Evermore Park

I loved this place but it is a horrible place to have a wedding. They canceled my wedding 2 months before my date. It is a unique and beautiful mix of fantasy and fun, basically Dungeons and Dragons live. I’ve gone every year since then discovered it’s existence. It’s the place where my fiancé and I started dating. Naturally it was where we wanted to say our vows at our D&D themed wedding. This didn’t end up happening. While at first Christina their director of events was super responsive and helpful, I was only ever able to contact her by email and as my date got closer she became harder and harder to get responses from. There were also many event venue basic amenities that were not available. Like they did not do take up and take down of the space, that would entirely be up to my party, even tables and chairs from the park (which was included in our rental time). Our catering was also not allowed to use their kitchen and they offered no onsite catering. I had already payed for my event in full and booked a weekend to go walk through the space and pick a spot for my ceremony. Then the day before we were set to fly out there, after 3 weeks of radio silence, Christina sent me an email saying they had to cancel my and all other event due to a partnership falling through and told me the park may be closing. She promised I would get my full money back (currently still waiting). She was very very apologetic and while a appreciated her concern it left me in a very very bad spot. Honestly, even if they weren’t closing (which is very sad) I would not recommend them as an event center for weddings. Thankfully we’ve successfully moved our event to Wadley Farms Castle. Huzzah!
