Jason and Excel Live are literally THE BEST decision you can make for your wedding reception. Not only did we have the best music, party, and vibe, our guests have been coming up to us/reaching out since the wedding asking about the band and telling us how amazing they were. “The best band and wedding I have been to” were some of our guests compliments to Jason and his team. From initial conversations with Jason to through the wedding night, everything was perfect. He was our most responsive, helpful, and patient vendor. Admittedly we were torn on a DJ or band and he put our concerns at ease to make it exactly what we wanted. He even mixed special versions of songs for our first dance! If I ever have another party like this again, I will absolutely be going with Jason. We loved it!!

Working with Excel ended up being one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our guests haven't stopped raving about how wonderful they were. Everyone wants to ensure their wedding is memorable - not only for themselves, but for their guests. Our priority was making those memories on the dance floor with our friends and family. We had the best time of our lives at our wedding and that is thanks to Excel Live. They absolutely killed it, there was never an empty dance floor and we literally partied until they kicked us out. Excel Live was the *perfect* option for our wedding- it felt like we had a whole band there, but at the same time we had an amazing DJ too who played all the DJ songs that aren't possible with band. One of my uncle's told me he ended up on the dance floor, which never happens and that was the sign of a good band. They listened well to directions (ie. keeping our first dance short like we wanted and hit all of favorites). They also provided music for the ceremony which was hugely helpful. Jason was great throughout the whole process and was on top of communications. Also, get the lights!! They made the dance floor extra awesome. We could not have been happier.

Run do not walk to book Excel Live!!!! Jason and team were the absolute best from start to finish. They were not only extremely easy to work with but also a pleasure to work with. Wow wow wow!! Jason has me at hello!! I can’t emphasize enough just how magnificent these guys and girls are. The attention to detail and just listening to what we want is all I can ask for. He made our wedding. Not the food not the flowers, but his team. The lights, the live music, fireworks all made our day extra special. From the moment we walked into his studio I took off my shoes, sat on his couch and didn’t want to leave. We had so much fun planning the details. I would not only recommend this team of experts, but I can’t stress enough that if you don’t use them, you may be disappointed. Just saying.

If I could sum up our wedding experience with Jason it would be this, perfect. I was stressed about so many things getting done in time, but our DJ was one thing I did not have to stress over at all! His professionalism and understanding of my desires for our wedding really made for such a fun, memorable experience. Jason at Execl Entertainment came highly recommended by our venue, The View on the Hudson. My husband and I had a lunchtime ceremony, followed by a formal reception. Excel Entertainment is the absolute best dj/band hybrid out there! We were looking primarily for a band, but when we found out that they offered a mix of live band with a dj, we were sold! We actually listened to about 8 other bands from NJ/NY in every price range and not one of them could close to the talent of Excel. We saw them perform live at a bridal show and their energy was off the charts, so it was a no brainer going with them. Jason and his team played everything from 90s pop to house music, keeping the energy at an all time high. They even learned songs that we wanted them to learn, and they killed it! We can't say enough about how fabulous Excel Entertainment was at our wedding. They stayed so true to our playlist and we were so happy that they were able to cater to the "latin vibe" that we wanted. They played all the salsa and merengue we requested, and Jay took the stage to sing some classic rock hits to cater to our other guests. Jay is so personable and a pleasure to work with. Jason and his team made our wedding such a memorable night. I cannot thank you guys enough! When we first started to plan and sat in his office, I could tell that he was very detail-oriented which was super important to us. You want a DJ company that wants to know every little detail about what you are looking for, and that's exactly what Excel Entertainment delivered. We made it known that we wanted our guests to feel as if they were at an exclusive concert, and the band did not disappoint. Playing our favorite punk hits from Sum 41 and Blink 182, to bringing a more romantic vibe with Alicia Keys, set the perfect tone for the night. There is no other DJ/Band hybrid company like this..simply the best!

Jason and his squad were honestly the most professional group of people that I've ever met and they exceeded me and my wife's expectations. Everything fell into place and we couldn't have had the amazing wedding we had, if it hadn't been for Excel Entertainment. If you are looking for the perfect combo of an upbeat band and awesome hits from the DJ, Excel Entertainment is the way to go! Everyone knows a good band is crucial to the success of a wedding. I could not say kind enough words that would do Excel Entertainment justice. From the beginning of the wedding where we had more of the classics like Frank Sinatra to the last dance where everyone was getting down on the dance floor (literally - I admit my husband did request "Shout"), the band was outstanding!! They kept a great energy and are extremely talented. I was especially delighted that even in between sets and during meals when most bands take a break, one of the singers continued to perform beautiful background music for us. Liv has an amazing voice that I was honestly blown away by. Through and through, there's not a single thing I found that could have been improved upon!

