Joe and his team were excellent! He seamlessly transitioned music for our ceremony, kept the energy just right on the dance floor and worked closely with us to make the day seamless and our own. He allowed flexibility to either get detailed with the songs we wanted or be hands off. With there being so many decisions to make already, we chose to let Joe take the wheel with an understanding of the vibe we wanted and he executed it flawlessly. The lighting and photo booth also elevated the experience. Thanks for a magical ceremony and a great party!
We used exceptional entertainment for our wedding this past August in Door County and it was nothing but amazing. From the beginning Joe was amazing to work with. He communicated clearly, answered any questions we had, and would go above and beyond to put into action any ideas we had. We didn’t realize how much an amazing DJ truly matters for your wedding throughout the entire day and Joe exceeded expectations. Throughout our multiple planning meetings and his easy to use online planning portal we were able to narrow down exactly what we wanted in our day. Joe was amazing at keeping the entire day on track from our ceremony through the last song and kept our guests engaged throughout the entire night. A good DJ is so much more than putting on a “must play” playlist you put together for your wedding and with Joe it was an amazing experience. Our guests keep telling us ever since how great our DJ was!

Meet the team
- Joe NaganOwner, Lead DJHello and welcome! My interest in music started when I was 7 years old. I am a former member of the Appleton Boychoir and have traveled the world performing in different countries and cities. I play many different instruments including trumpet, guitar, ukulele, and piano as well as sing. In college I studied music engineering and have a home studio where I now write and produce my own music. I have been a DJ for 9 years and have helped tons of couples bring their wedding vision to life. I believe in quality equipment, but more importantly knowledgable DJs that know how to properly use it. Your entertainment can make or break your wedding which is why I believe in constant education to deliver the best possible service to all our clients. My goal with starting Exceptional Entertainment is to provide the service that I feel many other companies are leaving on the table. I believe that you deserve more than just a man behind a computer, fancy lights, and loud music.
