Sarah was professional and responsive all throughout the planning process! She has a great eye for making my wedding style come to life. She was also very organized with coordinating communications with my vendors, which was a big help. She's a great wedding planner than I highly recommend!

Sarah was amazing from the start. She listened carefully to me and my daughter (the bride, Alex), had great organization and suggestions and kept us on track with gentle reminders and questions. She also had awesome and controlled flexibility. Alex's wedding was supposed to happen outside on the veranda of our venue, but God decided to make it a RECORD cold March day in North Carolina. Sarah maintained her cool -so to speak! - and adapted and managed along with the venue staff to adjust everything to inside which was no small feat in a 175-attendee wedding. Most everything was smooth and flowed perfectly with her managing the wedding and reception components as well as keeping the timeline. Anything that did not flow smoothly was not under her control. I had dubbed her our CEO, Confusion Elimination Officer, early on and she certainly was that! I would highly recommend Events by Sarah for any event. She is incredible! And as an special added bonus, she is a lovely, sweet person.

Oh my goodness, where to begin with Sarah? What I've told everyone from my wedding planning journey was that Sarah was the best money we could have spent. From the beginning, she was friendly, professional, SO well organized, and perhaps most importantly, undoubtedly in our corner. While we hired her just for day-of coordination, Sarah did so much work behind the scenes. She worked with us leading up to our wedding day to help get the little details in a row (including making suggestions about things we had forgotten, like lunch on the day-of for the bridesmaids!). We had several meetings discussing preferences, wanting to get to know us well as both clients and friends. Then, when the wedding day arrived, she calmly and proficiently handled everything the day could throw at us - including sub-freezing wind chills and catering mistakes. Trust me when I tell you that you will have ZERO regrets booking Sarah. She's got your best interests at heart AND she will make sure your event the very best it could be!

I’m a wedding photographer and I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sarah (and Chicky) twice! Not only did she do everything you would expect a wedding planner to do ( creating timelines, sending out all the information and details and updates, keeping everyone on track, being a constant support for her clients, and being everywhere all at once, etc) but she also took the time to check in on how I’m doing, bring me water, make sure I eat, etc. Sarah has a heart that loves to serve and is truly someone who goes above and beyond to care for her clients and provide an amazing experience. I will always recommend Sarah to my clients and honestly to anyone planning a wedding. As someone who has photographed all kids of weddings over the last few years and who has seen it all… trust me: investing in an excellent wedding planner is the single best decision you can make for your wedding day! Sarah is the reason my wife and I didn't lose our minds leading up to the wedding. The most important thing to know about working with Sarah is understanding how she will treat you: she is kind, hardworking, reliable, and supportive. She makes sure that you have everything that you need leading up to your big day, and takes excellent care of you before, during, and after your wedding. Sarah will make you feel loved and like you are family. From a more detailed standpoint, Sarah created a day of timeline for us that was detailed down to 5 minute increments, accounting for everything from exact arrival and departure times, to when exact moments would occur during the ceremony and reception, to accounting for certain guests arriving early. She handled every fire that popped up, including getting us a discount from a vendor that dropped the ball. She took care of keeping us on track for all our special moments during reception as well. Sarah is very detail oriented, she will advocate on your behalf, and she will not let anyone interrupt your perfect day.

Sarah was my day-of coordinator and she and her assistant, Chicky, were absolutely amazing! Sarah helped me SO much all along the way of planning my wedding from April to December. She was a huge help with all aspects and details of the wedding day and helping me with great advice. She was an absolute dream to work with and made planning my big day as easy as possible and then orchestrated everything seamlessly with all my vendors. On my wedding day, I was sent the wrong flowers and she and her assistant personally got the correct flowers and incorporated them into my bouquet and it was BEAUTIFUL! Sarah truly goes above and beyond and will be a huge asset to any bride and her wedding!! :)

Took good care of the bride! When the florist messed up the bouquet she sent her assistant to find the correct flowers. She literally cut fresh Lillie’s from a pot and made the arrangement exactly what the bride wanted!

