If you are searching for a wedding planner- look no further than Mailyse.
Hiring Mailyse for our wedding was, without a doubt, the best decision we made. She was reliable, thought...
ful, incredibly professional and meticulously organized. Mailyse has an immense depth of knowledge and skills for wedding planning, and has an extensive and reputable resource list which helped us select the perfect vendors that aligned our vision and preferences within our budget. A huge priority for us was food selection. The catering company Mailyse found for us was exactly what we wanted, and was easily one of the greatest highlights of the day. Our guests still rave about the elaborate charcuterie board and paella- it was truly unforgettable and very special to us!
She was available whenever we needed her; her resposiveness to any and all concerns we had along the way showed that no task was too big or too small for her to handle. We trusted her expertise and experience throughout the planning process, often deferring to her for advise - we were so fortunate for her guidance, and her careful reassurance made us feel confident in our decision making. No detail during planning was overlooked. She demonstrated remarkable responsibility and responsiveness throughout the entire process. Every call had a detailed agenda, and she provided recap emails so we always left knowing what she needed from us and we received an outline of what tasks she would be tactiling next. Her proactive approach made it feel like she was anticipating our needs, which completely dimished our stress. We were constantly reminded through her actions and demeanor that our day was in extremely capable hands!
Her day of coordination was impressive, to say the least. Mailyse was able to synthesize our wedding vision and execute each aspect cohesively. Mailyse and her wonderful team ensured everything ran smoothly and efficiently, allowing us to truly enjoy the day without a single worry. Mailyse worked tirelessly throughout the entire day ensuring our timeline she precisely crafted flowed with ease, and she consistently carried herself with poise and excitement anytime we passed by her. Mid-way through our tented reception dinner, it began to rain. Mailyse and her team had swiftly and seamleasly relocated the bar and hydration station underneath the tent so the party could continue uninterrupted. Our guests were amazed at her foresight and attention to detail.
Her relentless dedication to her clients and passion for what she does is shown through her work. Mailyse is exceptional and we would highly, highly recommend her for all of your planning needs.

n know was possible. Every detail was thoughtful, intentional and handled with a level of care that made the entire day feel absolutely seamless. From the very beginning, she made me feel supported and understood. Her calm presence, incredible organization and genuine kindness carried me through every step of the process. On the wedding day, I remember looking around in absolute awe. Everything was perfect and I knew it was because she was behind the scenes making magic happen. I cannot imagine what I would have done without her. She allowed us to be fully present, stress free and able to soak in every moment. I would recommend Mailyse a hundred times over to anyonee looking for someone who will treat their wedding as if it were her own. She is extraordinary and I am endlessly grateful for her.

we never would have considered and always stayed one step ahead. I don't think we could have done this without her. In the months leading up to the wedding, she navigated the admin like a pro, and on the wedding day, we were able to be fully present because she made everything run so smoothly. Beyond her professionalism, she is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about making the day special. Working with Mailyse was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process!
My husband and I planned a very big wedding in a very short time frame. It was not an easy feat at all, and Mailyse did a phenomenal job. She was a God sent! We took a chance on he...
r as ours was the first wedding she had planned in Charleston (even though she had extensive wedding planning experience in the Northeast). She planned the most incredible, detail oriented wedding. I had so many compliments on how well the wedding was planned and that people were impressed by how well we paid attention to every little detail. Mailyse’s attention to detail and organization was admirable. I trusted her suggestions with every decision from design to budget to everything in between. When I spilled steak sauce all over my dress, Mailyse was there in a second with fabric wipes. When I started to feel indigestion after dinner, Mailyse had tums ready for me. When one of my bridesmaids dresses didn’t fit the morning of the wedding, Mailyse was there to offer a creative solution. She paid attention to everything that was important to my husband and I, like making sure we maximized our time on the dance floor. She structured our wedding day schedule to accommodate our wishes and found flexible ways to do that when the dinner came out slower than we had anticipated. Our wedding was the best day of my life and there’s no way I could have made that happen without Mailyse! I would recommend her to anyone with glowing reviews. She’s also extremely personable and someone I’m excited to continue a friendship with after the wedding is over. Definitely go with Events By Mailyse!

ible. During the planning process, Mailyse was always available to chat through ideas or concerns about catering, music, timing, etc. (not to mention she has great connections). She also brought a design expertise that we were sooooo thankful for - she helped us think through everything from the wedding colors, floral arrangements, placements of the string lights, to rehearsal dinner locations. She was so detail-oriented and considerate of our budget and brought really interesting and creative ideas to cut costs.
I felt like she put as much time, energy, and thought into planning our wedding as she would have her own. During the actual wedding day, we didn't have to stress or think about any of the plans - Mailyse was already three steps ahead, putting out mini fires that we weren't even aware of until after the fact. She will be your friend, advocate, and trusted planner through it all!
