The dance floor was not empty once at our wedding! The DJ makes or breaks a wedding, in my opinion, and I have been to some where the DJ was inexperienced or not very in tune with the clients' wants and needs. Not Rocco! The total opposite! All of or guests were excited to play a game to win our homemade centerpieces, they enjoyed the upbeat music as he introduced himself, and we all absolutely loves that his speakers were well placed and not deafening any of our guests. He even lead a few group dances and a line dance that allowed our photographer to get a picture of everyone dancing! Lately, he was able to give me a very personal and memorable father/daughter dance. My father recorded himself playing our special song on his piano and then sent it to Rocco via email. I was then able to record my voice reciting a poem for my Dad and I sent it to Rocco as well. Rocco expertly overplayed my poem with the ending of my Dad's song and I was able to surprise my dad with a fitting tribute. Enough can not be said of Rocco's work! I highly recommend him to any bride and groom who want to party all night long!

f our wedding, I didn't have to worry about a thing! Travis did a great job of organizing our bridal party for introductions. He coordinated perfect timing with our photographer for dances, pictures, cake cutting, etc. And most importantly, he played exactly the music we wanted to hear and he kept everyone dancing! I couldn't have asked for anything better! I highly recommend!

We had quite a few kids attend the wedding, so after the ceremony and sitting more during cocktail hour the kids were ready to move. The dance floor was cleared and Travis knew the music to play to keep the kids contained on the dance floor and he kept the music appropriate for pre-dinner music. The DJ has a big job to do, keeping the flow and mood during the reception, keeping people on the dance floor having a good time, making announcements, transitioning the songs seamlessly and in an order that makes sense... Travis from Excite DJ has done all that and more and I know the bride and groom were very happy.

He set up early was on top of every situation a backyard wedding throws at you. 3. Great under pressure! Our food came out an hour later than anticipated and he kept everyone informed and the party kept moving. 4. He is truly amazing at his job. I had 150 guests and every single one of them was on the dance floor the entire time. I had every guest say they have never had so much fun at a wedding. I cannot thank Travis enough for everything he did. He truly made our wedding day unforgettable.

ally we paid the guy up front and never heard from him again. When we called him the phone was out of service. All of the sudden our wedding was 3 weeks away and we didn't have a DJ. So I called Travis to see if there was any chance he was still available. Not only was he available but he met with us the next night to go over everything. He spent hours with us planning the whole wedding from start to finish. We walked in freaking out and by the time we left we were excited (see what I did there?) for our wedding again. Travis delivered on everything he promised and more. The dance floor was packed all night and he even had our grandparents dancing. He was professional and very organized. After everything that happened we ended up paying a lot more than we had planned, but our wedding was amazing. Travis really saved the day.

s for other vendors! The communication was a huge help in pulling everything together. He spent a lot of time helping us get everything we wanted within our budget. He has always been able to play to guests of all ages and the lighting is a great touch. We always refer him to all of our friends!

g. Rocco did a fantastic job with the music and capturing the entire night. The night goes by so fast it's so nice to look back and watch the night anytime we want. Our dj was also fantastic. They worked with us to pick the perfect songs for all the moments of our night. We wanted to make sure there was plenty of time for dancing and they made that a priority. Everyone had such a fantastic time dancing the night away. Many people tell us they never had so much fun and we know excite dj was part of that experience!

in narrowing down exactly what you want for your reception and ceremony (if need be). I literally picked all the entrance songs for my wedding party and parents, as well as cake cutting songs and some songs that I really wanted to be played at either the cocktail hour, dinner, or for the dance floor. All of them were played, except the cake-cutting song I wanted- he played the wrong one, but the only people that noticed were me and my husband. I also enlisted my photographers through Excite. They were phenomenal. My pictures are beautiful and just unbelievable. Originally, I was only slated to have one photographer for the day, but he was injured last minute, and I ended up getting two different photographers who had more experience and did a better job than the first photographer would have, based on the portfolios I saw. My guests raved about the photographer who stayed for the reception, because she was like a ninja- running everywhere, getting pictures of everyone, and even taking what later looked like family portraits. I got my pictures in 2 weeks, which is super fast, and a $50 credit for ordering online. I have only a few minor complaints. The photography package only includes 2 locations, so I had to pay an additional $95 to have the photographer come to my house for pre-ceremony pics, the church, and the reception. I also paid an additional $300 to have the photographers stay an additional 3 hours, which was weird because most receptions last 5 hours, and Excite only offers a 6 hour package, which wouldn't be enough time off the bat to include pictures in between the ceremony and reception. Also, Rocco does such a great job that he is booked for almost every weekend during the popular wedding seasons during the year, and it gets hard for him to either a) get back to you on a timely basis, and b) keep tabs on what he was paid by you. When I went to my final appointment before my wedding, he couldn't find any of my proof of payments, so I had to pull up my bank account and check images on my laptop, which I had brought with me, to show him what he paid. After my wedding, he had hired an assistant, who I frankly think was not very professional on the phone and tried telling Rocco that I shorted him $285. I, of course, had proof of payment on my phone (again), and the issue was resolved, but it wasn't brought up to me until I went to get my picture discs and I had originally been told everything was all set. It kind of threw me off-guard and annoyed me, but ultimately, all that matters was my guests had a great time, and my pictures were amazing.
