Sloane is GREAT in communicating - she welcomes text messaging questions or calls, is responsive to emails, and is someone you want to help plan your day. We stumbled upon Sloane and team as she was setting up for another wedding of all things. We signed on with her about 4 months out from our big day (we had already done some of the leg work). Sloane had another wedding booked on our day, but still chose to accept our wedding. We were lucky enough to have Elena - Sloane's lead planner. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Elena. If you are looking for a planner that has industry knowledge and vendor expertise, choose Events by Sloane! Another huge bonus, we were struggling with a particular vendor cost - Sloane was able to reach out to her vendor contacts and got us a new quote that was $5-6k LESS than what we had originally found, with a different vendor but all the same items! HUGE! We look forward to staying in touch with the EBS team for years to come. They are world class and high energy! Love them!

It is great to meet someone with so much knowledge and passion for what they do. Sloane made all the processes for our bride go so smoothly and she had everything handled, was extremely professional and personable. I wish I could have had her at my own wedding. She was open to speaking with me (MOH) and was able to ask her questions that I had and share concerns that I had experienced at my own wedding. She had an answer for everything and had anything I could think of already planned and handled. I was able to relax and just have a blast celebrating with the bride. Sloane is one of the most dedicated and talented wedding planners in Arizona. Her many years experience give her the Veteran title in the industry and it shows! She cares so much for her couples and makes their experience all that it should be and SOOOO much more on their wedding day. First things first, WE LOVE SLOANE!! But let me start off by saying that I was actually annoyed that our wedding location required a day of coordinator, as I am extremely organized and had almost 90% of our wedding done. But, I chose Sloane out of their approved list of coordinators because she was real, easy to relate to, and very well organized, and THANK GOD we went with her. She is like my fairy godmother. She kept me calm, our whole bridal party (7 girls and 7 guys) on time, and most importantly the family drama I was SO worried that would happen never came to fruition due to her innate ability to difuse situations without causing a scene. She coordinated all of my vendors so well, that neither me, my husband, or my matron of honor had to worry about a thing the day of the wedding. Her wonderful team also put together our arch and our favors, set up and broke everything down and then brought me back the important stuff the next day. Y'all, she went out and bought me tampons because I started my period (sigh) and mailed back my audio guestbook for me since we headed straight to the honeymoon after, she's fantastic. We ended up hiring her for month of coordination and not just day of because she is truly incredible and worth every penny. PLEASE do not look any further for a wedding coordinator/planner, because she really is the best in the game. My dad approved and that's really saying a lot. We love you Sloane!! Sloane and I share a similar background working in hospitality for a large hotel company and sloane herself has years of experience in events. I wanted to hire a wedding planner to help me with a destination wedding in Scottsdale, since I live in Atlanta. Sloane recommended great vendors to work with, and also opened her house to all the boxes of itens I needed to ship to Scottsdale which was super kind of her. Can you help us create a warm, engaging, intimate weekend for 110 friends and family who have been with us along life’s journey? When they leave, we want them to feel thanked, appreciated, relaxed and happy. We want them to have one of the best weekends ever.” We had been to a lot of nice parties and luxurious corporate events. We had a high bar. And a budget. Sloane smiled, assured us that she understood what we wanted, and that she would help create a magical, memorable weekend. She did, exceeding our expectations. She knew all the right vendor partners…hotels, transportation companies, DJ, photographer, caricaturist, florist, and rental companies. She advised on everything from budget, food, beverages, flowers and décor, photography, entertainment, even signage. No idea we had was beyond her ability to deliver. Her years of event planning experience guided us through every detail. She advised on where to splurge and where to find savings. She was always a text or phone call away. When we said we wanted “Wow’em” guest bags with memorable keepsakes, personalized notes and a Who’s Who Book with information about all the guests, she had great suggestions. She took delivery of all the gift bag items; packed and distributed the bags to six hotels and three Airbnb’s in time for the guests’ check-in. The guests ranging from mid-20’s to mid-80’s, from both coasts, the south, the midwest, and the southwest were awed by the beauty of Desert Mountain. Every detail was thought through. It was the “Sloane Choreography” of all activities: Friday night sunset Southwest BBQ; Saturday’s cocktails, dinner, and dancing; Sunday’s brunch and the evening’s post event small Framily dinner that made it all work. The best part…. We spent the whole weekend enjoying and engaging with our guests. Guest comments said it all: “This was the best event I have ever attended.” “I came knowing four people and met a number of new friends.” “I have never gotten such a nice gift bag and it was there for me at check-in.” “I loved the portraits taken by the photographer and the Caricatures. Wow, what can I say about Events By Sloane. She knows all the key vendors. She knows the process, and she works with both sides of the family. Our event was perfect! Thus, she is able to optimize negotiations, and even make things happen on short timing, when that becomes necessary. 3. Slone added peace of mind to this very complicated process. There are so many things to research and plan; it gets overwhelming very quickly. Sloane knows who is good, and who offers a fair price. Her expertise in this area is critical to staying sane. It is wonderful to feel like the ship has a captain, who knows the score. Very soothing and efficacious. 4. Sloane's personal style is positive and proactive; always. When problems surface, she isn't troubled. She is calmly assuring, and knows just what to do to get the fixes in place. I originally hired Sloane for the last 30 days before the wedding. About mid-way through, I upped the contract to full service. As I mentioned before, doing so more than paid for itself. You will love working with her.
