This company was great from beginning to end! The initial meeting gave us a good idea of what we will need and then the final meeting locked it all together. It flowed so smoothly with the time frame we had in mind for all the dances and cake cutting. They played great songs all night and kept people entertained. Definitely would recommend these guys!

We worked with Brian from adventures to coordinate our videography and DJ for our wedding and I cannot say enough great things! He was so professional and prompt with emails getting back to me. He was also the one who did the video for our wedding and it turned out AMAZING. We’ve gotten so many compliments on even just the teaser video! Ryan was our DJ and he was also phenomenal! He knew exactly the direction we wanted to go for our music, listened to the songs we really wanted played and also the songs we didn’t want played. We had people on the dance floor the entire night! The whole night was an absolute blast and I’m so happy we have the video to remember the night by!

Cannot say enough great things about Eventures. We found the entertainment to be one of the most difficult vendors to choose only because you can't get a real sample of their work unless you've been to a wedding they DJ'd for. We mainly relied on reviews and we 100% made the right choice!!! Our DJ was Chris and Brian was our MC. Very easy to work with, extremely quick on all responses, professional, reasonably priced and most importantly, they will go out of their way to make you happy. You couldn't ask for anything more. I only wish all of our vendors were this wonderful. From the first meeting you can feel the genuine want to make their customers happy. We had certain genres of music we preferred but gave free range to Brian to keep our guests dancing all night long. I don't think I left the dance floor once. We enjoyed every step of the process with Eventures and would absolutely recommend them!

Brian and Steve from Eventures were our DJ and MC at our reception, and also provided us with sound equipment for our ceremony. From my first phone call with Brian I could tell they were going to be great. They are so professional and talented and made the process so fun and easy. Brian was available for multiple phone calls and was so attentive and quick responding to our questions. They were able to find even obscure songs my husband requested and were willing to make song medleys and other requests. In addition, they found us string musicians for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests were raving about how wonderful the reception was and how Brian and Steve kept people dancing all evening. They ran our reception timeline without a hitch and were so entertaining. We had multiple generations of people out on the dance floor all night having a great time. I could not recommend Eventures more. If you want engaged guests dancing all night, definitely contact Brian at Eventures.

Steve did such a great job with our music! He played all of our must plays, none of our do no plays, he transitioned the songs wonderfully, and he worked in guest requests and a few last minute changes of ours flawlessly. Brian was also a huge help, always staying in touch and following up with us throughout the planning process. Thank you, Steve and Brian, for an awesome evening!

Eventures was great!!! Ryan was our dj he did a great job communicated with us very well throughout the reception he kept things moving along smoothly! Stop your search now and phone Eventures. It’s that easy. Last winter, I had a spreadsheet of dozens of DJs sitting in front of me and needed to whittle it to one. After a conversation with Brian Baur, whose name was nestled somewhere halfway down the list, I was done looking. Brian was very professional and personable, and he sent along a couple samples for us to listen to. We booked him. We met in person once before the wedding, and Brian listened to our ideas, to our musical tastes and started crafting a plan that he’d later drop in our inbox — a musical master plan that laid everything out from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception. In reality, the event played out even better than we had imagined. Brian, who had scoped out the venue in the weeks before the wedding, worked with our trumpeter and vocalists in the ceremony for their audio needs, set the tone in a cocktail hour and then proceeded to keep people — young and old — on the dance floor all night. His song selection was pitch perfect, with a little something for everyone and none of the songs we asked him to avoid. Eventures also added Ryan to serve as MC for our reception, and he helped introduce the party and pace the event from start to finish. All in all, a marvelous production we, and our guests, are still reliving.

All along the way of wedding planning Brian was always quick to get back to me as soon as I had any questions. It's a reassuring feeling to have someone who cares so much about your day as you do to making it as perfect as possible. They exceeded my expectations the day of my wedding. They really knew my style based upon my must plays and everyone in attendance had a blast and a few danced their butts off lost some and lost some weight from the good time. Again Brian and Steve were excellent to work with!

Eventures was very professional and easy to deal with! They were always on top of answering emails with last minute requests. They picked songs specifically in genres I mentioned and kept the dancing going! They were even able to integrate easily with our live band! Would highly recommend!

