good to be true, so we scheduled an in-person consultation at his office in San Marcos. Ali is very friendly and funny. I am not well versed in flowers, but he knew which ones would fit my theme of blush, rose gold, gold, and white, and which ones would save me the most money. He knew budget was a big thing for my wedding, and he delivered on a wedding that looked extravagant and my close friends can't believe the amazing price I got for: the ceremony decor and arch, gorgeous centerpieces, sweetheart table and decor, uplighting, candles, king and queen chairs, and chiffon draping. He basically made my wedding look amazing! Ali is also very honest, and will tell you any upcoming weddings he has in the area, so you can come by and see him set up and see what one of his real weddings look like. I thought all these 5 star reviews are too good to be true, but now I am a believer. He gave me free upgrades near the end and patiently and graciously listened and accommodated all my requests (my onslaught of pinterest pictures through email), and I am so, so happy with the way my wedding turned out. I would give 10 stars if I could. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful wedding! You'll get everything you need through Excellent Designs. Thanks Ali!!

at I simply could not justify spending. After months of looking for a florist, I found Excellent Designs. I can not describe how thankful I am for all they did for my wedding; they were patient, affordable, detailed, and maintained great communication throughout the process. I could not have been happier with how every arrangement looked. I received so many compliments on my flowers and, to make it even better, the flowers lasted over a week (yes, totally did not expect that) after my wedding so my home smelled amazing. Ali was genuine and really went above and beyond to help my husband and I to make sure everything was created to our liking. If anyone needs a florist for anything really, go to Ali and his company- you won't be disappointed! From Chris and I, thank you so much Ali and your team!!!

His wife does the arrangements and she is an artist! They make an awesome team and it was a pleasure working with them! Thank you!

on arrangements. His wife is the florist; she is excellent at reproducing what she sees. Take photo references to show them what you want! If she doesn't have that to work with, she has a set "style" that she falls back on. Which is beautiful, but might not be what you have in mind. We ordered five large arrangements, eight bouquets, eight pew arrangements, 16 boutonnieres and 18 corsages. I think we got a good deal.

. Ali was professional and had great communication with us throughout the wedding planning process. He is flexible and was willing to make changes for us up to the very day before our wedding! Ali and his team were completely reliable and went over and above for us on our big day! We would recommend them to anyone!

Excellent Designs are professional and very affordable. They are willing to work with your budget. *Tip: you may want to give them a lower number of expected guests because once they give you an estimate, you agree to pay a certain price and once you sign an agreement, you cannot change the number of guests. I wanted an estimate for 250 guests and signed a contract for that. When it came closer to my wedding, only 211 and confirmed so I couldn't change the number of tables, etc. but I could use the extra money on other amenities such as uplights. I was extremely happy with how they decorated my wedding (ceremony and venue); they also did my flowers and they were gorgeous. I highly recommend going with this vendor.

ipated a lot of tiresom DIY projects. However, Excellent Designs really came through. When they say they can work with any budget - they're not kidding! I was able to have real flowers (I know it sounds crazy), and the reception decor turned out beautiful. They set up and take down everything for you so you don't have to worry about that. They were on time and I had no problems with them. I got rave reviews of how beautiful everything looked (especially for the price I paid). I would highly recommend!!!
