nderful venue with outstanding food (Jedediah Hawkins Inn) and thought we were done and did nothing else.
Then 3 months before the wedding, modern days reality set in, and we panicked. We had no idea how to source essential providers (music, photography, officiant, cake, flowers…) and ours was a June wedding. So, the essential services of a wedding planner became our most important search. Somehow, we found Georgena Ryan, owner of Events Celebrated.
Georgena was a Godsend. She knew and helped us contact people to provide the music we required, the photographs that let us relive the day, an officiant who made us feel like she knew us all our lives, the flowers that I loved and the perfect wedding cake. She did or advised me to do so many things that I didn’t think of completing. Seating charts, photo lists, welcome signs and decorations planning. She even packaged our favors and organized many of the floral displays, including our bridal table.
Her presence and the assistance of her team made our wedding day perfect. Nothing was overlooked. Our guests were greeted and made comfortable. The venue was beautifully decorated. The vendors were managed, and we didn’t even know how much was going on in the background to make that all happen.

n realized that we could not do this alone. Georgena worked with us for the 6 months leading up to the wedding. We met with Georgena weekly via phone calls, and each week, Georgena gave us weekly goals as well as provided an updated wedding day timeline. Outside of our formal meetings, we were able to freely communicate with her via phone calls/texts. By doing so, Georgena went above and beyond by being readily available for any questions or concerns.
During our meetings, Georgena was very attentive to our wedding vision, collaborative to help flesh out our wedding vision, and incredibly thorough with its execution. Our wedding day timeline was detailed to each 15 minute interval, and this timeline was shared with our vendors, families, and bridal party. As a result, all parties involved knew exactly how the day/night would unfold.
We had our wedding at the Pavilion at Sunken Meadows. Given our venue location on Long Island and her practice in Long Island, Georgena was gracious enough to allow us to store anything for the wedding and allowed us to mail anything to her. By doing so, Georgena had an inventory checklist that made our lives easier.
For our beach wedding venue, we ultimately went for more relaxed albeit elegant/modern decor. We decided to have terrariums for our centerpieces, and she personally decorated each terrarium with seashells, baby’s breath, and sand on our wedding day.
Our wedding day itself was flawless, and it was incredible to see our vision come to life. The day was stress-free, and all of our guests raved about the attention to details and how our wedding day was executed. It is with many thanks and warm hearts that we advocate for Georgena as your next wedding planner. Thanks Georgena! We love you.

es woes and anxieties. She’ll be your best advocate and keep things moving. Many wedding coordinators can be pushy or bossy but she is truly a wonderful, thoughtful person. I would recommend her to anyone!

I made in my wedding planning journey. Georgena Ryan from the Events Celebrated team kept in close contact with me the months, weeks and days leading up to my wedding. Every meeting leading up to my special day, Georgena was always a calm, poised and comforting voice to hear. She is so knowledgeable and experienced in the business, I would very often find myself picking up the phone with zero hesitation to get her advice and guidance on a variety of wedding subjects. As a juggling and overwhelmed bride, she always brought a peaceful, yet excited energy to our connects. Leading up to the day, we met on a frequent basis to map out every detail of the event from start to finish. She prompted and led our discussions and asked all the important questions and little details (some that I didn’t even consider or think of!). I felt very supported, comfortable and prepared.
My wedding day was incredible, and I truly owe it to Event’s Celebrated. Georgena and her assistants' (Cynthia and Ethan) are absolutely phenomenal at what they do. From the point that my Husband and I both started getting ready in our separate locations, the Event’s Celebrated team were there keeping each of us, our bridal party, and families on schedule and relaxed. They stayed by our side ALL day and guided us seamlessly through the milestones of the wedding. They made sure we were having the best time possible, checked in if we needed anything at any moment and ensured we took time to sit down to take it all in, and....EAT! (every bride and groom know how important that is!). All day and night, the team was truly one step ahead of everything, and prompted us for our next step with notice. The Events Celebrated Team helped not only myself and my husband, but also checked in with our families regularly. They had us completely on time all day, spoke directly with our vendors, distributed our vendor tips, and got us ready for whatever was coming next (The list really goes on and on!). I truly felt like I didn’t need to lift a finger the entire day. I would recommend the Events Celebrated team ANY Bride and Groom, you will not regret it! Having the Events Celebrated team by our side allowed us to be 100% in the moment and immersed in the wedding we worked so hard to plan. Events Celebrated took the lead to coordinate all the logistics, which left my husband and I with one responsibility: ENJOYING OUR WEDDING!!! Events Celebrated went above and beyond, and I am so thankful for all they did for us! Best decision we made by far, and my husband and I cannot praise them enough.