We can't say enough good things about Excel Entertainment, and our guests have been raving about the quality of the band. We didn't want a cliche NJ wedding with just a DJ and all the same songs everyone is used to so we chose the DJ and full band option, and they perfectly executed exactly the vibe we wanted. The MC Jay struck the perfect balance of singing hits while getting everyone on the dance floor, to transitioning to what felt like a real live concert! Jay has a really amazing talent of being able to read the room, and maintain a level of energy that is out of this world! Jason and his team at Excel Entertainment were beyond amazing! We had our wedding on 5/25/19 and we couldn’t ask for anything more! Jason was a true professional and although my fiancé was stationed overseas he totally understood our vision and arranged last minute meetings with us to ensure everything was just as we imagined! All our guests had an amazing time and they continue to rave about our dj, photo booth, light effects and more! We had many guests come out of state, some came from peru and I could honestly say i’ve Never seen our family and friends party that he’d! Everyone is still talking about it! We were pleased with Excel after our first conversation with Jason. He promised our DJ would provide us the service we wanted for our small wedding. Well, he lied...Peter our DJ went SO ABOVE AND BEYOND for our wedding we could not recomend him more. It's been 2 weeks since our wedding and our guest still will not stop talking about the music. Peter understood the type of reception we wanted and played the perfect mix of music. We only had 63 guest and the dance floor was never empty. Our guests say they didnt want to sit and eat because they were going to miss a song. Honestly we could not have asked for a better DJ. We would recommend them 100 times over!

From the second I met Jason, I knew that we made the best decision when going with Excel. They are like no other wedding entertainers out there and I had no doubt in my mind that they were going to make our wedding the most fun time ever. What I didn’t know is how much they were going to exceed all my expectations! Jason came to my venue with us when we first booked and did a full walk through. He gave us so much expertise advice not only about the music and the lighting, but about the layout of the room, different ideas that would make the wedding flow - and everything he suggested we went with which made everything even more fabulous. He is SO knowledgeable about everything Wedding and a genius in knowing exactly how to throw a fun and awesome party. During our wedding, our guests had SO much fun!!!!! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and Excel knew exactly how to read the crowd to keep everyone going. Jason checked in with us all night long making sure we were having a great time and that everything was going how we wanted. Liv has the voice of an angel and can sing ANYTHING! The DJ and instrumental members of the band are out of this world. I am so happy to be one of the first in my very big family to get married because I will definitely make everyone book with Excel. I am a very particular and picky person, especially when it comes to music and I cannot express enough how out of this world Excel was. My husband and I are so thankful that we booked with Excel. THIS BAND IS INCREDIBLE! We had the best time at our wedding thanks to Excel Entertainment!!! Jason was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. The band kept everyone dancing all night, young and old! Even when we wanted to take a break to eat, the music was just SO good, no one wanted to leave the dance floor. We had a perfect mix of band and DJ, but it was impressive to me that the band played til the very last second of the night...and some! If you want the best wedding possible, book this band. Excel Excel Excel! The best choice we made for our wedding. My fiance and I love live music, but so many of the bands out there seem dated. Excel's DJ/Band mix surpassed our expectations at every turn! Jason the owner was the best to work with. I've already recommended them to everyone I come in contact with.

We chose Excel Live for our wedding and could be happier. Seriously. Jason (the owner, and guitarist) was beyond helpful from the moment we sat down at his office. He put our minds at ease, and didn't have to worry about anything concerning entertainment. The raw talent that the band had was jaw dropping. So much fun, can't wait to watch the video!

I first heard Excel at a bridal show and I was immediately convinced I wanted them for our wedding. We are extremely happy that we chose them to perform at our wedding. You get the perfect blend of DJ/band to play a variety of music. I was a bit worried since most of our guests are Hispanic/Filipino but everyone absolutely LOVED them. We purchased the band option which includes the MC, singer, bass/drums. First of all, the singer, Livia, is fantastic! Her voice is just wonderful. The MC, Jason, is super awesome and flexible with whatever you need. He also sometimes sings and plays the guitar (he is AMAZING on it). The men who played the bass/drums are also great! There was another guy who was the DJ and also happened to sing one of the songs we requested to hear live. He turned out to be fabulous as well! We also purchased the uplighting, custom gobo design, and TV package option. The uplighting is what MADE the room! All the guests loved the different colors that were used. The gobo design was beautiful too (there are dozens of options to choose from)- although our guests didn't even realize we had it since they are distracted by other things. The TV package was awesome as well. We are so happy we purchased it. The only thing that disappointed me was that the candid camera guy (which is included in the TV package) took less than 100 photos and most of them ended up looking cloudy/blurry. Either way it's an added bonus that we didn't even expect because all we cared about were the huge TVs that were by the band. We'd like to thank the entire team for an amazing night- we are so happy to have booked you. Jason- you are awesome for helping us make our custom mixes. Thank you for being flexible with us and also we love how easy it is to use your client webpage. We will definitely use you again for other party needs! Brides- this team is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. Excel Entertainment was everything we could have hoped for and then some. We didn't know if the right wedding entertainment existed until we saw them perform live at a showcase. With them you get the modern style of a DJ with the authenticity of a band. They are absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to anyone looking for wedding entertainment.

The is a band and DJ mix done to perfection! Jason and the rest of the crew did an absolutely amazing job! They had everyone on the dance floor all night. I will never forget having the time of my life on the dance floor when suddenly Jason with his guitar and the lead singer were right next to me on the dance floor jamming out and pumping up the crowd. It was awesome! I would give them 10 stars if I could.
