James, and his assistant John, exceeded all expectations for videography on our wedding day! James was very responsive to emails throughout the planning process as well as scheduling a call the week of to confirm what was most important to us for him to capture. They also traveled to Tallahassee, FL from St. John's, FL for a very reasonable rate. The day of, they both arrived early and worked seamlessly with our photographer. They were very polite and stayed behind the scenes, occasionally asking for an additional pose or shot after photography. We received our videos within 10 days of our wedding! For the Silver Package, they were on site for 8 hours of coverage and we received several videos - highlight, getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception (speeches and special dances), dancing (1.5 hours of the dance floor!), and private last dance & exit. He also used songs from our day as background and asked for other song suggestions too. My husband and I are so thankful for the time they spent to capture our day and how much footage we have to look back on. Thank you again Exciting Productions!!!!!

Jim with Exciting Productions was a fantastic, budget friendly, high value videography option for our wedding. He was extremely easy to work with and blended in seamlessly with our venue and DJ. He captured the whole day in a sweet and artful way and we have greatly enjoyed going back and watching both our raw footage from the reception/ceremony and his summary video from our big day. If you are looking to capture your big day as it authentically happened, I cannot recommend him enough.

James did such a good job with our wedding! He captured exactly what we wanted and he was so easy to work with. Communication through email was very easy and he responded quickly. When we got our DVDs and USB, he even made a cover for the dvd case and the actual disc with shots from the wedding. He was very reasonably priced for the services he offered. He asked us what specific things we wanted shot and we gave him a few specific things, and everything turned out amazing. We are so happy with his work and definitely recommend him for any of your events!

James is great to work with! When COVID changed our 2020 wedding plans, he was so kind and flexible with moving our deposit to our new date in 2021. We had our wedding a few weeks ago and got our videos back so quickly! The video quality, sound quality and editing are all great. My husband originally didn’t want a videographer due to it being an added expense for our wedding, but after seeing our videos and all the moments that James captured, he’s so glad we didn’t skip having a videographer. James did a beautiful job with our wedding video and we highly recommend him! His planning process was simple and straightforward and consisted of 2 easy and helpful questionnaires and a phone call, in addition to numerous emails back and forth to answer all of our questions. He was really flexible with planning (this was a COVID wedding) and he easily adapted to all of our changes in schedule and locations without complaint and without any extra fees. He had very reasonable pricing! He worked with us to figure out what was most important to us to capture on our wedding day and really seemed to care that we had a great experience and great wedding day. On the day of our wedding he arrived early and was attentive and excited to be there. He was calm and truly professional throughout our wedding and got great footage. We received a highlights video within one week of our wedding and I've watched it about a thousand times already. As the bride, it is such a treasure to have video footage of the most special day of my life and to be able to see scenes, people and reactions that I missed while I was busy doing something else during a hectic wedding day. He interviewed most of our wedding guests and the messages they left were so sweet and personal. My groom and I were exhausted by the time we got to our interview portion and unable to string two thoughts together, and he was really nice and understanding about it too. He really helped us feel comfortable and like ourselves. James also offered us the raw footage of our wedding, which was also great and fun to watch as well. He has tons of wedding videos up on his Youtube page as examples of his work and they are all incredible quality and really give you a sense of what the day was like. All in all, we couldn't be happier and highly recommend James and Exciting Productions for all of your video needs.

Jim was awesome! I had 1 week until my wedding day and all the sudden decided I wanted a videographer. Surprisingly Jim had my date available. He worked with me quickly to get things signed and ready to go. I went with an 8 hour package and the day of video went beautifully. He accommodated our requests and was so friendly. James is awesome! When I inquired about his prices for videography he emailed back almost immediately! When it gets closer to your day he has you fill out a worksheet going through everything so that you make sure that whatever is most important to you is focused on in the footage. You can tell he’s been doing this a long time! He is not only very responsive, but he completed our footage very fast! It was one week after our wedding and he already had the highlight video ready for us to share on social media with our friends and family! The remaining footage came in the mail soon after. We did the bronze package and we got a USB with all video clips and 3 DVDs complete with custom covers of photos from our special day! I highly recommend James for your wedding or any other event you want to capture forever!

