The staff throughout our stay at the hotel from the front desk to the club lounge level were all superb - so incredibly friendly & wonderful. In addition to Shaun’s expertise with Langham, he was also able to provide the best recommendations for all services (floral, photography, music, clothes, etc), and we were ecstatic with the options that he provided. Shaun & Emily also organized a fantastic tasting menu experience, rehearsal, and really allowed us to appreciate and explore the Langham before our wedding day. Because of our wonderful experience with the Langham, my husband and I and our extended family will all be lifelong Langham fans. We are greatly looking forward to celebrating our anniversaries and more at not only Chicago Langham but also internationally!

laxation went out the window when I began planning my wedding. If you are a bride, or have been, you may know all too well, the phenomenon I write of. All that to state that Shaun was the person that kept it together for me when I started to get bride brain. I trusted him and he knew exactly what he was doing. I was married at the Saddle and Cycle Club in Chicago, IL. Shaun was the person that transformed an already dream like venue into a heaven for my husband, my family, and for me. My wedding was more than I expected in terms of opulence; things were right on schedule, and I did not have to think. All I had to do was smile. I juxtaposed this to other weddings I have attended or stood up in. If you want the experience of being able to soak in the day, you hire Shaun and you trust his judgment with vendors. We certainly discussed, at length, how things will look and turn out. I was still in shock when I saw the way he transformed the space. He even came to my rehearsal to ensure that everyone was ready, and happy. He guided my mom, (who I love…but wedding tension is inevitable). He was there to soothe her and reassure her about all the small things, which I no longer had the patience for. Sorry, mom. :) Shaun is not just the most stylish person in Chicago. He is a therapist, a stoic professional, an expert in patience, and most importantly, a hard worker. He knows what he is doing and has the right connections. Weddings can be a tense time between family members requesting a lot of you. Whatever was needed, even last minute, he honored, with class. Not once has Shaun said a negative word about any person. I think this speaks to his character. I have seen this firsthand even when I am being gossipy. He is far too mature to ever say a bad word about anyone or anything. I find this admirable in an industry where it would probably be easy to get emotional. Not Shaun. This is rare. Let me circle back to him being a hard worker. Shaun is far too classy to ever get catty. He has a job to do and that is all that matters to him. A wedding planner with this kind of maturity and professionalism is where you need to look. Allow me to say what Shaun never will: a lot of wedding coordinators have their heads in the clouds. Shaun isn’t going to brag about his tenacity so allow me to on his behalf. Meanwhile, while others prioritize how things “could” be, Shaun delivered what you wanted, ahead of schedule. He is no nonsense, and yet, has a friendly heart and an empathetic spirit. When you hire him, yes, you get the opportunity of a lifetime to have a gorgeous wedding. You also get an organized professional who is quick, doesn’t sleep but somehow functions like he’s rested for a lifetime, and an intelligent player in the realm of the wedding game in Chicago. He also dresses like a model, and understands the world of high fashion. How one person can do so much is mind boggling, but I’m just thanking the fates that we met. I wish I could hire him as my life coach, and you’ll want to be his friend too. It is not a secret that I love Shaun and will always support him. Shaun was extremely detail oriented and made sure to coordinate with all the vendors we selected for our wedding venue. He is familiar with many of the vendors in the Chicago area and made it very easy to communicate with them. Shaun was also excellent as he was able to make suggestions about which vendors best suited our needs and helped tailor our selections to what we envisioned for the big day. He quickly became the point person when it came to contacting our wedding vendors and was on top of every little detail. Shaun made sure to plan for all possible scenarios that could happen the day of our wedding to ensure that there would be backup plans in case something went awry. He does his best to even negotiate with the vendors to get his clients a bit of a discount :) He thinks ahead and prioritizes establishing a safe and friendly relationship with his clients first. His love for his clients and his desire for their happiness is priority and that priority is evident in how intricately he approaches people. A personal story is that he also helped me put out a fire with a vendor that I almost took to court. This is how much you can be confident that he will be in your corner from beginning til the absolute end. He held my hand through this crazy wedding planning process. He watched me and comforted me even when I was emotionally in shambles and went all bridezilla. In order for me to fully describe my appreciation and respect for Shaun will require me to write out a novel. But I will make sure I conclude with this simple note.