Brian of Eventures was an awesome DJ for our wedding this July 2017! He met with us twice before the wedding to discuss which songs we wanted and our sound system needs. Brian was very responsive, professional, good humored, and got all of our special songs right even after we changed them a couple of times because we couldn't decide. We're in the non-traditional, informal wedding crowd--meaning, no coordinator or heavy choreography--and Brian was able to lay out precisely what he needed from us, and what we could just let fly on the day of. As for the music, it was a blast having a party where you think to yourself "I love this song!" and then realize it's because your awesome DJ was listening when you told him what you like! He put together such a great set of music, in fact, almost a month later, friends and family continue to comment on how much they loved him and how great he was. Prices were very reasonable too. I highly recommend Eventures as a DJ!

Let me start off by saying that you should look no further when it comes to all your entertainment needs for your wedding! My husband and I originally met Brian 18 months prior to our wedding. From that time until our wedding, Brian was SO easy to talk to, he responds quickly to emails, and will do anything to make his clients happy. We used Eventures for DJ, our uplighting and our videography. Everything was so perfect. Steve and Ryan were our DJ and MC and they had the entire dance floor filled the entire night! I was extremely concerned with keeping 300 guests on the dance floor all night, and made Brian and Steve aware of this before the wedding....but they nailed it. Not many people even wanted to take a break!!! We had blush pink uplighting that was absolutely perfect and the exact color I was envisioning. We also had 2 videographers for the day. You hardly notice they are there which is great! They were never in the way and super friendly! One of them even rode on our party bus and I know he was even having an awesome time with us haha! I know they got amazing footage of our day from the preparation, the ceremony, well into the reception and I can't wait to see our videos! Eventures was recommended to me, and I am here to recommend them to anyone and everyone planning a wedding. Such a simple, stress free, easy process...and our day went off without a hitch! We are so happy!

Brian was an amazing DJ! He made our day sooo much fun! We had a huge mix of music (English, Spanish, and Arabic music to be exact) he helped everyone enjoy themselves and the dance floor was packed all night. I had a few requests on the day of and he was so flexible which was great! Good prices and great DJ!

My husband and I loved working with Eventures for our wedding! We wanted a company that did both photos and dj and eventures was the perfect fit! We met with a few other DJs but Ryan who was our DJ really cared about what we wanted for our wedding and how we wanted the party to be as opposed to the others we met with. My cousin is a DJ but I wanted her to be able to come to my wedding as a guest and she was really impressed with Ryan and Eventures as well! They helped with the flow from cocktail hour to speeches and dinner expertly and kept the party going all night! All the guests were up and dancing and happy with the entertainment which is exactly what we wanted! We can't recommend Ryan and Eventures enough! Our wedding was everything we wanted thanks to them!

We were so pleased with our choice to go with Eventures as our DJ! Steve kept our gusts on the dance floor the entire night. The dance floor was packed until the very last song. Steve was very professional and helpful during the planning process, and helped guide us through our reception schedule. Steve also helped me pull off a surprise Star Wars entrance for me and my husband (my husband was so surprised and excited! Steve also promised to make sure we got enjoyed our party, and to make sure he warned us when the last song was coming on (he even had to find me in a different room at the reception) to make sure I knew the evening was almost done and that my husband and I could enjoy the last dance together with our guests. We can. Or recommend Eventures highly enough as your DJ!

We loved Eventures for our DJ, photography and videography needs. This is the place to go to simplify --- "one stop" wedding shopping. The team worked cohesively and were paramount professionals. They had a great amount of energy and added to the feel of the day. We LOVED this group and would highly recommend them!!!!

This DJ was AMAZING. He was communicative throughout the entire process before and during the wedding. The music feel was exactly what we talked about. The reception went faster than expected due to weather, but he was right there to make it all flow. I got many compliments on the music from my guests. I highly recommend this company!

Ryan did the music for our wedding ceremony and reception. He did an amazing job and we are so thankful that we went with him. We met with him about a month before our wedding date to finalize all of the minor details. He was super organized and happy to accommodate all of our requests. He made our reception so fun with the playlist. There were a lot of people that complimented our song selection. He was even willing to throw in song requests from guests. He also did something super fun that I had never seen a DJ do before: when he played certain songs that had specific dances to them, he would get out onto the dance floor and help show everyone how to dance them. It was awesome! Out of all of my vendors, EventuresWeddings was my favorite to work with and was great at communicating with us. You won't be disappointed if you go with them for both photography and DJ services because the team works great together.

