lf so I have seen a LOT of DJs, and most of them are awful. Ethan is a true gem. Everything Forever provided lighting design and installation, DJ service, ceremony audio and karaoke services for our wedding. I corresponded with Ethan several times before the wedding, sharing my vision but also getting a lot of advice from him. I could tell he had worked many weddings, as well as larger events, so his recommendations were invaluable. Communication was always speedy and professional. When our wedding weekend arrived, he was there on time and had set everything up with time to spare so we never felt rushed. My husband and I had a pretty DIY wedding, but we always knew that certain things like lighting and music were worth having help with. The day of the wedding, Ethan worked with our day-of coordinator to make sure the microphone and speaker were set up and working for the ceremony. The ceremony was flawless, no issues with anyone hearing us. We had friends that played music as people arrived, and they were amplified perfectly. Then there was the reception!!! Ethan had sent us a form to fill out prior to the wedding that helped him understand what kind of music we liked and what we would want played for each part of the reception. He provided a seamless way for us to share Spotify playlists so he knew exactly which songs - and which versions of songs - we wanted to hear. He cued everything perfectly and helped to keep us on track. Then when people started to sign up for karaoke, he started to weave in karaoke songs in between dance songs. So everyone was dancing for several songs, then someone would start singing, and everyone would keep dancing as they sang. It worked out even better than I imagined! Of course, if you wanted to integrate karaoke into your wedding in a different way than this, he would be open to it (like having a block of karaoke songs at the beginning or end of the night, etc). But he has done this so many times before, he knows how to make it all work! Our friends have continued to rave to us, months after the wedding, about how much fun the karaoke was, and how great all of the dancing songs were. We HIGHLY recommend Everything Forever. You won't be disappointed.

The music he ended up playing was great and kept the dancing going all night, and he's great at managing the event while having a great personality that definitely isn't the "party DJ" stereotype that we really were worried about when we started looking. Ethan was completely supportive of the fact that we didn’t want parent dances, bouquet tosses, etc. But he also helped us to strategize ways to move the party along and get people up and dancing without those things. Even though it was cold and rainy on the night of our wedding, Ethan still managed to get people out on the floor – without a lot of guidance from us, his song choices were spot on. Ethan is unobtrusive, he’s a pro, he fit right into the party, and I was super glad we hired him.

The reception events unfolded seamlessly, and the music was impeccably curated for each stage of the night: from pre-ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner, to dancing — and beyond! Not a detail was missed and not a song went un-danced. Our venue was a large industrial space in Maine that the EF team completely transformed with a shadow forest, a dance floor with a color/light-changing chandelier, and a karaoke booth. The space had not yet been renovated, and therefore came with some inherent challenges that EF navigated expertly. The limited and quirky electricity, less-than-ideal room acoustics, and the sheer size of the venue demanded a lot of hard work, quick thinking, and out-of-the-box solutions. Despite all this, the EF team remained professional and patient, cheerful and energetic, and consistently went above and beyond our expectations -- even stepping in to resolve some unanticipated issues when another vendor fell short. As the first to show up and the last to leave, the EF team put in several days of work leading up to and after the wedding — all while keeping our needs, interests, and budget in mind.

s we hadnt though about... entry music... mingling music... keying speakers and solemn moments! He helped us feel at ease during the planning process that all would go smoothly ....and it did! But thats not why im writing this... its because of the random special moments that he was thoughtful enough to create that truly MADE my wedding. He impromptu (maybe it was planned but it felt like the most natural and spontaneous and wonderful moment in reality) played 'what a beautiful world' and had us all form a giant huddle hug and sway as one connected ball of energy and love that blew my mind and every one of my guests has remarked on. We also worked together to create a signature Ethan item... the kareoke video booth! its the kind of cherished gift from a day with all your most favorite people that like your wedding album you will go back to time and time again! He set up a video space complete with tiny disco ball in a private shed at our site and then after what I can only imagine was hundreds of hours of editing he produced the most wondeful hysterical single take video of our a fantastic snapshot of everyone singing... its was so crazy good!!!!! youll definitely want to add this to your event! His lighting was gorgeous and my younger cousins still talk about (3 years later) how the best party they ever went to was my wedding... with the lights sync'd to his music and his awesome talent of feeling the crowd and playing really solidly GOOD music we had a fantastic dance party that went deep into the night... my Mom says that it was truly the most fun she has ever had in her entire life and she stayed up dancing till after 1am!!!! Seriously. if you have the chance you should book Everything Forever! Besides my own wedding ive attended two other weddings he worked for and my new rule of thumb is if Ethan is your wedding DJ I want to be invited :) .