Jim Campbell from “Exciting Productions” did an excellent job of my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding video. Jim is extremely organized and experienced and has handouts and questionnaire’s to assist with design and decisions on what the couple wants from the video experience. During the day, he was engaged, focused and friendly and the results showed in the excellent video’s that were received. He couldn’t have done a better job on the hi-lights video and the bonus was the extra videos (Introductions, Toasts & Cake, First Dances and Dancing Fun). Jim provided the hi-lights video within two weeks of the wedding with the other videos shortly after. He was very accommodating on providing the number of copies to different addresses. We could not be happier with the quality, service and final output of Jim Campbell from “Exciting Productions”.

We are really happy we hired James as our videographer. We were drawn to Exciting Productions because it was the most reasonable. Before that, we had thought about not getting a videographer because of the cost, but I had heard how much people regretted not getting one! And I would tell anyone getting married how important it is! We chose the cheapest package, but the video is really well done! James included music we chose, and nice pictures from the wedding on the front and back cover. He met with us in person (very kind and friendly), and also spoke to me on the phone about what we wanted and didn't want. I do wish we had him stay one more hour later, when the dancing really picked up! But that's on us! For the cost we paid, we are really pleased. James is very reasonable. We also received the video very quickly; about two weeks after the wedding. We got it before we saw a single professional picture from our photographers! We were so excited to watch it. My only complaint is that he fixed a couple of mistakes made by my family and DJ. He dubbed over them, and I bet most people would be really happy with that! A lot of people want a perfect day and a perfect video. But I kind of wanted to see those mistakes. I'm probably not typical. All in all, we would recommend Exciting Productions to anyone. And anyone on the fence about whether you need a videographer, get one! You miss too much and the time flies by, as everyone says it does. This helps you remember, and see things you (especially the bride) miss! The bride misses everything before they walk down the aisle! This also gives you something to look forward to after the wedding is over, and to share with family and friends!

So happy that we hired James to film our wedding day. He was a pleasure to work with, and I couldn't be happier with how the videos turned out. I met with James in person once and spoke to him on the phone once before the wedding so that he could get to know us better and get a better idea of what we were looking for him to capture. We opted for the 8 hour package and I'm so glad we did because he was able to capture moments from us getting ready, to the ceremony, to the cocktail hour and dinner, and dancing. We received our 8 minute highlights video DAYS after the wedding (we were able to watch it while watching the sun set on the beach on our honeymoon, which was magical), and we received our full length video less than three weeks after the wedding. I couldn't believe how fast he got it all done! We loved watching the video and all of the memories, and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. Highly recommend!!! Thank you, James!

We greatly enjoyed working with James on our wedding day, and we are so amazed with how our videos turned out! Even though we went with a package with James as our sole videographer, he was able to capture the key moments of both the bride and groom getting ready, and he had multiple cameras set up at the ceremony and reception to capture a number of different angles. He created a beautiful highlight video that in 12 minutes captures the key moments of the day, and really tells the story of our wedding day! We have enjoyed sharing the highlight video with our guests, as well as friends/family who could not be there for the wedding, and have heard so many positive comments about the video! We also love the full-length videos he produced on the ceremony, toasts, etc. We also feel that Jame's services were an exceptional value compared to other videographers we had researched! James also worked well with our photographer and coordinated with her throughout the day. We were also impressed with the short-term around time for having our videos, as we had the highlight video only about 1 week after the wedding, and the other full-length edited videos about 2 weeks after the wedding. James was a pleasure to work with, and we are so glad we chose him as our videographer!

Jim's work is exactly what we were looking for. My wife and I were seeking a videographer who wasn't flashy and epic, but who would capture the true heart of our wedding day. We wanted to encapsulate the memory of our loved ones in a simple yet artful form, and Jim did exactly that. He blends interviews with friends and family into the film which will be incalculably valuable in future years. Not only is Jim's work exceptional, the cost of his work was extremely reasonable. This is a very long overdue review (married 10.21.17) but so am happy to provide! Exciting Productions were a dream to work with. Jim took the time to conduct a very thorough "interview" with us to make sure everything we wanted for our special day was captured. Day of wedding, we never felt as though Jim and Deborah were lurking in the background; they anticipated our flow and worked with us, not against. When we received the final videos, within a short time frame - a few weeks, we could not have been more pleased. In fact, we cried at the beautiful quality and thoughtfulness of the editing.
