Evermore Bridal Off the Rack

well.  I personally emailed you a few weeks ago as a professional courtesy notifying you if this false review remained here I would be issuing a response. I am surprised I didn't receive an email back given our last in-person interaction was very positive - so much so you expressed interest in using the store's preferred seamstress . . .  You and I both know this review is untrue. It also unfairly smears Eva's Bridal -  an establishment that has nothing to do with the purchase you made at Evermore Bridal Off the Rack.   For anyone reading this, here are the facts: The reviewer above purchased a wedding dress from Evermore Bridal Off the Rack back in August 2025. As is the case with all items sold across all customers, the sale of her wedding dress was final sale. She knew this at point of purchase and signed all documentation indicating she understood and agreed to all the terms and conditions.  The reviewer later contacted the store stating her circumstances changed and she no longer needed/wanted the dress. With this, she requested a refund. I communicated directly with the reviewer, reminding her that all sales are final. I stated that as a business it is important to apply policies consistently, so every person is treated equally under the same set of expectations.  Unhappy with my response, the reviewer went on to issue a chargeback on her wedding dress purchase with her credit card company. I heard nothing from the reviewer for weeks as the chargeback process played out: No further phone calls/voicemails, no text messages, no emails. No inquiries from her or her fiancé since August.  It wasn't until Nov. 5, 2025, after the reviewer was notified by her credit card company that she lost the chargeback case, that she called the store (on a day it was closed) and left a voicemail asking to speak with me. When she didn't receive an immediate response, she went on to post this negative review.  I made myself available to speak with her again the very next day on the phone, even though I was out of state on a family vacation at the time.  The phone call was calm and respectful, but I again had to remind the reviewer that while I can appreciate her circumstances changed, she is not the exception to the rules all others must follow. I can't issue her a refund while telling everyone else all sales are final. That would not be fair and would open the door for policies to devolve into chaos. Soon after, the reviewer came into the store to pick up her dress. I personally oversaw this store visit. The reviewer and I were friendly, and she even asked for information about alterations services with our preferred seamstress.  Any assertion that I was inaccessible, passive aggressive or difficult to work with during this reviewer's situation is a downright lie. I could not have been more responsive, direct and patient - it's just that the reviewer didn't like what I had to say about store policies she agreed to at point of purchase. When all is said and done, I wish nothing but the best for the reviewer. I also wish we had connected under different circumstances as I can tell she can be very kind. But, with regard to this review, I have to correct the record and stand by the truth.
