tely, there were significant coordination issues on our wedding day and in the follow-up that I think future couples should consider. The biggest issue involved our marriage license. I packed it several days before the wedding in a clearly labeled container with our ceremony items. Shortly before the ceremony, it could not be located. Rather than communicating directly with me and our vendors, my coordinator and her team stepped away to search while my officiant and photo/video teams were asking me why the ceremony had not started. As the bride, I had no phone or way to monitor the time and had intentionally entrusted timeline and vendor management to my coordinator. I had no practical way to locate my coordination team while in a heavy wedding dress, so I asked my husband and father to find them and determine what was happening. Eventually, our venue director realized what was happening, came to get the ceremony underway, and apologized that she had not intervened sooner. The search delayed the ceremony by 30 minutes, compressed our timeline, shortened our reception, and caused us to miss cocktail hour with our guests and the sunset photos we had intentionally built into our timeline. The delay also had tangible consequences. My hair and makeup team later told me they were not adequately updated as the timeline changed, contributing to them staying beyond their contracted time and charging $600 in overtime. Managing the timeline and communicating changes to vendors was a key responsibility I hired my coordination team to perform. Because the marriage license was never found, we also had to obtain a duplicate from the City Clerk, coordinate signatures weeks later, and complete an administrative process that should have been finished on our wedding day. What disappointed me most was not simply that something went wrong—weddings are complex, and unexpected situations happen. It was the lack of coordination and communication when those situations occurred. Multiple vendors later told me they did not feel informed as the timeline changed, and I felt there was insufficient oversight despite hiring a coordinator to manage logistics, communication, planning, and important items for the venue. After the wedding, I discussed these concerns with the coordinator. Her position was that neither she nor her team ever saw the marriage license and therefore could not accept responsibility. From my perspective, the issue was never simply who physically handled the document, but that the coordination, communication, and timeline management I hired a coordinator to provide broke down when a problem arose. This was also not the only moment during the day where I felt communication and coordination could have been stronger, but it was the most impactful to our experience. We were ultimately offered $200 to resolve the matter through a settlement agreement, which we chose not to sign. Our wedding itself was wonderful, and we have many happy memories of the day. We appreciated her planning support, help replacing our officiant, and the care she showed after a death in my family the week before our wedding. This review is not meant to suggest everything went poorly, but to provide future couples with an honest account of our experience so they can make an informed decision.

f expertise, and creative problem solving to help our special day. At no time did I think we were one of many clients. Simultaneously we were assured of her experience. Her hard work and leadership during the planning process helpd us execute our vision for our wedding so that on the day events were seamless and we were able to enjoy it. She helped us pick vendors and lead us through decisions that would execute our vision and best represent our creativity. She answered our questions without any judgment, assuaging us of all anxieties. One moment we will remember the most during the planning process was her coming all the way from her home to our small church in Brooklyn for our church rehearsal on a chilly Monday night in March. Not only was she focused and prepared; we were struck by how motivated she was to see the church, meet the priest, along with our wedding party and hug our four-year-old flower girl. We cannot recommend her enough.

usted, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. During the planning process, communication and availability were limited. Meetings were only offered during specific weekday business hours, which made coordination difficult. As planning progressed, we also noticed a lack of attention to detail and limited proactive communication with our vendors. While we understand she tried her best, unfortunately the most serious issues occurred on the day of our wedding. Due to a breakdown in communication and coordination, one of the largest transgressions was with the lack of communication with our transportation for our guests and bride and groom vintage car service, which resulted in additional fees and significant stress on what should have been a smooth transition between events. There were also several items we had prepared in advance that were never used or displayed. For example, custom cocktail napkins we had designed specifically for the event were never placed out, and specialty favors that had been delivered to the venue in advance with confirmation from the coordinator that they would be set up were never distributed to guests. By the end of the evening, we found ourselves managing logistical details that we had expected our coordinator and their team to handle. In addition, several personal and sentimental items were left behind at the venue after the event. Thankfully the venue contacted us directly so we could retrieve them, but we are still attempting to locate other missing items and have not received responses to our follow-up messages. Every couple hopes their wedding day will run smoothly with the support of their coordinator. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and we would strongly encourage couples to carefully evaluate whether this vendor is the right fit for their event.

es in your planning that you never would have thought of until the day of, and will suggest creative solutions to make sure everything goes smoothly. Working with her and her lovely team was so easy, and they made the day a true dream come true without having to deal with logistics or snafus!
