ow better, I would have assumed this was her first wedding. As the bride planning a destination wedding, I felt that I was consistently reaching out to her about what needed to be done / when and how. I coordinated with Terri in October to meet at the venue in December. I texted her on the day we were supposed to meet- to tell her I was very excited to meet, see the venue and talk through some items. She responded if we could reschedule our call- I reminded her I was en route to Key Largo to meet in person. While I was still able to tour the venue, I was not able to discuss specifics with my Wedding Coordinator. The same day I asked Terri for information for all my wedding vendors. I was told my cake would be from Maggie’s Bakery. I had coordinated with Terri before the wedding for drapery for the driftwood to be brought for decorations, she told me I didn’t have to purchase the items and she would take care of it. That never happened, I would have gladly purchased it had she not said anything. During the rehearsal, Terri had us practice one way and then day of the set up was different- chairs were roped off and the bridesmaids had to figure something out on the fly. Causing confusion and the flow of the ceremony being disrupted. After the wedding, I reached out to Terri about a few items I was unhappy with. Primarily the food, guests raved about the chicken entree. However the steak was extremely overcooked and the lobsters were extremely undercooked. My husband spoke directly to the chef about the food and nothing changed. I understand Terri did not cook the food, however she was the one who coordinated this vendor. The wedding cake is such an important part of the wedding and it completely missed the mark. It was dry, lacked flavor and not at all what I expected from Maggie’s Bakery. I later came to find out my cake was ordered from Publix after being told my cake vendor was Maggie’s Bakery. When I asked Terri if the cake was from Publix she responded “The cake included in your package was the standard cake selection. A custom cake from Maggie's Bakery was available as an upgrade but was not selected.” While in correspondence with Terri, she sent me two different styled bars to choose from. I chose the white bar as it matched the esthetic of my wedding. When I asked her about the bar she responded “Likewise, the white bar was an optional upgrade and was not included in your signed service agreement” I’ve attached text correspondence with Terri, where she explicitly states that the cake vendor was not Publix. I’ve also attached email correspondence where Terri asks me which bar I would like to have without any caveats. I referred back to the contract, and it was very vague and gave no mention of upgradable packages. A fault on me, there was no itemized break down to understand the costs of everything. We exchanged a couple of emails about my dissatisfaction without any resolution.

h during the stress of planning a wedding. She truly went above and beyond her listed duties to make sure everything got done and that our day ran smoothly. Her dedication, organization, and kindness made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend her enough!
