e we were even planning it. The biggest question was who. There are so many bands we like but we wanted one that was going to be special for our wedding. After a ton of research I messaged a few bands, also to appease my husband to show I “did my research”. Rich was the first response back and immediately I knew he worked at my speed. I also secretly was obsessed with his instagram posts and his ability as a true vocalist with a HUGE RANGE. He helped us figure out the size band we wanted based on our musical interests and was so open about pricing. We went with an 8 piece, which was beyond incredible and gave our entire venue an experience! The Ever After Band assists with music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Rich was always extremely responsive when I had questions and just as promised we spoke at our 3 month mark prior to our wedding, putting us at ease in the planning process . We were honest with Rich about our music style (Classic Rock/Pop/decade based songs) we also gave a few must plays. Rich and the band respected our no requests and he talked to us prior to the wedding about what he would say to guests with requests. We appreciated them shortening our first dance and parent dances because we don’t love everyone staring at us! Two unique things to our wedding were 1- I needed to have tambourines during Dancing Queen and 2- Our friend had to lead the wedding singing Hey Baby. Rich and the band happily made sure it happened. They also encouraged our side dives under each others legs and rocked the night away with some of our crazy party dance moves. We also had a wide variety of people at our wedding- there were times I looked out and saw those who weren't on the dance floor, dancing in their seats and if they were out at the bar they were singing along. During desert people were singing along and dancing outside of the ballroom. When coming down from the bridal suite to go into cocktail hour, the first group of people I spoke to was Rich, Cat and the rest of the Band…..they were just awesome people and I wish I had more time with them! 5 hours just wasn’t enough. After our wedding everyone talked about how great our band was and we couldn’t agree more. From the beginning I knew we would vibe with Rich and the band and quite honestly he was one of the easiest vendors we used. There was trust and understanding that was beyond appreciated. So much of me wants to redo our wedding just to be able to dance along more with The Ever After Band! They do not disappoint and your guests will be talking about them weeks and probably months after the wedding! Just asking for a friend- how many 1st birthday parties The Ever After Band plays each year because they may be needed for future first birthday parties! <3 <3 We are true Fans of The Ever After Band for Life! Instead, they take the time to get to know you and curate the music to what gets you (and your guests) dancing all night long. We had everything from ABBA to Pitbull, and even some Nickelback(at our request). They truly knocked it out of the park. From the live music at our ceremony, to the 3 piece set at our cocktail hour to the full band at our reception. Every single moment was INCREDIBLE and exactly what we wanted. The band got onto the dance floor with all of our guests and kept the energy going all night long. Not only were guests commenting all night about how amazing they were but the venues maitreD’ asked for their information as well. We used their DJ for our after party as well and asked for 1 more song 3 times because he was THAT good. They were also SO incredible while planning the wedding. Rich accommodated every request we had and jumped on a call whenever we needed with ease. We need another reason to have a celebration just so we can use them again!!! Highly recommend if you’re getting married or looking for a phenomenal band use them!!!

ith Rich a month before our wedding so he could learn a bit about our taste in music. From just that short session, he hit the nail on the head and played every song we wanted with a ton of additional songs mixed in to keep people dancing and match the vibe. At cocktail hour, Thor wielded his saxophone in place of his iconic hammer and got the crowd extremely excited for what was to follow on the dance floor. Down to every detail, the Ever After Band delivered. The band matched Tina Turner’s “Simply the Best” note for note for a first dance that we will never forget. It’s like she was in the room with us (no offense to Tina). Our speeches were heard clearly by everyone in the audience thanks to Rich and crew’s attentiveness to setting up the amp and introducing everyone so eloquently. We are certain we made the right decision trusting EAB on our biggest day. Pieces of advice for brides/grooms to be: Let Rich run with at least one Pitbull song - that got the crowd going! The band was awesome, so personable, and interactive. They played all the songs we asked for and had a wide variety of music that had everyone from our friends to older relatives on the dance floor all night. They even played a polka for my husbands Hungarian side which they loved and sang songs in Italian for my side - the perfect mix to blend our two cultures together. Our wedding was over a month ago and guests continue to go out of their way to reach out to us to compliment the band and their talent. Multiple guests have said “it’s the best band we have ever heard”, and we the bride and groom could not agree more! They read the room and selected the best songs for our friends and family and the dance floor was PACKED the entire night. He listened to our requests too and it didn’t go unnoticed. They also sang our “first dance” songs perfectly and made our dance choreography seamless. The band was extremely interactive with the guests and made appearances on the dance floor, which elevated the energy to crazy heights. The vocals were perfect and the instrumentals rocked the roof off. The night flew by because we were lost in dancing the night away thanks to the Ever After Band. Rich still maintains a professional and personal relationship with us, making us feel incredibly special and not just another client. I could go on and on with 10,000 compliments. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The Ever After Band deserves all of the love and positive feedback they receive because it is all true. They thought of everything to make this process easy. Rich even found us on the wedding day before the reception to make sure we were at ease and finally meet face to face. His thoughtfulness goes a long way. Flash forward to the night of, EAB was a part of what my wife and I consider to be an incredible and magical night. Rich folded in the Avett Brother, Rainbow Connection, My Chemical Romance into a set list that drove the tempo of the whole night. The musicians in the band entered the dance floor and interacted with my guests. I cannot thank them enough for making the wedding one to not forget. My wife and I have an eclectic taste of music and were unsure if our taste would be conveyed to our guests but it came across loud and clear. Rich assured us our choices were not too weird and was enthusiastic in every instance we interacted with him. It was the most excellent night and experience with the band.

Even our friends and family who had previously established themselves as "non dancers," were captured by our photographer tearing up the dance floor. Ever After Band truly gets everyone going with their sound, large repertoire, and their energy - we did not leave the dance floor! We had a 200-person wedding combining a wide variety of cultures and ages, and Rich got EVERYONE there to dance and sing. He even sang one of our first dance songs in perfect Spanish. The EAB delivers the talent and energy of a live band, with the range of music you'd think only a DJ has. Just as special as his talent, Rich could not be a nicer guy or easier to work with. He is so genuinely kind and warm, we knew after the very first call we had with him that we were going to book him because of his approach to his work. He took the time to get to know our love story and ask about what was important to us on our wedding day. At every touchpoint, including even after the wedding was over, he has shown us nothing but kindness and a genuine passion for what he does. Also appreciated that he had great recommendations for other venders I was struggling to find. We were a bit nervous at first because we had never heard the band play before but wow. They blew us away. They can play literally any song and it will all sound amazing. You also get exactly what you paid for. No rotating musicians who are different then what you see online like other wedding bands. My family loves live music so a band was a must, but some of them can also be a bit critical. Not a single negative comment. Every guest was raving about the band from cocktail hour to the reception. I had only been to weddings with DJs (who were still good) but I never saw so many people partying on the dance floor. Guests were following up for weeks saying it was the best wedding they had been to. Some are even trying to pool money together to get the EAB back for an anniversary party, that's how much fun they had. Every wedding needs the Ever After Band.
