A few of my friends and family also got engaged this year and I have already recommended her to them. Even with our big wedding party (18 total bridesmaids and bridesmen), our giant guest count (220), and our after dinner guests (200) Emily was able to accommodate every request we had and our wedding flowed so flawlessy. When it came to booking vendors, Emily was prepared with a list of people she had previously worked with that fit both in our price range, as well as meeting our vision. She communicated with all of our vendor contacts, so that we didn't have to stress out more than necessary. She kept us on track so that we were never rushing and doing things last minute, and anytime we had to change things like add or remove people she made us feel like everything was okay and not a complete dumpster fire. She made sure that we had things we didn't even realize we needed to get or forgot that we needed, vow books, cake cutting set, perfume bottles, card box, etc. She made sure all our vendors had their insurance docs ready to be submitted. She coordinated with all the vendors so they knew what time to be there and where to set up. She put together such a detailed timeline of events so that we had time to enjoy our wedding. She made sure our rowdy and chaotic wedding party had their cues down at the rehearsal, and tweaked our wedding format so that nothing looked out of place. On the actual day of our wedding, Emily and her team were so good to us. From checking in on us at the hotel while we got ready, to driving to the venue to make sure vendors were there and setting up correctly, to coming back to the hotel for our first look, then going back to the venue with us to get the ceremony started, every single thing was taken care of, all my wife and I had to do was show up and pose for pictures. I seriously cannot sing her enough praises. She is the very definition of a wedding planner. I would recommend her a million times over until I am blue in the face. into one day and initially thought we just needed someone to help manage the schedule. But from our very first call, Emily proved to be much more. She was incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and asked all the right questions that we hadn’t even considered. On the day of our 12-hour wedding, Emily and her team made sure we were consistently eating and staying hydrated. She even shared stories of her own wedding day to help us calm our nerves because we were so nervous and running on 2 hours of sleep. Because we did not have a rehearsal and it was almost everyone’s first time being in the bridal party, Emily stepped up and guided everyone through the ceremony seamlessly and truly made it seem so effortless even though everyone was internally freaking out. We’re pretty last minute and kept texting her throughout the day whenever we thought of something, but she was always already 10 steps ahead of us and rolled with everything so smoothly. She transported all our decor and outfits between venues, set everything up perfectly, and somehow managed to keep us ahead of schedule! She even handled family members during our cultural ceremonies with so much professionalism and grace! The next morning, Emily sent us some behind-the-scenes footage and was even able to tell me where my perfume was when I couldn’t find it. ith a set of services we could afford. From the beginning, she helped us work through questions we had spent a lot of time overthinking on. Her communication was fantastic--it felt like she was always available and would respond almost immediately any time we needed anything. She also has a fantastic eye for aesthetics. We didn't have to give her too many specifics about how we wanted certain things set up, like our welcome table or activities at the reception, but with some input from us she set everything up perfectly and it looked amazing. She even ended up helping us with our florals at the last minute, and the vision she put together was absolutely perfect. If you're wondering whether you need a day-of coordinator (at a minimum), you definitely do, and we would definitely recommend Emily!

We appreciate that she was there for our venue meetings, along with phone call meetings with our vendors. There were a couple mishaps during the day of due to weather and misplaced items which was out of our control, but she took care of all those! nner lol. He was a huuuuge fan of Emily. She was always reachable at any time of day & ready to take on anything I asked of her & more! But the day of, was another level! Emily was 20 steps ahead of me at every point of the day. She checked on me frequently to make sure I was ok & always took me into consideration. Her husband & assistant Claire were also so amazing! Not only were all 3 of them so professional but they were also so kind & personable. They even spent the extra hour of our party extension with us to be able to drop us off at the hotel afterwards & they absolutely did not have to. Like I said, I cannot say enough good things! Don’t hesitate to have Emily apart of your day, you will not regret it!

The final events is when she truly shined. Closer to the event she handled every minute detail before I even I had a chance to worry about it. She also handled every unexpected, unforeseen problems like the chance of sudden rain with thoughtful solutions and pulled last minute heater rentals before I even had to chance to google “heater rentals” in my area. She even handled my wedding with such grace and efficiency. And she did all of this single handedly when her assistant for our day had to pull out due to sickness and essentially did the work of two people. She even got praise from our whole bridal party in how she directed them for the event. They commended her on her poise, leadership, and clear directions. She was even quick on handling wardrobe malfunctions. My mother in law heels snapped and had super glue on hand. And when then super glue failed, she had slippers ready for her in the other! Every part of the experience working you can feel she makes her couples a priority and is thoughtful to the couples experience. I was disappointed I didn’t have a phone on me to record the day. But the next day she sent an email of her bts photos to me! If you’re non-negotiable is having a well thought out and stress-free(or as stress free a wedding can be) scheduled plan for your wedding, Emily’s your girl!

On the wedding day, she essentially became a personal assistant. Whatever we needed, she was prepared and got it done. Personally picked up our wedding accessories to the venue, transported things from ceremony to reception to our room. Thirsty and needed water? She got it. Heck, when my contacts were bothering me right before the ceremony, she even had eye drops in her emergency kit! Nothing felt rushed, we weren't behind schedule, there was nothing chaotic about the day, and even 2 of my bridesmaids who have been in many weddings said our wedding was the most relaxed/least stressful wedding that they had been a part of. For anyone who is hesitant to hire a coordinator and thinks a family member can do it, the best advice I can give now that I've gone through the process is don't leave it to family. Spent the money, hire a professional coordinator, and make the choice to hire Emily!