This could not have been a more perfect wedding. The music hat was played was fantastic and Brian did not miss a single note. He tailored our wedding exactly how we requested, from playing some of our favorite rare Grateful Dead songs, to our entrance to the Star Wars Theme song. Our guests were very entertained, even though it was 93 degrees outside most of our guests danced the entire time. Brian used some of his own creativity to read to crowd. We had a wedding coordinator but Brian worked well with her to keep things moving on task. There were a few surprises as some of the guests had last minute changes and requests but Brian and his assistant Chris worked very well to fit these last minute changes in. The only drawback was my step fathers last name was pronounced wrong. It was close enough but we spent time to go over the names expecting this not to be an issue. All in all I am glad that Brian was able to help make our day run perfect. A lot of careful planning and time went into the wedding and we were not disappointed. Was everything completely perfect no, but some minor hitches are expected, such as the transition to the bridesmaids coming down the isle to when my Bride Lauren came down. There was an awkward hitch with the music where it abruptly stopped and there was a long pause before her song came on. This I assumed was a mistake. I really didn't care as I was very excited for Lauren to come down the isle, and was nervous. She said that the wedding coordinator told him to put a gap in the songs so they knew when to send her and her father out. I would highly recommend Brian from Eventures to anyone. Thanks again for making our day perfect.

I enjoyed my experience with Eventures. Brian was easy to work with and made the photography process pain free for me. He scouted out the church and possible outdoor areas for pictures ahead of time. We also had our DJ through Eventures and he was amazing. I received many complements from guests! Overall, I would choose Eventures for my wedding photography and DJ needs.

We had a great experience with Eventures! They did a great job with my sister's wedding as well as our not-so-standard reception BBQ party. We got married abroad & wanted to have a casual reception for our families when we got home. Eventures was able to accommodate our desire to NOT do a lot of traditional reception components (bouquet toss, entrance, introductions) while still providing us a fun night of entertainment! They were also accessible via email which was important to me as my job does not allow for frequent phone calls.

Brian and Ryan were fantastic!! I would recommend their DJ & MC services to anyone. They played a wonderful mix of movie scores I had requested before the ceremony and were spot on with the mic and processional/recessional music during the ceremony. Our reception was amazing and we have them to thank. Everyone loved the music and we dance for five hours straight. They even jumped out on the floor and taught us the wobble- so much fun. Great value and great service!

Steve was the best! I could not have been pleased with the entire process. From start to finish he organized the night and when we ran a little late he made sure to get things back on track. The dance floor was packed the entire night. I could not imagine a better DJ for our big day!

eVentures is a good DJ/MC service for the price. We had been to other weddings where they DJ’d and were really happy with their service. After meeting with several other details and being horrified at their pricing, we decided to go with eVentures because they gave us a great deal and seemed eager to work with us. We worked with Brian to set the details for our wedding, and overall our ceremony and reception were wonderful. There were, however, a couple aspects that could have gone better. During the ceremony, the officiant’s microphone kept cutting out, and many of our guests missed a large portion of our ceremony and vows. Before the wedding, we had told Brian that we wanted to give 3 toasts, one from each best man, and one from myself. After the second best man gave his speech, the MC swooped up, grabbed the mic, and walked away before I got a chance to give my toast. Lastly, we spent time beforehand picking out a list of music to be played during the reception that included music that we liked, music that meant something to us, and music that our guests would have enjoyed. We told Brian that we didn’t expect him to play all of the music on that list, but to mix it in with the more usual dance music played at weddings. However, I can only recall two of those songs being played during the reception. I would recommend eVentures as they are a good value, but make sure you get all of your details set in writing beforehand and maybe go over the event on the day of to make sure you are all on the same page.

We are so happy we hired Eventures for our entertainment. The dj was great! He played the best music and we danced the entire night. He knew exactly what to play at the right times! Very professional and very fun!

Eventures Entertainment was everything we could have asked for from our DJ. From start to finish Brian was professional, responsive and a joy to work with. Eventures was one of the best vendors we worked with during our wedding! We started planning our wedding reception entertainment planning months in advance and Brian was with us every step of the way. Our contract and payment structure was clear and concise. Brian kept a continuous dialogue with us throughout the months leading up to the wedding. Most importantly to me, Brian would always return a phone call within 24 hours and Brian was our dedicated contact at Eventures (no getting bounced around within the company). The night of the reception was amazing. The reception venue looked stunning with the Eventures uplighting. We asked Brian as the MC, to have moderate interaction with our guests and he found to perfect balance of when to speak to guests and when to let the music do the talking. Throughout the night our dance floor was packed with smiling guests loving the music selection. I would highly recommend Eventures Entertainment to any wedding couple. Knowing how stressful wedding planning can be, the ease of working with Brian and Eventures is worth 5 stars alone. You will not be disappointed with their quality of work and you guests have a truly memorable time on the dance floor at your wedding.

