r getting ready / overnight guests for our wedding party made it such a perfect place to get married. We knew immediately once we met with Katie and toured it for the first time that it was THE spot to host this special occasion.
From start to finish, Katie was kind to work with, responsive to our questions, and highly flexible to helping us make everything happen. If you're looking for that classic Pacific Northwest forested vibe with a sophisticated touch that's not a far shot from the city, look no further for a lovely spacious venue to celebrate with all your favorite people!

Katie, the owner, was an absolute joy to work with. She is incredibly kind, responsive, and made the entire planning process feel so easy. Her communication was exceptional from beginning to end, which gave us so much peace of mind while planning an out-of-state wedding.
One thing I have to say is that the photos online simply do not do this venue justice. It is even more breathtaking in person. Every corner of the property is stunning, and our wedding photos truly look like they belong in a magazine. The natural beauty of the venue created the most perfect backdrop for our day.
If you’re looking for a venue that is beautiful, well-maintained, and run by someone who genuinely cares about making your day special, I cannot recommend this place enough. We are so grateful we chose this venue, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

A huge shoutout to Katie, who was an absolute lifesaver throughout the entire planning process. Her communication was consistently thorough and timely — any question we had was answered quickly, and she went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported and confident every step of the way. Katie’s organization and calm demeanor made everything feel seamless, and we genuinely can’t thank her enough.
The venue itself is stunning, with endless photo opportunities and a layout that flows beautifully for both ceremony and reception. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how magical and inviting the space felt.

. Booking the venue gives you and your guests access to all of these areas, and also includes chairs, tables, décor, drinking glasses, lawn games, and more. Our guests were (and still are!) raving about how gorgeous it was.
The owner, Katie, is communicative and quick to reply to inquiries, and even let us come visit a few times throughout our planning process to envision our big day onsite. We are so grateful for her help and collaboration, and we will be recommending Evergreen Gardens to everyone looking for a venue going forward!

't need to go overboard with florals/decor for everything to be magical and just what we wanted. The dressing areas for the wedding party are spacious and super cute. We loved that there were showers! The kitchen is a great space for the catering staff to use and was so helpful. We were so grateful that there was a giant room full of items we could use during the wedding and reception. There were signs, table number holders, a variety of vases, table runners, candle holders and more. This was a major bonus for us! Jen and Katie are amazing and you can tell that they love what they do. They answered our questions promptly, never made me feel like I was asking too many questions and really made me feel seen as a bride. We highly recommend Evergreen Gardens!

Jen to explore the space, we both knew it was the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The natural environment, the beautiful landscaping, the privacy and intimacy...It was everything I had imagined my wedding day to be. In addition to the beauty, it was a great value in both cost and ease of use. Most of the items that you would need to accommodate guests, as well as the option to use numerous and varied tablescape items and interesting display tables are included in the rental, making for an easy planning and setup process.
Jen was also able to point us in the right direction with suggestions for vendors to use - everything from bartenders to photographers to caterers. We used most of the vendors she suggested and, well, our day was PERFECT! We wouldn't change a thing and will forever remember the feeling of making a commitment in that beautiful place.

The layout of the grounds is perfect for guests to wander around the trees and gardens during cocktail hour, and enjoy the sunset during the reception. We received endless compliments from our guests about how gorgeous the venue was and how we hit the jackpot - we couldn't agree more! And I would be remiss if I didn't mention Jenn - she was absolutely wonderful to work with! Very communicative and helpful, ready to answer any questions and provide any recommendations that she could. Our bartender, Boel, from the "approved" list was fantastic as well! We highly recommend Evergreen Gardens if you're looking for an outdoor venue!

st secret garden where we envisioned our family and friends celebrating with us. Katie and Jen are both outgoing and kind. When we asked if the venue was open to LGBTQIA+ weddings, they were embarrassed/sad that this even had to be a question. Not only is this a beautiful place, it was also a safe place for our Gay wedding. Also, Anna, our bartender from the approved list, was BEYOND helpful. She checked in often and was constantly helping with everything between pouring drinks. The reasonable rates, beauty, and personality of this venue and all involved makes this an amazing place to have your perfect day.

beauty of the entire venue. The new owner Jenn is incredibly responsive, professional, helpful, patient, and kind in all of her communication and on the day-of. Thank you so much Evergreen Gardens for making our day so special.

ses and candle holders to choose from as well as other decorations. There is glassware for rent at a good price to help make a reception a breeze. The owners are facilitating and responsive, making wedding planning go smoothly. Local vendors know the venue and respect the owners, taking the responsibility from your shoulders from having to guide them on set-up. My guests kept commenting on what a perfectly beautiful place Evergreen Gardens is. Wonderful venue!!!

ss. Patti and Ray go completely above and beyond. They started the s'more fire for us and kept it going, they wheeled out the little space heaters when it got chilly, and they handed out blankets for our guests. All their recommendations for other vendors were the best recommendations we got and we had an absolute blast! I highly recommend it here to everyone, there is tons of space and such nice people to be around who will help out in so many ways. There is even a room of assorted wedding props they allow you to use for free!
Beautiful location and the owners were wonderful to work with!
I have been to many wedding ceremony and receptions at Evergreen Gardens and the owners are the most respectful and caring people. They care about their prospective clients, people...
whom they book, their guests and the vendors. The grounds are spectacular and always maintained to perfection. Highly recommend Evergreen Gardens. I have read some of these negative posts and my guess is that these people have never been to Evergreen Gardens and/or met the owners. Schedule an appointment and go check out the venue and meet the owners, you be happy and satisfied that you did.
Let me begin by saying -- very happy with the experience. Very happy. Wondering venue with wonderful people. Had the time of our lives.
Honestly couldn't recommend it more.
But...
I feel like I have to address the ongoing comments I'm now seeing on this page; all the reviews are either 5 star or 1 star -- and the only thing separating them is the fact that, when pressed, one of the owners disagreed on same-sex marriage? They were asked their opinion, right? How does an owner's opinion have enough weight to merit a scathing review? Can we not be reasonable? The opinion affected their Responsiveness? Really?
What if they were atheists and you wanted to have prayer at the wedding? What if they were vegetarians and you were excited about your steak dinner? Seems like overkill and frankly, kinda malicious considering the stunning care these people have taken of their landscape and business.
Do not support this business. Overtly discrinayes! Bigotry never wins. What a poor example they set in the community. They should be ashamed! Kids: Don't grow up to be Haters like...
Evergreen Gardens in Ferndale. #BoycottBigotsCelebrateLove
Not LGBT friendly. Will host a wedding for a gay couple because the law says they have to, but they will express their discomfort with it. Do not give them your money.