I don't understand how anyone could have their wedding without Sarah's coordinating! She is so organized and made the day run more perfect than I had imagined. I seriously cannot say enough good things about Sarah and Chicky. Sarah is kind, organized, thoughtful, and responsive -- everything and more from what I wanted in a coordinator. I first contacted EventsBySarahKY about a month into my engagement (five months from the wedding) to inquire about her day-of coordination package. From the start, I feel like our personalities really meshed well together -- she completely understood that my fiance and I are really detail-orientated and love a good spreadsheet! She met with us multiple times throughout the months leading up to our wedding to give updates, check in with our to-do list, and just generally make sure we were feeling okay. In the last few weeks, she answered my random questions constantly and helped us navigate unexpected situations as they came up. She and her assistant, Chicky, met with us the day before to help set up the venue where, once again, her knowledge came in handy as the initial layout looked wonky. Sarah had insisted from the beginning that she was there so that we could just sit back and enjoy our wedding day and that's exactly what happened. Because we had talked through our day-of schedule a few times in advance, my now-husband and I just had to show up and all of the pieces fell into place. I 1000% recommend Sarah to anyone; she will make your day magical! My only sadness is that, now that the wedding is over, we won't be able to meet with Sarah once a month for coffee anymore. Seriously, book her now -- you won't regret it!

Sarah went above and beyond in everything she did. I would not have been able to enjoy my day without her. She was absolutely VITAL to our day and can not thank her enough for taking care of everything. There was so many things that I found out after our wedding that Sarah handled flawlessly. More than anything, she made sure that I was comfortable and stress-free at all times of the process. They say one thing has to go wrong on your wedding day, but our wedding day was absolutely perfect because we had Sarah on our team. Sarah is perfectly organized, and not only an amazing person who genuinely cares about her couples, when issues (pre-wedding) did come up, she took care of it perfectly with a calm and professional demeanor. Her organization and preparation is incredible She absolutely was the MVP on our wedding team!!

Sarah and Chicky calmed all of my nerves with wedding planning. Sarah diligently listened to all of my plans and ideas, and worked tirelessly to make them a reality. Sarah is an amazing coordinator and I'd pick her a million times plus more! If I have any future events, Sarah is number one on my list! I had the opportunity to meet with Sarah several times before our wedding day to work through the day-of events. She was able to create a very detailed day-of timeline. Her timeline was so impressive that every single vendor I booked with complimented her attention to detail and stated they have never worked with a coordinator who was as organized as she is. During the day, Sarah was accomodating and flexible with any mishaps that appeared. She was a life saver! Most of all, Sarah is a genuine person that will go above and beyond for you!

Sarah is great! We enlisted her help for day of coordination, about six weeks before our wedding date. We had all our vendors lined up, but she took their information and created an amazing timeline! She is very attentive and detailed which made our wedding day a breeze. If something happened, my husband and I had no idea about it, which is what you want on your big day! She and her assistant are two of the nicest ladies around. I would recommend her to anyone.

I hired Sarah for day-of (month-of) coordination. We met several times prior to the wedding. She drafted our timeline down to the minute (and was happy to make the several changes I had along the way). She provided guidance for venue layouts and helped decorate. I asked her to make sure I was not aware of any problems the day of, and she did just that. From my perspective, the day went flawlessly! Sarah was so helpful and did everything with a smile. She and her assistant were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her!

I CANNOT recommend Sarah and Chicky more!! They undeniably made my wedding run so much smoother than originally planned and were nothing short but lifesavers on the days leading up and most importantly, the day of my wedding. My mom literally cried at the venue because she was so thankful of having Sarah there to help. From the planning weeks beforehand to leaving the reception, Sarah had every single piece of the puzzle put together! She was so organized and prompt and thoughtful. If you are even considering hiring a coordinator, PLEASE do yourself a favor and hire Sarah and Chicky!! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding planned by EventsBySarahKY. The wedding had an intimate wedding ceremony and reception in a small town in Alabama, and then a full reception the following week in the couple’s hometown in Kentucky. Both were meticulously planned and carried out by Sarah! She did a great job of making sure the wedding party knew where to be and when, and were well taken care of the whole time. She also made sure there were plenty of touches that made the wedding special and representative of the couple’s love and relationship! I would highly recommend for your upcoming wedding! Sarah and her husband both helped out for our wedding. They did everything we wanted and needed to be done. They were even about to do what I did not know how to say what I wanted done.
