel like we hit the jackpot. Kathie knew the wedding house top to bottom as well as all the major players and helped us plan a flawless affair for our friends and family. Her suggestions, recommendation on additional vendors, as well as her relationships with those vendors made the process so easy. As an event planner myself, I realize the value of having someone who knows the venue and the area that you are planning in, and she hit all the marks. The main reason we picked the house was because of the river access in the backyard (we dreamed of getting married by the river where we spent so much of our time during our relationship) … Unfortunately, our day was hit with some rain due to a tropical storm, and we were no longer able to hold the ceremony in the backyard. We were bummed and assumed we would have to do it in the living room by the fireplace, but in walks Kathie with her weather app and she predicted that we would have an hour or so of a break in the weather and suggested we set up a ceremony location out on the deck of the house. We were able to get married with the river in the background, during the 45 minutes of no rain, surrounded by all our family and friends, and it was absolutely perfect. Looking back, our plan C, really should have been plan A all along! Kathie was a huge part in making our wedding day a flawless event… I’d do it again with her in a heartbeat (maybe a vow renewal in a few years!).

Once we started working with Kathie, I realized we would NOT have been able to do it without her… even if we didn’t move. She thought of everything and was always two steps ahead. She embraced our family’s insane and sometimes confusing personalities and was able to find a way to manage everyone. She found solutions to any problem that came up, negotiated with vendors, made the vision come to life in a way that was better than we imagined, was always super responsive, stayed cool, calm and collected, and always made us feel important even though she had a bunch of other weddings going on and goats to feed. I don’t know how she does it. Kathie was able to do so much (sometimes I thought she might actually be 5 or 6 different people). We had the time of our lives — a lot of that has to do with Kathie. My parents and in-laws are already trying to marry off another sibling so that we can work with her again. If you’re looking for a wedding planner, absolutely hire Kathie. If you’re not looking for a wedding planner, invite Kathie to be your aunt during the wedding planning process and then pay her well (that’s what it feels like we did).

It didn't take long for the wedding party to realize that she was the expert who knew how everything should be. Multiple people at the event mentioned how smoothly everything went and how beautiful the reception and rehearsal dinner decor was. As the mother of the bride, I relied heavily on her guidance and she was so supportive and calm. Her knowledge of the venue was key as well and she knew just what to do in situation A, B and C. My mother observed that she was "worth her weight in gold". We are so grateful for her and her staff for making our weekend one to remember the rest of our lives.

We were always ahead of or on schedule, everything was extremely organized, she thinks of EVERYTHING, and her team was spot on! They did so many extra things for us to make sure our day was perfect (grilled our steaks, made our desserts homemade (the best cheesecake we have EVER had), received and steamed our linen napkins, picked up chick fil a for the kids, made centerpieces, all of our linen rentals, and beautiful place setting rentals, all set up and break down, ceremony archway rental and decoration, she offered to bring us eggs from her chickens for breakfast and flowers from her yard, hand delivered all three catered meals since the caterer was booked but she believed in his cooking so much she didn’t want us to be without (she was right, it was the best I’ve ever had at a wedding).. omg I could go on and on about her generosity, great taste and hard work). Did I mention she lives in NC and our venue was in North GA and she drove down with supplies and food three days in a row. Seriously, she will go to the end of the earth for her brides with sweetness and a smile. SHE AND HER TEAM ARE AMAZING and you will feel like family in the entire process!

While she has the experience and was involved in every detail from recommending Splendor Mountain for the ceremony to what type of dinnerware to use, the great thing is she listened to our daughter’s vision of her big day and then made her recommendations. Her organization and communication is second to none and allows for every detail no matter how small to be accounted for, keeping everything straight and on schedule and allowing us keep our sanity and enjoy the memories being made. Then to top it off when God decided it needed to rain all day on the big day and we thought all may be ruined Kathie stepped up again to quickly come up with an alternative plan that still lived up to our daughters vision while also keeping everyone as dry as possible. What a wonderful weekend we had and a large part of that was because of Kathie. Don’t hesitate to place your trust in her for your big event no matter what it is.

d an exquisitely planned wedding day. I could not have asked for a more organized, communicative, caring and detail-oriented person to help our special day go according to plan. I would recommend Kathie to any bride or for any event. She is polished, professional and THAT good! She also has great recommendations when it comes to other vendors and style. We used her recommended photographer and baby sitters for guests and were so, so pleased! I cannot say enough or thank Kathie enough other than to say if you want your day to go smoothly, she's your girl! :-)
