Events by Shannon

we could of dreamed of I wouldn't be lying. During this process, our original venue burnt down. She quickly helped us find a new place to get married. We also had issues with a photographer and she helped us manage how to get out of our contract and find someone else. Additionally, she has a great resource of having some of her own decor. She has helped make this so seamless and I have given her full trust and control of this process. HIRE HER! SHE WILL NOT DISAPPOINT

the planning process, to checking in on the timeline, to providing so many resources, to all the materials she and her team have to make your day beautiful— working with her and her team was the best decision of my entire planning process. She is an incredibly talented, experienced, and insightful.

ing and made the whole day run smoothly. Without her my wedding day would have been super stressful and I don’t think I would have it enjoyed it as much. Shannon is super knowledgeable and knows how to really be there for you when you need a helping hand. She comes highly recommended from me!

Shannon and hired her as my daughter’s wedding planner. She worked with us throughout Covid. The wedding had to be postponed and rescheduled. She helped us with vendor loses that needed to be replaced due to the pandemic. Shannon met with us regularly for almost two years. She was willing to do virtual meetings with my daughter. She met with us several times at our venue working with their representative. She walked us through their contract which was quite extensive. Even though she works full time, she answered any all all of our emails and texts in a timely manor. She was constantly reassuring. Shannon is extremely cost conscious. She constantly sent us information of sales and cost reductions. Her venders were extremely reasonable. Her creativity is absolutely amazing. She supplied much of the wedding decor from her own personal resources. This not only saved us in cost but also in time. She provided us a wedding schedule that kept us on tract for everything from ordering and mailing invitations and up to the rehearsal. She gives you a wedding day schedule so everyone is adequately prepared and knows what to expect. Shannon and her crew were at the venue the entire day. They did not leave until all the venues demands had been met. Our deposit was fully refunded, In my first interview with Shannon, I shared some problems we had with my older daughter’s wedding. Her reply was “If anything goes wrong you will never know.” I knew I had the right person. Thank you Shannon. Her day was perfect.

up our food/cake and went above and beyond! One of her staff members even drove to my APARTMENT right before the ceremony to get something we forgot. All in all, we would 100% hire Shannon and her team again. If you’re thinking about it, go with Shannon! You won’t regret it.

ontract. This is the last item in the contract for this vendor, which deters any mixed reviews: "Character and/or Defamation Agreement. The parties agree that neither planner nor client will either verbally, in writing or in and/or on any social media and/or online platforms negatively speak on the other party (client’s or planner’s) character." I'm not certain this clause is even legal: https://privacyandiplawblog.com/2017/04/new-law-prohibits-non-disparagement-provisions-in-form-consumer-contracts/

escheduled for the following day 09/06/2022 same time, received my email confirmation and never received the phone call. Not a very professional way to run a business.

crew for several weddings, and they have set a lovely tone for each one. From paying attention to the little details and helping the couples plan each step of the day to transforming the venue into a picturesque display, Events by Shannon is an amazing choice for a wedding planner!

of the wedding ran so smoothly with her and I don't know how anyone ever has a wedding without a planner! Shannon was helpful to everyone who had questions and I can't thank her enough for all her help!

our theme is that you’re going for. Classic, modern, rustic, bohemian- she has decor for all of it. I can’t imagine my wedding without her

! I cannot say enough amazing things about her and her team!

st level. She thought of everything, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Her team is professional, and courteous. Anyone would be lucky to have Shannon be a part of your day. She made sure everything was taken care of after the wedding, and were able to just enjoy our day. Hiring Shannon was by far the best decision I could have made in planning our wedding. She has such a warm heart and personality, and overall was a joy to work with.

r.. It was seriously the best decision we made!! She is so prepared, kind and knowledgeable!! I literally could not have asked for anything more!!

a timeline and understand my vision for decor for our big day was unmatched. On the day of, Alicia went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch. I would recommend Shannon and her team over and over again to anyone looking for a planner/coordinator. My only regret is that I didn't hire her sooner. Thanks Shannon and Alicia!

have ever imagined. Her attention to detail and calm demeaner helped to keep me focused on what needed to be done and keep my stress under control. On the day of the wedding, the outdoor ceremony we had planned for almost a year was converted to an indoor ceremony due to weather. Shannon had worked with the event staff and converted the reception room into an intimate area that was perfect for our ceremony. I highly recommend Shannon if you are looking for a down to earth professional that will listen to your vision and make it come to life. Thank you is not adequate for all of the amazing help Shannon provided.