Booking Eventuresweddings (Ryan) was the best decision we made. I became aware of them because my friend is engaged to Brian (Congrats Stacie and Brian), who is also a DJ at Eventuresweddings. They were very professional and I felt like they really cared about our vision for our wedding. They were attentive and punctual- they return calls/ emails and consult..... I had difficulties with other vendors.

We are so glad we chose Eventures to provide the entertainment for our wedding! They met with us a few times prior to the wedding and made sure that we were all on the same track regarding playlists, scheduling, etc. From the introductions to the last dance, everything was spot on! And the uplighting made such a huge (positive) difference in a venue that we already loved! They were able to keep tempo the entire evening and keep people on the dance floor, which, based on previous weddings that I have attended, can be a challenge. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone I knew who was looking for a wedding DJ.

Finding a DJ was one of the most difficult parts of planning our wedding. From the get-go, we did not want to hire a "wedding DJ." My husband and I have very unique music tastes - most of our music is not played on the radio. We had very specific genres and types of songs we wanted to have played at various points in the evening (a mix of 20's jazz and even some classical Hindi music during cocktail hour, early doo-wop during dinner, and highly danceable, but unexpected songs played during dancing). We also had a bluegrass band playing and our DJ needed to work well with the band and play music that would segway between band and DJ sets. We felt that most "wedding DJ's" would not know where to begin with these specific needs, so instead looked for DJ's that mixed at clubs in Lawrenceville and on independent radio, etc. After having 3 of these types of DJ's fall through (they forgot they were booked on our date, our music cramped their style, etc.) we were left less than 2 months before our wedding with no DJ. My friend referred me to her friend Steve of Eventures, and we decided to take a chance. From the first time we spoke with Steve, he was actually excited about the music we were looking for. We sat together for several hours talking about our music, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. He respected the fact that we didn't want a lot of announcements throughout the evening. After our meeting, he felt like an old friend, and we were very reassured that we might have found a "wedding DJ" that really was really what we wanted. Once we gave him our list of music, we didn't have anything to worry about. Even the most obscure songs, he was able to find and play. As for getting people dancing, he was amazing! One song after the other got people really excited and moving! We even had a strange request to have him play random sound clips from a movie we like, and he got them, downloaded them and played them randomly throughout dinner. I think our guests were confused, but my husband and I could barely contain our laughter. It was so awesome that he did that! We appreciated that a few times throughout the evening, he would ask us our opinions on things (how is the volume, did we want to this one dance now or later, etc). If you are looking for someone who is willing to step WAY out of the box, go above and beyond for you to make your wedding how you want it, play amazing music, as well as the kind of person you actually like to be around - HIRE STEVE at Eventures. We cannot thank him enough. I only wish we found him sooner so we didn't have to experience all the run-around with all the DJ's we talked to before him. And I wish we could do our wedding all over again because he made it so much fun!!!

On July 4,2014 at the Pittsburgh Zoo an Aquarium, Eventures put on a fantastic musical review. The songs met everyone's needs, the atmosphere was unbelievable and the DJ's top notch. Everything went smoothly and this mother of the bride could not have been happier. Should I ever need them or should anyone every ask me to recommend some one...You will be the first name off of my lips. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS WEDDING RECEPTION OVERWHELMING SUCCESS!!!!

Again, Eventures did our photography, engagement photos, and DJed our wedding. They were so "go with the flow" and did exactly what we wanted. We changes some things last minute and they were so accommodating! They helped make our wedding perfect! Highly recommended!!

Steve Simak and his crew sat down with us prior to the wedding to discuss our needs, met with us multiple times to confirm our music selections and ensured our wedding day went off without a hitch. Steve and his team worked with a band that we had hired from out of town and ensured everyone was on the same page and the reception music never stopped. My husband and I can't say enough about how happy we are with the professional service we were provided. And all of our guests had a fantastic time. Eventures DJ, Steve Simak, had the party going all night! The dance floor was the place to be with Steve in control of the music. We provided him with a list of must play music and he caught our vibe, filled in with some music of his choice, and mixed & faded the music to perfection! Our friends & family all want his play list for their weddings. He was easy to work with, yet had a great attention to our details. Even our wedding coordinator from Pittsburgh's Grand Hall at The Priory couldn't have been happier with his attention to detail and involvement in making our day perfect. My husband even called Steve the morning of the wedding to add a much wanted song and he came through for us. Eventures Weddings has competitive prices and offered many other services. Out of the four DJs we met with, we didn't even have to think for two minutes about our choice to have Steve Simak of Eventures lay down the soundtrack for our wedding day.
