Where to begin! Debbie was a lifesaver, a champion, and a friend! We don't live in the area, and fully relied on her vendor recommendations and guidance. She was endlessly patient,...
honest, realistic, encouraging, funny, detail oriented and organized! There was no stone left unturned. She has great taste and helped us make decisions. She tells it like it is and knows what she's doing, y'all. We can't thank you enough, Debbie!
Debbie was an absolute JOY to work with. My mom and I found Debbie in the 9th inning of wedding planning and I can honestly say, she is the sole reason everything came together the...
way that it did. As an out of town couple, it was such a relief to have Debbie as our boots on the ground in Pawleys when planning our wedding. Not only is she an amazing person to have around during of a very busy and special time, her attention to detail and organization is unmatched. Communication leading up to the wedding day was seamless and vendors were all in sync. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and every little detail was taken care of thanks to her. Debbie FAR exceeded our expectations and we're forever grateful!!
Debbie Idol was great from start to finish! We got married in South Carolina but live in Seattle, so managing the details of a cross-country wedding can be stressful. Not with De...
bbie; she kept us in the loop every step of the way and flexed her muscle with a few other vendors when we weren't making headway.
The week of the wedding went off virtually without a hitch. The thing we remember most is when we were taking pictures after our ceremony: Debbie was kind enough to bring us food and drink from the happy hour reception so we wouldn't miss out. My wife loved having a whole platter of fried oysters!
Hopefully we never have to use her again (since, you know, we want to stay married), but if we do, we'd definitely use Debbie and her team again!
Debbie was absolutely great! After meeting with her I felt much more at ease. She helped us to consider things we had not thought of before in order to make our day go more smoothl...
y. I was so pleased at how well she set up my decorations that I provided to her since I am not a creative visionary. Debbie definitely exceeded my expectations!
We are so glad we found Debbie to help us coordinate our destination wedding. She was very accommodating with us and provided advice and assistance when needed, as a day-of coordin...
ator plus more. She was very responsive and communicative with me and especially my mother as we approached the wedding day and executed all of the details we defined, leaving us worry-free on our important day. She has also been very kind to continue to stay in touch following the wedding. We highly recommend her!
My now Husband and I chose a Destination Wedding on the coast of South Carolina. I found Events on Half Shell online. Much to my surprise it was a wonderful finding! Events on Half...
Shell helped me plan every aspect of my wedding ceremony! Events worked with vendors to find chairs, an arbor, sand table, memorial table, musician, and hairstylist! Events helped my beach wedding look like a fairy tale! The pricing of Events was reasonable too! I would recommend Events on Half Shell!
Debbie is the most amazing wedding planner! She truly made all my wedding dreams come true :) Everything I showed her, we talked about, etc was brought to life at my wedding. She i...
s the sweetest woman and made my whole wedding planning process so much fun. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get married in the Grand Strand Area!
Debbie is outstanding! Not only is she on top of every detail, but her knowledge of vendors in the area and her relationships with them are so valuable. We were not in the area and...
she made planning the wedding from another city a breeze! She gave wonderful recommendations and was happy to take the time to visit sites and vendors with us! Along with all of the pre-wedding planning, she coordinated the day and I cannot be more thankful! The power shorted at our venue and she was on top of it! Everything was restored before we were done with the pictures, so we didn't even know anything happened! That is the mark of a great wedding planner- when something goes awry, the bride and groom didn't even know about it!
We HIGHLY recommend Events on the Half Shell!!
We were a DIY couple but wanted to relax on our wedding day and searched for vendors to help us with day of planning. We contacted a few vendors in the area and they were super ex...
pensive for what we were asking. Debbi came highly recommended from our ceremony vendor and we understand why. Since we had a destination wedding, she met with us while we were in town and stayed in contact via email with regard to timelines and such. She and her staff were extremely professional and helpful during those day of jitters. Our day would not have come together if it were not for the staff of Events on the half shell. They are the BEST!!!
