Matt was the kindest, the most professional, and overall perfect photographer for my husband and I! We appreciate all of his work and we are looking forward to working again with him in the future!

Matt was an amazing choice for my wedding photographer. He captured every detail and emotion that I wanted captured. It is almost like he was in several places at once to be able to capture everything he did as a single photographer, yet he never once got in the way. He was very easy going and fun to work with. He gave me all of the photos he took (over 2,000) in a very reasonable time frame and easy to access platform. I would highly recommend EVO Photography. If you are going through the process of choosing a photographer, you know all of the fears a bride has to consider when choosing a wedding photographer. If you choose to hire Matt, you can rest assured that he will put those fears to rest and exceed your expectations.

Matt is awesome. He's a friendly, kind, easy-going, and AWESOME photographer. He was super helpful and made my nervous self super calm during the wedding. He was willing to spend a 13-hour day with us and made every picture count. You need to have him for your special day as he will really take care of you and your partner. He made it feel like he wasn't even there, but found all the right moments to catch! Thank you so much Matt for making our wedding day PERFECT.

Matt was very wonderful to work with. He really made our experience great. he made us feel so comfortable & because of that we got amazing photographs. We were able to have fun, & be natural. He gave wonderful direction when we needed help with ideas & he really took into account my Pinterest board of inspiration photos which was a huge deal! He really did everything to make sure we got what we wanted out of our session & I couldn’t be happier that we chose him. I received 25 previews that very night & in less than a week photos we’re getting uploaded to the online album (was super user friendly & easy to navigate). 10/10 recommend!

I hired EVO Photography to capture my surprise engagement on Sullivan's Island near Charleston and could not have been happier with the photos, Matt's professionalism, and the entire experience. With us not being used to taking professional photos, we really appreciated his ability to create a relaxed and natural environment to capture authentic and genuine-feeling photos of the two of us. He was extremely responsive leading up to the proposal itself and gave great feedback on my location ideas with his familiarity of the local area. One of my biggest concerns leading up to the proposal was maintaining the secrecy and did a great job with that as well.

Trying to find the right photographer to capture our special day was a little stressful, you want everything to be perfect. After looking through EVO’s (Matt) previous jobs, I can honestly say we made the right decision hiring him. He was amazing to work with not only for our wedding day but for our engagement session as well. Matt was prompt and was adamant about capturing all the right moments and then some.

Working with this company for my wedding was a breeze from start to finish. Matt was amazing to work with before the wedding to make sure everything was lined up and he knew all the different photos I wanted. The day of the wedding Matt and the second photographer really made the day more enjoyable. My husband absolutely hates pictures and somehow these guys were able to work with him where he was actually enjoying the picture taking. We had a great time working with them and the photos they took were absolutely amazing! I couldn’t recommend this company enough for any photography needs you have!

Matt was very prompt and personable- we hired him and an additional photographer for what I considered to be a bargain! Excellent communication throughout the entire process - which included various cancellations due to Covid -and finally the day came to fruition! Had over 2200 pics - they captured all the formal, the fun and the crazy for my daughter’s wedding. ( plus a few drone shots!) The best part was that I honestly never realized they were there - very unobtrusive photographers! Such nice guys too! I wish Matt and his team nothing but the best - very talented and certainly should be your choice for a fantastic assortment of photos! You won’t regret it!

Cannot recommend EVO enough!!! Matt was a joy to work with, and had a perfect balance of offering posing suggestions while letting us do what was comfortable and authentic - making the experience so much fun! And the results were stunning! We ended up with so many amazing pictures, posed and candid, of us and our family, in a beautiful, natural editing style.

