Working with Sheavonne was such a wonderful experience. I met with a lot of planners before finding Sheavonne and what I loved about her was that she was down to earth and easy to talk to. She kept me on track and introduced me to vendors that were amazing. She listens to what you want and does her best to make it happen. Our wedding day ran smoothly and even the hiccups she managed and kept this calm. We had a beautiful day and if I could do it again I would choose Sheavonne.

Sheavonne's day-of coordinator package may have been our most important and best wedding purchase! She knew our venue (Wythe Hotel) inside and out and kept everything running smoothly and as scheduled. It was comforting to see her smiling face throughout the wedding night as we knew we didn't need to worry about anything. Sheavonne's rates were surprisingly reasonable and totally worth it. Sheavonne was our rock on our March wedding day! We hired her as our day-of wedding coordinator, and she was exceptionally responsive to emails throughout the entire planning process, answering all my questions promptly. Even with heavy rain, she kept me calm and handled every issue smoothly. Sheavonne’s calming presence and problem-solving skills were priceless. When people ask us what we learned from planning a wedding, one of our biggest recommendations is hiring a coordinator. We would recommend not just any coordinator, but Sheavonne and her team at Events by Sheavonne. We hired Sheavonne as our day-of coordinator as she was a recommended vendor for our venue. However, we have the utmost confidence that Sheavonne and her team could coordinate any event, anywhere. We were incredibly impressed with the level of organization that Sheavonne brought to our event. She asked questions that we haven't even thought of, and ensured that every piece of decor for our wedding was accounted for. We especially appreciated that Sheavonne designated time for a private moment for ourselves immediately after our ceremony. We did not think of including this in our timeline and in retrospect, it was so nice to have this moment in our day. My review echos many of the those posted before me. We hired Sheavonne as a day of coordinator for our intimate wedding at the Wythe. Her and her team are rockstars. I had no idea where to start with the timeline and the month of we met and a timeline was put together and all my vendors made aware. Sheavonne and Leila (apologies if that is not how it is spelled!) kept things running day of without a hitch and were there anytime I had a question. Shout out to Sonille who joined our meetings and kept track of every detail. So glad I chose Sheavonne’s team for our special day!

Sheavonne and her team were absolutely perfect for our Brooklyn wedding. We hired them as a day-of coordinator, but their work ended up going way beyond that. They coordinated much of the preparation and logistics for of all our vendors, and helped us form a coherent and workable schedule for the full day. On the wedding day, Sheavonne and her team handled all of the vendor arrivals and made sure things were progressing as planned, allowing us to enjoy a stress-free big day. We could not recommend Sheavonne enough for any event.

Sheavonne was everything and more that we could have asked for! Our wedding was somewhat complicated, involving multiple different locations in the NYC area, and involved boarding and disembarking from a cruise boat. However, this was no challenge for Sheavonne and her team. She effectively resolved so many small problems before they turned into full-on crises during the entire weekend of our wedding-typically, she'd have a potential issue thwarted (e.g., missing flower girl basket, delayed ceremony start) solved before we could even bring it to her attention. She served as our day-of coordinator, but her services went so far beyond just the "day of". Sheavonne and her team were fully on top of coordinating with all of our vendors months in advance, walking through the event space, developing and keeping us to a timeline, and making sure that everything ran efficiently. They also have excellent contacts in the NYC area and helped us with a few last minute vendor bookings. In addition to everything, Sheavonne and her team are extremely prompt, thorough, reliable, and just wonderfully kind, pleasant, and a joy to work with. We cannot recommend them enough!

Sheavonne and her team absolutely killed it for our intimate wedding at the Wythe Hotel!! She was so easy to work with from start to finish. She is extremely organized and made a detailed timeline for the day of and was diligent about getting that timeline around to all the vendors. We got married on 8/13, and I've been meaning to write this since. Sheavonne and her team were flawless. Even available to answer questions post-wedding since I flew out for my honeymoon immediately. Events by Sheavonne was amazing!! Sheavonne was our Day of coordinator and stepped in a month before our wedding to help us put all the finishing touches on our day. She along with her team made the day run incredibly smooth. We didn’t have a rehearsal because most of our bridal party members were out of state. But that was no issue because Sheavonne went over what to do with everyone and also cued everyone when they needed to walk. The rest of the day went on without a hitch! Everything flowed seamlessly and the wedding was amazing! I also have to mention that Sheavonne and her team put together all of our DIY decorations and it completely blew us away! We booked Sheavonne for day of coordinating, she also assisted us a few weeks out to get organized, create a timeline, and visit the ceremony space. I’m so happy that we booked her and relieved to have had the extra help & support! Sheavonne is the best wedding planner in the tri-state area. That’s not hyperbole. Her rates were amazing from the start. She is detailed, patient, kind, smart, funny, real. She gives you a kick to get going if you need one. Weekly checklists to keep you on track. Always on time (she wasn’t late for a single meeting. Ever. That’s important to me) She includes unlimited face to face meetings. She was straightforward and honest. She even picked up on when I was starting to make decisions due to overload vs choosing what I really wanted. She was the perfect planner and I honestly am not sure I would’ve made it down the aisle without her.