d I needed some help if I was going to need some help if we were going to have 150 people at our reception. If I could go back and tell myself anything from my wedding, it would be to budget for a planner (which I might add, Shannon is affordable and worth every penny). From day one, Shannon has been nothing shy of amazing. We spoke on the phone initially and she let me know of her services. Moving forward, she as available whenever I had questions and offered assistance in the planning process. She has an online scheduling program which is easy to use and we met up several times before the wedding. Okay, fast forward to wedding day and WOW! words cannot describe how grateful I am for Shannon and her team. When I say our wedding wouldn't have come together with out Shannon, I mean it. Her team was on time, professional, and attentive to what I wanted. The space looked phenomenal. When I came down from getting my hair and makeup done, I almost cried! Everyone commented all night on how great everything looked, including the venue itself. Also, she kept everything flowing and was right there when I needed help (request from the DJ, help with my bustle, photographers needed us for pictures outside etc.). Do yourself a favor right now, drop everything you are doing, and hire this team!

anything we needed! I would definitely recommend Shannon to anyone who is considering her!

y of Coordinators on The Knot and stumbled upon Events by Shannon. We hired her last minute and it was by far the best decision we made in the 1.5 years of wedding planning!! Shannon helped make all of our wedding dreams come true! She sent me checklists leading up to the wedding to ensure I was fully prepared for the big day. On our wedding day...WOW! She was a lifesaver. She did all of the decorating, kept a wedding party of 21 on track (that is a feat in and of itself), coordinated all of our vendors, ensured my husband and I got fed and took a few minutes to ourselves to relax prior to the reception (which was a Godsend and much needed!), cleaned up and did everything in between! Thank you is not enough for all that she did to make our wedding day perfect! The only thing I would have changed is hiring her SOONER in the planning process! She has so many tips/tricks and decor to help you save money and time which are very precious when planning a wedding. I have already recommended her to other brides and I will continue to every chance I get! Hire Events by Shannon and you will not be disappointed! ♥️

erful to talk to and get to know, if you get you work with her your day is going to be such a breeze, as a vendor or as a bride and groom I 100% recommend workign with this incredible human being! SHE IS THE BEST!

sure your day is perfect! We had a venue that wasn’t working out for us and we decided less than three weeks before the wedding to change venues. Shannon was calm and reassuring that we’d be fine and supported our decision and found a venue that very same night that we told her! With two weeks to go she hopped on phone calls, contacted vendors, and rearranged her whole decorating plan! She knew that I wasn’t going to have my other venue and vision I had with it, so she went the extra mile to bring that vision to our new venue. It was GORGEOUS!! Aside from the decorating, she made our rehearsal run smooth, she came by the day of and made sure all was well, and our wedding day was PERFECT! I didn’t have to worry about anything! My friends and family were so impressed by Shannon and other vendors were even asking for her information! I could go on and on about how amazing her and her team are. Hiring Events By Shannon will be the best decision for your wedding! ❤️

ors, decorating our venue and even having a plate of food for us when pictures were all done so we didn't have to go thru the line and our guests were not waiting to eat. She thought of every little thing and was amazing to work with. Our vendors even remarked on well her schedule of the order of the day was so well planned. Being able to not have to worry about decorating the venue or tearing down after a long day was the best. Shannon even went trudging thru the snow to hold my dress so we could get the sunset pictures I'm the snow! There is nothing she won't do to make your day perfect.

sional. She took all the stress and worry from me and even made sure all the other vendors had what they needed to make the day perfect. Hire Shannon!

ils and was just beautiful!!!! I highly recommend Events by Shannon!!!

rfect. She is so selfless and caring. Shannon is beyond sweet and has a VERY strong attention to detail. She took my vision and made it a reality and then some. Everything was perfect from start to finish. I cannot put into words how thankful we are for Shannon and her team. If you are planning on having a wedding YOU NEED HER. She is not as expensive as most local wedding coordinators (she is worth SO MUCH MORE), but she does 10 times more for you than any wedding coordinator we spoke to (which was probably 5 or more). She went above and beyond for us and we are incredibly grateful. THANK YOU Shannon for EVERYTHING. I honestly have no idea what we would have done without you ♥️

l is intricately thought of and executed. Not only the physical details but in the timeline for the day as well. She thinks of anything and everything and makes sure if you want it, it’s going to happen!

l event with her creative touches. She managed all the details for the rehearsal, vendors, wedding day. The best decision we ever made!

mily and friends.

ost 2 hours as she went through every detail and she set up a mock view of the reception tables before we even put down a deposit!