I cannot say enough good things about Matt! We met Matt at our engagement photo shoot and he instantly made us feel comfortable, staring into your fiance's eyes for longer than 2 seconds is a bit strange, but Matt walked us through every step of the way. He let us bring our own ideas to the table, listened to what we had in mind, and made it such a memorable experience. Between the engagement photos and the wedding Matt was quick to respond to texts, available for my random questioned phone calls, and even created a Pinterest board for the two of us to share ideas for the wedding. Fast forward a year to the wedding and when I tell you I was one stressed out Bride... I'm not kidding (planning a wedding, plus a pandemic, and a rainy rainy day to top it off had it's share of stressful moments.) Not only was Matt an excellent photographer but he becomes your best friend, your biggest cheerleader, and part therapist. Matt's work speaks for itself but what I enjoyed most about working with him was his professionalism and the fact that you had another friend with you, another friend to help guide you during a stressful day. Matt made our experience what it was meant to be... fun and relaxed. I also want to mention the fact that he got the most amazing candid shots of myself, husband, and all of our friends and family... and he did it without being seen. His partner in crime for the day of our wedding, Nick, also turned a lot of heads, definitely the dynamic duo....These two together made our wedding experience everything I had always dreamed it to be. Since it was raining on the day of our wedding, my husband and I plan on getting all dressed up again to take pictures downtown just the two of us... and are 100% without hesitation using EVO Photography to capture the moments all over again! Matthew doesn't know it yet, but he's going to be a major part of our family... baby photos, family photos, Christmas cards, you name it... Matt is our guy (and he should be yours too)!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My original wedding date was in June 2020. Matt was really flexible and patient in the weeks leading up to the wedding as I faced vendor cancellations, venue changes, and other pandemic-related issues. A week before the wedding, I tested positive for COVID-19 and had to cancel the wedding. Matt and I agreed to not cancel our contract and wait until I could reschedule. I finally rescheduled my wedding on Dec. 12, 2020, and it was a private church ceremony with no reception. Matt took beautiful photos of the wedding ceremony. My husband and I asked to have photos taken on the beach afterward, and Matt's work is stunning. Matt even came up with the idea of my husband and I having our "first dance" on the beach since we didn't have a reception. Now, we have beautiful photos to remember our wedding day. Matt is great to work with, professional, and affordable. I would definitely work with him again given the opportunity.

Matthew was great and was his 2nd photographer. His quality of work was AMAZING! Punctual, flexible and ready to help with what we needed. 10/10 would recommend.

We hired Matt for our engagement photos and were overwhelmed by his willingness to go out of his way to get us what we wanted. We picked a beach spot and wanted an early morning photo shoot, he had no problem showing up at 7am and being ready to go. He even stepped into the water to snag a few shots. We did not come with a plan and that did not bother Matt at all, he told us where we needed to go and how to stand and the pictures came out perfectly. A week later he had all the photos edited and sent to us. We are very happy with our time with Matt and would definitely pick him again!

We loved working with Matt for both our engagement and wedding pictures (and wedding video)! He is super quick and easy to communicate with. We had so much fun taking pictures and walking around Charleston; he had great suggestions and was able to capture effortless, natural pictures. I would recommend to anyone in SC/GA area (they traveled for our wedding). Our wedding was great and having EVO Photography do the pictures made it even better because of their general excitement to be there and the quality pictures!

Matt was super professional, communicated in a timely manner, and did a great job working with my husband and I (who are not picture people) to make the process fun and comfortable. Matt's communication and professionalism are unmatched. He set up a board on Pinterest so that we could share photos of what we liked and wanted on the wedding day. He was very reasonably priced. He met me at the venue before the wedding to review all areas where I wanted pictures taken. He even helped me come up with rainy day plan just in case. Matt captured our wedding day absolutely perfectly; managing to not only get all the important moments of our ceremony, but also some great shots with us with our 6 kids and 2 dogs! We will cherish these photographs for the rest of our lives.

Matt was our photographer. I explained to him that we were on a tight budget and he STILL was interested. Most places I got turned away because I said “budget”. Matt is amazing at what he does. I’m am absolutely thrilled with the pictures that came out. He was so patient and so kind. We have a two year old daughter and she was getting antsy, fussy; he pulled out his phone to play her favorite cartoon to make her feel better. That right there, is above and beyond. He wasn’t frustrated with us, he made us laugh. He made us feel so comfortable as if we knew him for years. His response time to questions I had was immediate, I loved that. I had never gotten professional pictures taken before, I wasn’t sure what to expect... EVO Photography, Matt, will forever be our family photographer here on out.

Matt is absolutely amazing at what he does!! We used him for our engagement photos and loved him so much we asked him to shoot our wedding! For the engagement shoot, he met us and we wandered the grounds for about 4 hours just taking photos. He charged a flat rate for shooting, editing, and sending photos. He also met us to give us a flash drive with all the photos to print as we please. For the wedding, he found a second shooter so he could take getting ready photos of the groom/groomsmen and a female for the bridesmaids/bride. We were actually in two separate locations getting ready and he accommodated us. Then they stayed through the night and shot over 4000 photos of the wedding and reception. Matt edited all of them and sent us both electronic copies and a flash drive. And his prices are so incredible for everything that he did!! He’s such a great guy, too. I couldn’t have asked for anything better for our wedding. I so highly recommend!
